Pull the battery. Put the battery in. Hold the volume down button and hit power on, which will take you to recovery. Do a wipe data/factory reset and reboot.

That's my suggestion too. Get into recovery, do another wipe, (factory, cache, dalvik) then reflash the ROM.
Ok Sir I will do it but Can you give a link with the Reflash.

I did try that but always say the phone its not conected i put the phone in recovery and hboot usb and fast boot and get nothing always the phone its not conected.
Okay, so a friend asks me to fix her Dinc... here's the story.
When I first got the dinc, it only powered up into FASTBOOT (HBOOT 0.92, Radio 2.15). The volume and power buttons don't work. She said it crashed when she FC a program to get more memory.
I tried to flash the phone using pb31img.zip on a newly formatted (fat32) sdcard. It scans the card and errors with older version.
Next I try to flash with RUU. That was successful and I can boot into the phone... in safe mode. In addition, if I shut down the phone and power up again, I get stuck in FASTBOOT and have to redo the RUU.
Okay, I figured with the phone booting into Froyo, all is not lost. I tried to use unrevoked to get root and poke around. That failed with error asking if firmware is too new.
I try to install z4root... that doesn't work either since safe mode seems to mean only default system programs work (I can install, but can't run). Probably why unrevoked failed also.
I'm starting to think it is a hardware issue since the RUU should have fixed everything.
Any ideas???
Thanks.
Go to this website and follow the steps to exit safe mode and see if that solves your problem.... let me know?

When it takes you back to hboot and it loads the ruu and it asks to update say no and it should ask if you want to reboot.... if it don't highlight fastboot tap the power button and it will take you to a menu scroll down till you hit reboot device and tap power button and it should reboot....

Shuts down and then goes back into fastboot.

Did you try rebooting from fastboot instead of using the ruu again
Sent from my Incredible using XDA App
When it boots and goes into fastboot, none of the buttons are responsive. I have to pull battery.

As I mentioned, none of the buttons in fastboot seems to work, so I can't reboot, just a battery pull. Interestingly, when I have the pb31img there, it scans and tells me its an older version, but then the buttons work... reboots back into fastboot.
I'm thinking of trying the revert to 2.1 and go from there... is it safe to flash over the latest Froyo RUU with 2.15 radio with the following?
RUU_IncredibleC_Verizon_WWE_1.22.605.2_Radio_1.00.03.04.06_hboot_0.79_release_161494_NoDriver_0514.exe

Can't get the fastboot to recognize any pb31img.zip file now... it only worked when I first got the dead phone. Now that I have flashed with RUU, the fastboot won't recognize the pb31img file.
I'm going to have to try to manually flash or root using adb... trying to get all the files now.

It's always been s-on... could never get root, so couldn't get s-off, otherwise I would try flashing recovery and custom ROMS or poking around with Titanium and rebuilding apps from another dinc.

Any luck Woz?
Yes, Doug gave me a bunch of roms to flash. Nothing worked. The last step we did before I took a break was to get into recovery using adb. Then I wiped cache and data. That didn't seem to work. Flashed another rom using recovery. Nada.
I put the phone down for a few hours. Then I decided to crack it open to see if it was a refurb (cheap label makes me suspicious). Nothing unusual inside, I put it back together and powered on... the thing booted normally... everything worked.
Doug suspects it was the data/cache wipe, I don't know. I think it was the bug that got let out when I cracked it open.

You can try flashing the ROM again without wiping anything. It is possible you got a bad download. There has been some of that happening as well. If a second flash doesn't help, try downloading again

So, I was having a problem where the app "App Trailers" wasn't playing anything, so I thought maybe my root was messing it up, so I followed a video step-by-step without watching it trough first. I was supposed to delete "su" but it was not there so I deleted "sh" and he showed in the next step, not to worry if it's not there go to xbin and I found it there and deleted su and everything related to it from "Xbin". After re-booting, everything was fine, and the root was removed, but my wifi just gave "error" no info. So I read a bit on the internet and it said to try clear cache and restore factory settings but that did not work, so I re-rooted, and still same problem, any tips?
-Thanks!

If this won't work, reininstall the ROM.
On my stock rom this used to happen regulary with my new rom it stopped doing that.
And please, don't mess with superuser again, if you need to unroot then do it with an unroot.zip.
Still didn't work, and I cant install a new rom cause i cant download clockworkmod from app store

Hey there!!
I've been using @elroysde 's MxS Rom on my XS [lb .96] for about two weeks...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2125389&nocache=1
Excelent ROM!! I just have one problem, when i activate the hotspot, i get no internet on my laptop... Windows shows "limited connectivity"... I've tried it on different laptops, on win7, win8.1, and ubuntu... None of them seem to work...Ubuntu just connects and disconnects automatically...
I've flashed the .96 kernel over and over and nothing yet...
Any ideas?? This is the 1st time it happens to me on a Custom ROM...
I did full wipe before install, just like on another ROM.
Btw i already tried using a fixed ip address...didnt work...
Thanks in advance!!
Flash this on CWM/TWRP, it's Crossbreeder: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2086051&d=1372770386

There should be an option while flashing like "Skip MD5 Checksum" in cwm. Select that option and then you will be able to flash the file.
Hi!!
Well, about flashing the zip...Thank you so much, it worked, it was a problem with the zip verification and the md5 check... I already flashed it...yeahhh!!
But hotspot still doesnt work... i really dunno whats happening... I'm getting the very same messages on win 8.1 and Ubuntu...
Should i configure something on crossbreed?? I cant find anything about it on my cellphone.
Well, thanks anyway... I'll keep trying til it works hahahaha
Any help is still very much appreciated...
