Hello guys!
I have a problem with my Desire HD and Leedroid 3.3.3.
First of all: I write here and not in the Leedroid thread because i'm not allowed to post there because of to few posts (minimum 10) which i don't understand because i already had 11.
Anyway. My problem is that there is always an annoying sound after the phone played a sound. When there is continous playback like mp3 all is fine.
The popping sound occurs 1 second after the playback ended. I used adb logcat to see when it happens. One line showed that the audio driver went to standby.
There was already a bug in the bug tracker but it shows as fixed since some time.
But my girlfriend has the same phone with Leedroid 3.3.1. She also has this problem.
Things i've done:
Searched the forums,
tried the Inspire 4g sound patch in the Leedroid thread (which made me almost dumb),
tried IRC,
etc...
I did a full wipe before i flashed the rom and i use the suggested radio for this rom.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Now i was able to write directly in the Leedroid thread.

Hello everyone,
I've been experiencing this problem since I flashed the latest LeeDrOiD ROM (3.0.1) and kernel (3.0.1), though I don't know if it's a ROM bug or a HTC Sense 2.1 bug.
When the energy saver is activated at 15% of battery, a notification popup appears, notifying that the energy saver is activated (it's normal till here), BUT the phone starts ringing as well ! (with the incoming calls ringtone) And it's impossible to disable the ringing unless I play another song on the music player, or shut the phone down, or receive another call/message that would make a sound. When I lower the volume, I don't hear the ringtone, but as soon as I turn it up, the ringing is still there.
I don't see such an option in the settings, and it never happened before, so do you have any idea on how to prevent this ?
The reason I'm posting here and not in the development section under Lee's thread is that I have less than 10 posts so I can't post there, though I suspect a ROM bug, since I don't remember facing this problem with Revolution HD 5.1.x which is also based on the latest HTC Sense version on Gingerbread for DHD. (but I didn't see it reported in Lee's thread either so... I don't know, really)
Thank you for your help !
Have you set this tone / tune as you default notification sound? Try changing the notification sound (of course, if other notifications don't make the same issue you can rule this out).
I haven't seen any other instances of this and didn't have this issue when I tried LeeDroid so I think it just local to your phone.
If above not work or is not relevant try re-flashing the ROM over the top without wiping anything.
If that doesn't work you may have to re-install ROM WITH a wipe of everything (you do that first, before first installing LeeDroid ROM?).
Thanks for replying. It's indeed not set as the notification sound.
The first time I flashed the 3.0.1 LeeDroid ROM, I did a full wipe, and yesterday I reflashed the ROM without re-wiping but it didn't solve the problem. I wanted to avoid having to full wipe again, but if it's the last resort... x_x
I also used No-sense ++ v1.2.3 so I think I'll reflash using the newest version 1.3 of No-sense ++, see if this changes anything..

The bug vanished after I flashed Leedroid Rom 3.0.2 and No-sense++ 1.3 (without full wipe)
Guess it was a random glitch !

Hi all, I've been having this issue that the Turbonium "tiny audio" fix no longer works after I flash a rom and I have the "tiny audio" on my telus DHD. I've tried flashing it after i've installed a rom and rebooting it and still no luck. I've tried it with other roms like leedroid, RCMix, and MDJ's. I'm all out of ideas, I do complete a clean wipe in between every rom and seems to me like it's happened recently when i've started using the newer roms. Anyways, this issue is starting to get on my nerves and hoping someone will have an answer, Thanks for your input.
As an update: i've done more research and found some people using the RCmix fixed it by flashing the turbonium fix and then adb pushing CodecDSPID.txt, but no luck for me I've been trying to bare the sound because I'm so happy using MDJ's 2.1+3.0, but i would be complete if i could have this fixed. Anyways, feel free to shout any suggestions, I'm desperate....
The update to CodecDSPID.txt was required for the Kingsdom / Sense 3.0 ROM only. The original TurboniumX fix worked fine for me on the ROMs with the old base.
What exactly are you getting when you try to apply the fix? Same tinny sound or no sound at all?
well, when i try to push the CodecDSPID.txt that you gave to killathenoob, I get no sound at all. When i flash the original turbonium, I get no change (meaning i still get the tiny audio), but as you said the original turboniumX fix worked fine with the old base, it's just suddenly i tried to use Kingdom/Sense 3.0 and MDJ's 3.0 that the turboniumX fix no longer works
hi
i installed android revolution first and it worked perfect.
now i flashed with the given script and installed leedroid and the radio , but some times i have no sound when i make a call.
best regards!
i removed the call recorded and seems its working fine now.
I removed it too. Didnt like the way it recorded every thing without asking me lol
i flashed to the latest 5th june rom plus the kernel and radio and for some odd reason the sense 3.0 is not displaying my home location weather data.
it loads the data and displays and moments later it says "no weather data available".
Hello, always went thru all the posts on the forum never really had a problem which i wasnt able to find a solution here.
As the Title states i rooted my phone with acehack and flashed 6.1.3 ARHD ROM after a while updated it 6.1.4 after a superwipe everything was working perfectly fine on the 11th i updated to 6.1.5 the entire i couldn't receive any call i got nor call anyone and they weren't getting any SMS i sent them either i fixed it by flashing the same ROM again but now the Phone has become so laggy it takes me 19 to 22 sec to open camera nothing has been changed after 6.1.4.
Is there a fix for this? i require it badly i deleted 6.1.4 ROM from Harddisk not able to find it here to flashing it,I tried to post this question in the ARHD thread but i dont have 10 posts
Hi all!
I've been using custom ROMs for a while now, and have always found the answers somewhere on these forums. As a "noob" and thus not being able to post in the development forum, I have to ask this question here. Actually the Desire development forums were the only part I had visited up until now...
Yesterday I installed Runnymede AIO v4.0.1 on my Desire and it's a great ROM. It runs very smoothly and I don't have any problems with it, except when using whatsapp. Whatsapp is... at most times completely unresponsive. It takes at least 30 seconds to open the application when it's running. Then opening the contact takes another 10 seconds and sending or receiving messages is nearly impossible. When the other person is writing a message whatsapp just freezes and I can't even use the onscreen keyboard.
I tried another full wipe, reinstalling whatsapp... but it doesn't make a difference. My question is if someone else has a solution to this problem?
In the Runnymede AIO thread I noticed two other posts describing a similar problem:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=20904609&highlight=whatsapp#post20904609
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=20822901&highlight=whatsapp#post20822901
As Whatsapp is very important to me, I would really like to fix this but I'm out of ideas. Later today I will do a nandroid backup of the current ROM and revert to my previous nandroid backup of Insertcoin v1.1.4 until there is a fix. Never had these problems with whatsapp before...
FYI: Running first type Desire GSM (bravo) with amoled, PVT1 S-OFF, latest 4Ext recovery, CM7r2 hboot with XD2SDX and 1024 MB ext4 on a 16 GB Class 4 microSD.
Thanks in advance for any help!
bump
Anyone?
i really have no idea.
works like a charm for me.
uninstall the app then re-install it.or you could try clearing the apps cache first ..or try unchecking hboot some apps dont like it ..
edit you could also try looking here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=764163
Thanks for your input.
Today I took the time to wipe everything again and installed v5.1 SE.
Installed Whatsapp from Market and had it import the previous messages. Everything seemed fine and it was working ok for about half an hour. Then the same problems as before started to appear. First typing was slow, then whatsapp became unresponsive and eventually I just gave up trying to even use it.
Nandroid backupped everything and went back to IC 1.1.4 again...
By unchecking hboot, do you mean unchecking fastboot?
I haven't tried that yet, but will tonight. Right now I just really need whatsapp to work properly
I have the same problem. Response is very slow only with whatsapp but once I Clear all the convers it works fine. When I get alot of msgs it gets slower and slowe until it gets very difficults to use.
My device is desire hd with the same room.
