URGENT!!! No SIMCARD detected

Hi everyone,
I have a Xperia Arc (LT15i), and I have a problem. Since yesterday, my phone didn't recognize any SIMCARD. It's locked to Vodafone Spain and BL is locked too.
I saw that my Xperia Arc doesn't boot...and I've flashed FIX Fota Bricked Pack for unlocked Bootloaders...and my Bootloader is locked...since this...No SIM Card detected...and no signal...incl one SIM for Vodafone SPAIN.
Any solution????
If I downgrade from ICS to GB with Flashtool it's possible to fix this problem...or what else???? Any ROM for fix this problem??? PC Companion and SEUS said me that my software is up 2 date...and didn't repair...

Try flashing a stock ROM using the flashtool and report back.

Where can I download Stock Rom? What Stock ROM? ICS or GB?

From the stickys in general, and I would go with ICS.

I've flashed various ICS stock ROMS...and the problem is the same...Insert SIMCard and restart the phone...
I've used Flashtool 0.9...is there any problem with this version?
Please...any solution? Is my phone dead?

Today I've used SEUS to Update from GB to ICS...and the problem is the same. Still saying...No SIMCARD detected, only emergency calls...or...insert SIM CARD and restart the phone...
What can i do?

And the result is the same...SIM CARD not detected, only emergency calls.

Maybe try put another sim card into your phone and/or your sim card into another phone to test.

I put the SIM on another phone...and SIM seems to be functionally!!! But the same SIM in Xperia Arc nope!
I'll tried anothers SIMS in arc and the result is the same...

After reading many webs...I believe that I found the solution...
Just in this forum...there is a thread with No sim card detected and Emergency Calls...after many tries...solution is Omnius Server and Unlock by certificate replacement. I bought a Single Android License Unlock...tonight I'll try this...if it's resolves my problem, xperia arc will be my phone...if not...BRICK ARC WITH MY HANDS!!! Muahahahahahahaha...

I unlocked it with omnius. I bought a Single Android License Unlock.
Now, it doesn't recognise the sim card.
Could you tell me if you have solved your problem.

[Q] Xperia Arc Wont read SIM Cards

Hi there, So the other day I deiced that I was going to unroot my Xperia Arc for some reason. I didn't get a backup of my phone( Which is stupid I know). After I did the unroot my Xperia was a little messed up. It was not reading Sim cards and at one point in time go stuck in flash mode. It now has been Flashed with LT15a_2.3.3, 3.0.1.A.0.145_Rogers.ftf. Then it was updated. and Rooted. It still will not recognize any SIM card. If anyone Can help

Find a stock 587 ROM and flash that, how you've flashed a 2.3.3 and ended up with 4.0.4 is a little baffling.

Still not reading the SIM
So I flashed the stock rom and still have no signal. Also i was able to test my battery today with another Xperia Arc. Its reads full on the phone that has had nothing done to it but on mine it read at 0% and will not go up

Try downloading the APN Settings. What Baseband are you using?

Hey So no matter what Stock ROM I flash to this phone it will not read any SIM cards. I have contacted cellunlock.net and they were unable to unlock this phone. Can anyone help... this phone is useless with out being able to connect to a Mobile Carrier Network

Try to take the sim card out of the arc and then in maybe it works!

Tried that a few times and nothing,

[Q] Sim not recognized

I need help as its been 2 month i was using my note2 but last week i remove the sim and inserted it in to one of my other cell and last night when i inserted the sim again in .. the note it shows no sim card inserted msg .. i tried to insert another sim that may be the sim is not working but the same thing .. btw the note is rooted and has a customized ROM in it .. now what should i do .. should i install the stock ROM and check if the problem came from the customized rom or any other problem kindly help me out thanks in advance.

yes i double check my IMEI its the same and no i dnt have any back of EFS and one more thing what will be my Stock rom coz i dont knw which one to download i am writting what is written behind on my note 2

there is also instruction how to flash it. you can flash any ROM, but i do recommend to flash any latest ROM 2013 released.

so now i flashed the stock rom but still the same problem. any other idea . what should i do

Have you purchased it new?
Have you purchased device unlocked?
Try network unlock (find toolbox in my signature)
Ask your operator if your IMEI is banned
One possibility is physically damage sim card adopter.

thank you so much yes ur were right it was physically damage of the simcard adopter and it was due to i used nano sim jacket to make it micro and i damaged it . thank you

Build Number : JPMA2
Baseband : I8160JPMA2
and the interface says now "Enter Network Lock Control Key"
so i tried this code *#7465625# and it says :
Network Lock [ON]
Network Subset Lock [OFF]
SP Lock [OFF]
CP Lock [OFF]

Try it.

Was your phone locked to a network before you flashed TMN?

the phone came with GB "I8160JPLD6_I8160OJPLD2." so, i looked for JB so i downloaded TMN " I8160XXMC8_I8160TMNMC3_TMN"And Flashed it using odin
after that rooted the device until this point no sim card inserted yet , then my friend took the phone
and inserted the sim card ,then the phone started to ask for pin number he entered the right pin #
for more than 5 time , so i downgraded the phone to gb ,but every time u put sim card in it
ask for "network control key "

I would try getting your friend to purchase an unlock code...
i used a site but it charged around 15euro..will send you the details if you want..

If you can find a simcard that will work with the phone, then sell the phone - probably best to cut your losses

Big problem, UNKNOWN BASEBAND error after flashing modem.

Hello guys,
I have this problem, i got a note 2 from a carrier in argentina called "personal" wanted to sim unlock it so i followed the easy way
of the hidden menu " network lock " and that tutorial.. ( cant post links yet )
But it did not work cause i had 4.1.2 , so i got 4.1.1 also did not work, so i read you need VALK8 baseband to sim unlock it.
Got the VALK8 zip file, rooted note 2, installed custom recovery, installed the .zip file . and got a UNKNOWN BASEBAND djaskdsjakdasjd!
How can i fix this? need the VALK8 to get to the menu sim unlock it and then flash 4.1.2 again

Ok i installed a 4.1.1 and now i have the baseband restored to DXALJ1 i think it is asian dunno.
How can i SIM unlock this and then put 4.1.2 on it?

First of all, what model you have?
Im assume you have carrier lock model,
1)Root your phone.
2)go google play download either *galaxsim unlock* or galaxy_s unlock.
Follow the instruction as given, then you will be fine.
If I were you I will download the old time 4.1.2 stock rom such as mb2. Since you might not aware of the new samsung stability update will messing up your imei and modem.

Thanks a got the GT-N7100, the thing is i installed the galaxy sim unlock and said " buy full version to unlock"
