I don't get any more the front led notification when an email arrives.
Where can I find the settings for the front led?
edit: forgot to say... I'm running Cyanogenmod 7..
Settings > Display > Notification Flash.
I can't find Notification Flash... maybe because I'm running CM7?
Hmmm. I'm not running CM 7 atm so I don't know, I'm sorry.
Cyanogen mod settings then display.

Hi guys,
I got a small problem with my desire z and cm7.
Ive installed the latest release base 186.
I want to change the background of the lockscreen.
I know where i have to go for it and i also can choose "custom background",
But when i select a custom background picture the lockscreen will still show the normal background image from my screen.
When i try a "color" this works.
Ive tried it in the same way on my girlfriend's desire - there it's working...
Could anyone help me here?
btw the dimensions of the image are 480 x 800 if the is important...
Thanks for ur help

I found out that I have to use the original Gallery to be able to set a lockscreen background. The alternatives I had to browse to a picture always gave me the same background as the homescreen after applying.
Ive used the stock gallery but it hasnt worked. But now ive updated to cm7 build 210 and it is working! but i got some problems while resizing the picture for the lookscreen - it shows me a square as border but not with all pictures...very strange. But only with some pictures not with all!
Thread can be closed.
Updating to a newer nightly build will fix the issue

The CM one doesnt seem to work (under System Settings > Settings (CM) > Nav Bar)
did you try from ROM control? It should be instantaneous. Got to system settings > ROM Control > NAvigation Bar > Enable [Toggle button] (first in list).
I flashed latest nightly of CM10.1 and everything is cool.
I just can't figure out how to hide the dots of the pattern lockscreen. I am sure I did this in CM10.
I just want to hide the dots but show the pattern when someone clicks on the location of the dots.
any idea?
That option should be there in security settings. If it isn't, then maybe CM just hasn't added it yet. 10.1 is still a work in progress, so it won't have all the CM10 features just yet.

I've never seen the possibility to remove the dots in any ROM, only remove the trace line.
Beamed from my CM10.1 Galaxy Nexus
CM has an option to hide the dots too. Gives you a fully blank screen. Hiding the trace is a standard AOSP option.

if by breathing effect you mean fading in and out then yes, perseus kernel has just been updated not too long ago to allow for fading led you can find the thread in original development it also has allot of other features that are fun to play around with so i recomend giving it a go and im sure you wont be dissapointed
If you mean the fading effect, open STweaks, go to Misc tab, and change the Notification LED behavior to fading.

There is no option to change the toggles by default in any rom. You need to be running a custom rom with the mods implented. This is not a feature of the 4.1.2 update. A seperate toggle screen was introduced with Android 4.2.2 which is only available now as Aosp/CM10.1/PA.
