Hi guys,
I recieved a "HTC update for windows phone" for my DE vodafone Trophy about 2 weeks ago. (my OS version is 7392 before this update)
But After I update this update my phone stuck at "step 9 rebooting your phone", it restart after about 20min and stuck at HTC logo screen forever.
I tried to restart it, it stuck at same place with 7 times Vibration.
As i could enter the rainbow screen, i flashed it back to 7004 after n times flash error.
I tried to update it again. In zune it has to update to 7008 first, and this update is without problem finished. And then it should update to 7392 with "HTC update for windows phone" after a long waitting, it appears stuck again just same like i worte above.
Has somesone the same problem or some ideas about this issue?
Try flashing it with 7392 ROM.
Yep, Try flashing one of ansar's roms, he released an unlocked one, and you can go all the way up to RTM...
I need a offical 7392 rom, I searched for it but i can't find it.
ansar's rom shows always flash error by me.

I dont think that the problem is ansar's roms
Maybe your phone its locked by your provider and you can't flash any other rom before you unlock it...
Search the forum on how to unlock your trophy

Hi there,
yesterday I tried to root my HTC desire using unrevoked3 under Linux. It worked so far, phone was rooted and the Clockmod Recovery was installed. But when I switched the phone off and and tries to boot again, only the white startscreen with the HTC logo appeared and sometimes it vibrates, but even after waiting for a while, nothing more happens.
The ROM-version is 2.33.161.2 (branded by Vodafone Germany), hboot's version is 0.93.0001.
Can you help my getting my phone running again? If it's possible I would like to have the default rom, in best case unrooted.
Best regards,
WebRe

hold volume down and press power, select recovery from the list and flash a new rom
2.33.161.2 isn't branded as it's the Vodafone UK vendor code. Everyone here on it is saying there's no branding...not that I'm on it as my phone has always been unbranded

Okay, I just wanted to say that the Vodafone version was installed.
I successfully installed CyanogenMod now, but when trying to install the original HTC or even the Vodafone ROMs, the installation aborts. Sometimes it says "assert failed: file_getprop(...)" and aborts installation with "Status 7", sometimes it just says ""Can't open update_rom.zip (bad)" ...
Hi there,
i have the official Mango on my HTC Trophy and wanted to flash back to 7004. It was working fine everytime BEFORE i installed the HTC Update (got update notification after Mango installation).
No matter what stock ROM i try to flash i always receive [ERROR 226] Flash Write Error.
The ROMs i tried are the ones ansar provided (it worked hundred times before):
RUU_Spark_Vodafone_DE_1.09.162.00_Radio_5.50.09.15_22.23.50.09U_by_ansar
RUU_Spark_Vodafone_DE_1.10.162.06_Radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50.10U_by_ansar
Is there anything i can do about or am i stucked at Mango from now on? I've noticed that the bootloader got quite a huge version upgrade (from 4.06 to 5.0)
HTC Trophy (not Verizon), Vodafone DE branded.

the only one way to downgrade is making Goldcard for Stock Rom Flashing
Actually, you could just try rolling back to a restore point using the Zune software. If ound that this restored the previous bootloader on my phone, and I was then able to run the flashing tool.
Thank you!
I haven't even considered this for whatever reason. Will try it today
Edit: I'm back to Pre-Nodo
Edit2: The Bootloader is still at the latest version (5.0). So i can't flash RSPL/HSPL :-/
AFAIK the HTC update overwrites HSPL, so you cannot use HSPL anymore until DFT releases a new version.

For downgrade SPL you can try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1279905
Thank you guys.
I am currently updating to mango again (found an old 7008 backup). If ansars method to update to mango (with keeping chevron) fails i will try the downgrade again by removing the RUU_signed.nbh file.
Thanks again!
Pretty new to this but I've deceided to upgrade my desire s to ics. I unlocked to bootloader via the instructions on the HTC dev site(did i need to do that). Went ok but when i tried to update to the wwe ics ruu it failed, came back 'ICS RUU security fail - update fail' error message 155- the blurb saying it could be the wrong rom or it's too big. I've definitely got the right rom. Don't understand. Anyone got any ideas? My phone is locked to the o2 network.
Many thanks. PS it recovered ok.
Search here, then if you can't find you answer post again there, you'll get better responses.
Apologies didn't realise this was in the desire and not desire s forum. posted in a rush. I've solved it now.... it seems htc stock roms can only be installed if the bootloader is locked. I relocked it and it was fine.
tl;dr version:
I need help updating my HBOOT to version 2.00.0029
Long version:
Hi guys. Some of my relatives gave me an HTC Desire HD, which I had to "fasten up a bit", so I installed a new ROM on it. I could install TWRP on it without many problems, then everything went well in installing the new ROM and the person was happy.
Now, four months later, some other person gave me another HTC Desire HD, same model, same everything and wanted me to install the same ROM on it. So I rooted it and tried to install TWRP on it. Interestingly, I could not install the TWRP Manager from the Play Store, despite installing it on the other HTC I made four months ago.
My next try was it to install a custom recovery with the help of the ROM Manager from ClockworkMod. It installed perfectly, but I could not flash the new recovery, as it downloaded it, but failed to install, without any further info on that.
So I looked for the ADB method of doing it. After some time fighting against my PC not seeing it in the fastboot mode, I got it to be recognized. A few minutes later I found out, that I have to unlock the bootloader, and I found the EasyUnlockTool somewhere here on this forum. It detected my device instantly and said I have to update my HBOOT to version 2.00.0029, as the version 2.00.0027 cannot get the identifier token I need to unlock it.
And now I am at the point, where I do not know what to do with this device any more. The EasyUnlockTool downloads the HBOOT update, which at least is starting and finding the right phone model. It tells me, I have the Image Version 3.12.207.1 and need to update to 3.13.0.0. Here is my first concern, as in the ReadMe of the Update, the pictures (another phone model) show an update request to Dream_RUU_1.1. But the worse thing is, it cannot update it, because it says my ROM is not supported. Thus I cannot install the HBOOT update to unlock it.
Does anyone have an idea, what I could do here?
Thanks for any answer.
I have an HTC One M9 and tried to install an RUU with 6.0.0... Think is bricked... after digging a lot... the problem is I never closed or unnistalled the HTC sync manager and tried to update the software with it running, I got the advice: Get the right software for your phone, I downloaded the RUU from the official HTC page and the AT&T section, I live outside the US so OTA wasn't an option, the first attempt I got 11%, restarted phone, everthing OK, tried again, now it got till 22% but now phone is stuck in the service mode mode, the menu where I can choose: Reboot, Reboot to bootloader, etc. the phone won't boot to OS, I'm downloading this RUU http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-one-m9/general/official-att-htc-one-m9-t3380821 but since now I Can't get into the OS I don't know if the RUU will recognize the phone to update, please help me how to restore my phone or how to install the RUU from download mode or whatever.
My phone is stock, S-on, Locked, don't know why the software status now shows: Modified*** Bootloader is lock, have never done nothing to the phone, I was running Lollipop.
Thanks in advance.
It says modified because someone borked the process when trying to root it so now the phone thinks it's rooted so the update wont take. Stynk manager might be able to reflash it but if not you'll need the original ruu.exe for the version you were at or later.
