as the title says, i'm looking for a cheap MHL cable recommendation
Looks like more adapters hitting the market. Noticed the price at Amazon for official Samsung adapter is £16.99, bizlink £10.99 and one or two other options...
I bought this (18$):

what cable should i be looking to buy for the MHL to HDMI converter. As in is there a specific brand that is going to be better quality then another? Being that the one offered through verizon is Ibolt and not a OEM product.

I purchased the Samsung HDMI/MHL adapter and it works, I don't know if the quality is any better then other brands (no ground for comparison).
I've been using the one from Monoprice. I haven't had any problems with it.
Gang,
I bought a $6+ MHL Mirco USB to HDMI on ebay claiming to be for the S3. But when I received it it was a 5 pin that worked with a S2.
Anyone buy a cheap ebay MHL that works with the S3? I realize its a usb pin problem. We need 11 pin and the older ones are 5 pin.
If you purchased one that works please let me know.
This is what I bought, still listed as for the S3 but doesn't:

does anybody know if there exists an HDMI cord or adapter that will fit with the SGS2 T989?
which is a real good one that actually works with stock rom?
there exists indeed. google mhl adapter
I bought mine at a TMobile store.
Monoprice.com is the cheapest I could find for mhl adaptor. It works for me when I was on stock rom.
Hey Guys,
I just found this cool Accessory at Best Buy its the Micro USB/USB Connector Model: EPL-AU10WEGXAR. Like many of you I wanted the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 to be a full fledge Computer with its super fast processor and Multi-Task capabilities. The way I have mine set up is as so. I bought the Moko Leather Case from Amazon flipped it around since don't really use the camera plug the Micro USB and then at the end is a Female USB that I use to plug in my mouse. I bought a HP Keyboard that I assume was meant for some windows device but I truly only got it because of the size. Like me I most of you guys know the struggle of not being able to find any accessories. The Adapter was only $20. Now I know we all could prefer the Samsung Media Dock with the 3 USBs PLUS charging to work but for now this a inexpensive workaround. Wired Mice are like $5, Bluetooth Keyboards go as cheap as $20 on Amazon, and the Adapter is only $20. So There you have $55 for the hardware not including the case. Im sure theres plenty of cheap options for cases. If you guys have any Questions feel free to ask.

Hello, does it matter which Slimport adapter I buy? Can I just go for the cheapest?
I bought 2 different ones on amazon. Both work just fine. I like this one a bit better. Better quality and it just looks better.

The adapter shouldn't matter, just make sure you have a cable and TV that support HDMI 1.4a. While HDMI 1.4a is a bit old now, if you haven't upgraded your TV and cables recently you may find yourself in an incompatible situation, regardless of the slimport adapter.
Buy the Analogix SlimPort SP1003 on Amazon for $29.00. Don't waste your time with those cheap ass Chinese made "SlimPorts". This is the official. I bought 2 cheap ones on Amazon and they didn't work at all. Trust me.
