Hello
I have the Desire Z and bluetooth headset Plantronics Voyager 520
Desire unfortunately Android did not see this headset (i tried many roms) - if anyone knows how to make Desire (android) work with this voyager 520?
This bluetooth headset work with the HTC TyTN II correctly.
I can still pair it with him.
greetings
Sorry for my bad English....
Are you turning blutooth on your desire first and then turning on your plantronics after blutooth on phone is fully up? Might help, I know I have to do that when connecting to my motorola T505 hands free adapter
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA Premium App
yes.. i turn on bluetooth device in android (desire) first.. waiting when devices start and after that i turn on headset. (My bluetooth is in scan mode and visible, but I've done a lot of combinations of scanning and wisible mode) in that moment (theoretically) headset send packages via bluetooth to phone (pairing packages)... but unfortunately my desire dont see this headset...
I read on a website, that desire is another version of bluetooth
than in the headset.
but I can not find the patch for (bluetooth) desire Z.

Hi
When I was using the Xda II I was using 2 difrrent bluetooth an Sony Ericsson Headset and the Parrot 3300 Car kit and I had no problem.
When I disconnected from one I could connect with they another a via reversol no issue.
I now use an Xda Exec with the same profile and it ok so I cannot see why you are having any problems.

Hello all, this is my first post after a long time viewing this great forum.
I was wondering, could the HTC Desire be turned into a wireless audio receiver with A2DP? My stereo bluetooth headset died recently, and I got used to watching movies on the PC while using them as headphones. So I was wondering if it was possible to turn the phone into a receiver in the same manner.
If it's not possible, is it a hardware limitation?
Thanks.
+1 for this thread,
-Even i was looking for same app ,so that i can connect my desire to my laptop using bluetooth and use it as a wireless head phone.
-I lost my head phone too, I have Desire's hands free , i was wondering if i could use it as a head set..for my pc through bluetooth..!!

I've tried searching for any input on this subject, but I couldn't find any real info about it.
We know the Desire can transmit stereo over A2DP, and can receive mono when you are talking with a BT device. But does this indicate the ability to receive stereo over A2DP? I hope there is no hardware limitation for that.
If it is possible, I guess an application would act like an A2DP device, so that the BT software on the PC would recognize it as such. I'm really hoping to see such a feature, or at least to know if it's possible.
I've been using this bluetooth headset for years with my Windows Mobile phones and it worked flawlessly. Now I cannot connect it to my new Samsung Galaxy S2, the LED of the headset turns red when I try to connect it to my Samsung. Did anybody succeed in doing so?
And does anybody have a manual for this headset? Apparently I lost my pdf.
Thanks in advance!
I have a strange Bluetooth issue: I can't even find my Bluetooth headset with my HTC One X.
But the Bluetooth headset works perfectly - I can easily find it with my HTC Desire or any other phone.
The headset itself of-course is in pairing-state.
Might this be due to only Bluetooth 2.0 capability of my headset?
As you know HTC One X has Bluetooth V 4.0. Is this backwards compatible to Bluetooth 2.0?
Anyone else experiencing such issues?

It's supposed to be. But as we all have experienced at one time or another BT is an imperfect technology. I've been lucky. All my BT devices work fine. The One X actually connects much faster to previously connected devices than my i9100 did. I have a BlueAnt Q2 and confirm it works fine.
Once you do get a headset connected you'll find HTC didn't include a native ICS voice dialer. All the APK's I've found don't work. The only way I've found so far to initiate a BT call from the headset is to use Vlingo in In Car mode. Hopefully a dev will come up with a working BT dialer.
Good luck.
Argh, my Bluetooth headset was quite cheap (~30 €), and is a no-name brand (bought about 2 years ago)
Bluetooth connection from One X to Desire works flawless.
Maybe I'll buy a new headset from a well-known brand ...
Or any other ideas?
try a reset of the phone? that seems to help in a lot of cases. also, any other bluetooth connections already in place? may want to try removing them before doing the reset. i have a much older bluetooth headset that will pair with my one x. and a newer one that pairs. both useless for voice dialing without an intermediary app, but the newer one seems to work well with a paid app (enhanced sms and caller id) that will identify callers and also read sms messages. getting there.
Hmm, reset is just my 'ultima ratio' ...
Will only try it, when I get not other solution ...
Any other ideas?
Anyone got one of these working with note2?
Mine pairs but I have no call audio.

I got an almost working Voyager Legend with my N7100, is the second one because the first had the same problem (disconnected from the phone, did not get audio feedback when pressing buttons). Same story with this one. The service guy said it's a problem with the Note 2, he said they tested 20 headsets with the note and got the same result , so...bad news
Plantronics Voyager Pro HD GTN-7100 Call Disconnects
I have Plantronics Voyager Pro HD (Firmware Version 97) and Samsung Galaxy Note II (GTN-7100 Android version 4.1.2) working together but ...
continually experience call disconnect so I stopped using for phone calls. Good sound for mono listening to YouTube. I now use an older, cheaper headset for calls. This problem is reported on Plantronics support site for several phones e.g Voyager Pro HD 'disconnecting' audio for phone calls but not other sounds http://soundingboard.plantronics.com/thread/35967 and also on Amazon Customer Reviews › "disconnect" › Plantronics Voyager Pro HD

Other people are delighted with this headset so it may be partly related to connecting to more than one phone at a time.
One thing to try is Clear data in Settings > (Device) Application manager > All > Bluetooth share & LogsProvider

Another solution may be to update your firmware and try turning off Smart Sensors.

Alternative suggestions point to WiFi as the source of the problem - try turning WiFi off.
Cheers
