Miui phone mute

Is anyone else having an issue where the phone mute does not work. I had the mute on earlier but the other person could still here me. I tried again to make sure and it was not working right for me.

I have not had this problem and I've been on multiple builds of MIUI since around April. What kernel and radio are you using?
I've ran incredikernel (the stable one), and both the inc stock radio and the evo radio 04.08 and have had no problems.
One thing I have seen is that you should turn on "Third-party access" in phone settings to alleviate some errors and quirks when it comes to phone. Let me know how it goes!

[Q] Vibrate turns itself off?! MIUI ROMS (XJ & Au)

Using the latest version of MIUI-XJ a2sd+ and for some reason after about a week of use, 'it' unchecks vibrate when in silent mode. Very annoying! I can change it back, but 'it' just changes it again...weird?
The only thing i can think of having changed here would be using the tiamat kernel. So i'm going to use the cyanogen kernel and see if it continues..but in the mean time, does anyone have any idea why this is happening? Its ruining my MIUI/Desire experience and having only recently upgraded from my hero to a 2nd hand desire, this is making me quite 'upset', for want of a better word.
Oh and I really don't know if this would make a difference, but sometimes when using sense roms the haptic feedback on the htc-ime turns off for a short while...could this be something wrong with the hardware?
Thanks
So, reverting to the stock cyanogen kernel didn't fix it..so its nothing to do with tiamat, has no one else experienced this?
I'm working around it by having it on a very low volume...

Stock ROM, no root. No in call audio?

Hey guys. So yea I recently just got my replacement phone two days ago. Tmo pushed an update to my phone, and now I lost my in-call audio. The weird thing is my mic works, rendering me only able to talk on speakerphone. Which is embarrassing around my friends haha. So yea I guess I have a few questions. 1) anyone know what the **** happened and how I can fix it? 2)Should I just root it and flash a newer, better ROM? Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance
If it's completely stock why not just call tmobile

Have you tried a battery pull? You would be amazed that a fresh reboot fixes. If that doesn't work get a replacement. Don't bother rooting a improperly working phone.....

[Q] Still having issues with Freezing.

Hi again,
I mega wiped my phone with zoots script, managed to get back to stock with no root and everything fresh, I upgraded to 4.1.2.. And i'm still having freezing issues... Its really really fustrating, i just want to be able to actually use my phone for its purpose.
Freezes occur when I download apps that dont come with stock... Its really annoying...
Is it the hardware (eg send it away and get it sorted)?
Or Something up with the firmware?
Im just looking for advice to work my way round this god awful problem...
Thanks in advance,
T
Sounds like a hardware issue.

Random sluggish performance that requires reboot?

Hello everyone. I've been experiencing a problem lately that has me scratching my head. The phone for no reason and at random times because super sluggish like the frame rate or something is super low.. It seems to be most apparent in the launcher.. It happens at random even if the phone is cool or hot. Happens on touchwiz launcher as well as nova launcher.. Clearing ram and open apps doesn't work... The only thing that makes the phone go back to normal is a reboot. This also happens on any custom ROM. With stock or custom kernel.. So.is this a CPU hardware problem? Has anyone else had this happen? It's already been happening quite often and its becoming annoying. Factory resets don't solve it either as it comes back randomly. If anyone can shed some light please do.

I would contact T-Mobile it could be a phone problem if you are seing it after an Odin back to stock. That would be my only suggestion is an Odin back but since you already did that I would see about getting the phone switched out

How could I prove to them that this is worthy of a warranty replacement? I can't seem to reproduce the problem.. It just happens..I thought Odin would solve the problem too but then it just randomly happened

Explain to tmobile what's happening and let them know you want a new device. they are very easy to work with and tmobile won't make you prove anything. Ive been with tmobile for ten years now. Trust me they are easy to work with if you explain the situation and let them know it clearly interferes with your ability to use the device as it should be used. You should have ZERO problems with returning the device. By the way sounds like your device DOES have serious problems so id call tmobile as soon as possible. They MIGHT try trouble shooting it FIRST as this is procedure they HAVE to follow simply let them know after trouble shooting that your issue IS STILL PRESENT and they will exchange your device for a new one without issue...so call them asap. You won't have any trouble. You will see. They are very EASY to work with so NO WORRIES. Call and get your device exchanged NOW. Hope this helps you out. I've had a LOT of expirence working with tmobile. It won't be a problem. Youll see. Best wishes to you and hope you get this matter resolved today.

I'll have to agree here. I've had many issues over the years (anyone remember the LG G2X?), and they will stand by you. Sometimes you have to squawk loudly, but they want you to be happy...
Unlike Sprint.....I hate Sprint
Edit: If you're not happy with their response, just escalate it to Customer retention...they have the real power.
I had bad lag when I was trying to text, send an email, or anything involving using the keyboard. I flashed a ROM thinking that would take care of the issue . It didnt, still had hang ups and lag. I flashed back to stock and received a new phone and havent had an issue yet.
