Do anybody know any cases that protects the whole HTC evo with the seidio extended battery.

Wife has the Seidio Rugged for the 3500 battery. Beefy case, its a bit bulky but does the job. She broke two evo screens prior to the case, she is going on six months with the case and her phone looks new still.

So does anyone think its possible or willing to cut up there otterbox commutor case a little?
Infected Htc Evo
not really it would be a lot of cutting. you would have to cut a hug hole through tough plastic to get it to fit AND it still may not work since i believe you would have to cut where the clasp is that holds it together : \
sadly you have to choose bigger battery or a decent case
It really is a big dissapointment that no one is supporting the extended batteries with cases of any type.... I mean how hard would it be to make a silicone case for the extended battery doors? Ebay silicone cases are under $3 for nice cases. If one of the Hong Kong ebay sellers would offer a silicone case that would fit the extended battery door they would be rich!! Soooo many people want something for these...
Well I have them both on the way so I'm just going to play with it and see how close it is to fitting... Maybe even try and heat up the case and mold it a little. Idk. I'd love to hear from everyone else.

Im looking to get another case for my evo and im stuck between the otterbox commuter and the seidio active..which one will be the better buy? i have the innocase surface II in pearl but it gets dirty to quickly, if i do decide to go with the otter is there a holster to fit?
OtterBox Rocks
Hey i have the otterbox commuter case....and its awesome, Just sucks for me a bit case i have 3 MicroSD Cards so its a bit of a pain to remove the case over and over , I however, haven't seen the seidio case at all..... I'm wondering how the defender case handles...
Seidio cases look nice but their build quality is just ****. I have gone through 3 of their Active Limited Ed. cases already. The first one had busted tabs, and the other two had paint peeling within a week. I still use it but can't in good conscience recommend it.
I have the Otterbox Commuter as well, and it's nice but not as rugged as the Seidio.
I bought the otterbox commuter and the rubber skin wasn't tight and seemed stretched out a little. So I bought the seidio innocase rugged and I love it, I have 2 sd cards and 4 batteries so long story short do you want a quality case or the abilty to access the batteries and sd cards, lol something has to give, i chose quality.

I want to get an extended battery (nothing huge, no 3500 for me, but something in the lower 2000s will be fine) but I don't want to sacrifice being able to use a badass case like Trident cyclops or defender (can't decide which I want).
However, I don't think there's a 2000+ sized battery that'll fit in the stock case, so do any of those companies make cases for phones that have extended batteries?
If not, can anyone tell me the largest battery you can fit inside of a stock back door?
1800 is the biggest that will fit under the stock door....I just got a 3500 and will NEVER go back..awesome!
you can fit the sprint 2600 in the ballistic case with some modifications... there is a thread about it somewhere on here where someone was asking and I posted pictures showing what needed to be done
bump......
no one makes a rugged extended case except sedio man... thats it, your only option other than modding the ballistic case.
^ +1
i did this and its awesome!
I have the Seidio Extended battery and simply took one of my TPU cases and modded the back to be cut open around the extended part. The remaining cover still houses the sides and corners as usual and the extended case protects the camera/flash area. I have dropped it a few times and it has held up just as well.
At $4-5 a case, simple enough to do. I didn't want the added bulk of the Seidio Rugged, and the slim one piece case just simply fails to protect the phone when being dropped.
Some very small [email protected] pics from my webcam.
***Just read elsewhere that a credit card makes the perfect shape to cutout for a perfect tight fit to the Seidio Extended's bumpout.

I'm wondering what case people are using with extended batteries. My buddy bought this battery. It is working well for him, so I was going to order one. However I need to have a case that is going to protect my Evo. I'm currently using the Otterbox Commuter and would prefer one that offers similar protection. Any help is appreciated.
I don't use a case. I just use the screen protector. Granted, I don't have any kids around, so it's just more taking care not to drop it on concrete or something.
I just ordered the Trident Electra case which comes with a 2800 mAh battery:

Seidio also has cases for the extended battery:

If you do a quick search on eBay and Amazon, there's also a few silicone and TPU cases out there too.
Hope this helps!
Search for "case" in reviews.

I second the trident case. great case. Comes with a hard protective shell that has a built in screen protector and a rubber bumper in a variety of colors.
any thin case reccommendations?
seidio case
Seidio cases are the best.
Would you guys recommend the seidio extended case and battery over the Trident extended case and battery?
And why?
Edit: NM, I'll figure it out

I prefer the trident case over seidio for the simple reason that seidio, customer support stinks.
The moretalktime.com website has a tpu case that works with a 3500mA battery

I got the seidio extended rugged case and I couldn't be happier

I recently purchased the Gorilla Gadgets extended battery for my SIII. At the same time, I ordered the snap on case that came with it. The problem is that it doesn't fit snugly around the sides of the device. Have any of you out there using extended batteries come across a good case for it? I thought I would ask here and hopefully save some money on other ill fitting cases.
Best I have found is Airbus on amazon. Its not perfect but its far better then the hyperion cases or the yesoo cases stay far away from yesoo. The airbus case did require punching out the mic holes with a paper punch as they were to small and blocking access.
Anything that isn't a TPU case?
At this point, I would be happy with anything that fits properly. The case from Gorilla Gadget is close, but not close enough, and I'm anal about my phone!
Seidioonline is the best I have found

Have you considered Seidio's extended cases?
Not sure if Seidio's extended battery is the same dimensions as the GG one though.
I personally ordered the active and one of their batteries, though shipping is taking forever
