Mail formatting settings? - Desire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone know how to change the font type of an email? Any settings for that?
Also when I reply to an email, can I set it back to rich text or html?
Need to change my signature.

How do you change the default outgoing font for email?

Surely I can't be the only one that hates that the font my phone outputs via email is Times New Roman.
How do you change the default font outputted by both Gmail and HTC email?
Anyone? Seems like a phone thing more than an app thing.
I know I am not seeing the email I send. That's not the point though.

Did you ever find the answer to this?
It's better to ask a question again than post a topic but at least you searched.
I'm pretty sure HTC email and Gmail use the default system font so if you change that you'll have a new font for email or Gmail.

[Q] GMail v2.3.5 - Change Sounds?

Uhhh...wtf guys?!
How come there is no setting in Gmail App to change the sound when you get a new e-mail?
Looks like they have split up the "Settings" area in to "General" and "@gmail.com".
But when I go to each of these sections, there is nothing to change the sound of when I get a new e-mail.
This is highly annoying!!!! Please help me out!!
Thanks, th3gh05t
menu.more.settings.under account settings.touch [email protected] to bottom.touch labels to notify.touch inbox.
Wow, why did they make it so hard to find now?
I guess it's better since it lets you have different sounds for Labels, and accounts...

[Q] Developer request.....

I was a Inc 1 user and asked a few times for this but it was like no one understood what i was asking for. i was wondering if its possible or if a developer would take the challenge of altering the stock sms/mms apk so that a preview of the message doesnt show up in the notification bar. I know Go SMS and Handcent have the option of showing "new message recieved" instead of showing the text contents in a privacy setting but i would like to keep the stock messaging app. puhlease someone. it would be greatly appreciated....

not so sure what u mean, or if it's possible, why not try handcent or go sms? I know u want stock, but may be the only way,
If you go under Settings>Privacy, it gives you 1 or 2 options. I'm not so sure since I'm using newtoroot's Sense 3.5 ROM and that may or may not be different from what you're using. (yes, I'm advertising a Rom, and yes, you should totally go for this rom.)
Handcent SMS does this. You can disable the preview per contact or just in general. You would disable the notifications in your normal SMS app and then set it so that Handcent is the only app that does notifications for SMS and if you disable the preview feature, it will just say "XXX-XXX-XXXX text you" or something like that
I've used handcent and am currently go sms. Was just curious if there was a way to do it for the stock. Guess it cant be done.

[Q] HTML in stock email app?

Does anyone know if there is an option to display HTML in an email with the stock email app? When I get an email that contains html I see the html code. I'm pretty sure I was able to switch this to show the HTML in other device's stock email app. Is there not an option for it with the E4gT email app?

I am interested in this too, no replies

[Q] Can built in email application reply and keep HTML formatting?
