jdivic and me made a fix for wakeup lag on AUO panels but it needs more testing. We tested it on two devices with AUO panels and the wakeup lag should be reduced to the level of sharp ones.
I have attached the diff file and CWM update zip with modified Rafpigna 1.9OC kernel (non GB).
If you currently use Rafpigna kernel please try this version and report back.
Please report the wakeup time and type of panel.
Type of panel can be found with:

thats realy great! but can it be flashed to typhoon rom with tytungs kernel?
Nice idea, will test
I don't think so, but for real I don't know. This is Raf's kernel for froyo, and is built for test purposes. If it will be confirmed working, I'm sure that tytung, raf and other kernel builders will incorporate our changes in their new bulids.
make it for clk GB and u got me as tester
WOW man! It works! Thank you guys.
As in screen wake up?
I'm running an AUO panel;
<4>[ 1.526947] panel type is 1 :board id is 4 : AUO
but on typhoon CM7 . . . . any chance you could compile for that build, I would think there are a lot of typhoon users who would appreciate this

Is there any possibility to do the same for tytung's kernel ?
Or would reading the diff help doing the same/similiar with tytung's kernel ?

Last question , what do you think how long will it take you to try to fix the same @ tytung's kernel
note that 99 % new roms are on "tytung's kernel v10"
If you need beta testers I think there are plenty of them here, including me.
Should be possible to "update" the kernel via cwr then.

I think it is one of the oldest part of the code, and I think it is just the same in all kernels, so, change to tytung kernel... it would take more time to pull the git repository and to compile it then to apply the change ...

Could somebody tell me what advantages this kernel has over tk-glitch?
Kernel based on tytungs r11 (all credits to him) see changelog for improvements
Differences:
-Removed reiser fs and btrfs filesystems useless for most users.
-No default USB tether.
-No need for custom vold(usb notifcations)
-Fixes
For the rest all the same features.
I will continue to add changes. But to add more changes I need user feedback first of the latest kernel. Plan is to update the kernel every 1-7 days. And keep or remove commits based on user feedback.
Attachment is for Magldr flash in cwm.
For clk extract package and use fastboot commands.

No he didnt handed them over to me. I keeped tytungs name for the kernel just as respect for him since my work is very minimal. Thanks for the suggestions I will use them in the next release my plan is just to spend more time to improve the kernel by using general android kernel and cm fixes.
And about wifi calling the module and kernel support is included apart from reiser fs and btrfs you should have everything what tytungs kernel has.
ok
oh yeah, hastarin's name should be there since Markinus branch was modded by Hastarin, then Tytung modded Hastarins final 8.6 kernel ( back in the SD build days)
no idea where Hastarin is nowadays though..
great...but I dfound out that tytungs kernel 11 has some serious mobile network connection issues....almost everytime the device turns the screen off and enters sleep state, connection is lost, after waking up, I need to enter PIN to start radio again...maybe you could fix that too
(I am on clk)
nice work m8!
I would love to have a variant of the tytung's kernel for the GB Sense builds with working BT Headset.
Also the OC limit could be pushed further than 1190mhz.
tested on Hyperdroid CM7 Honeybadger (2.3.4) and originally from Tytung r10
WIFI works
3G works , for now until I get to test that complaint regarding timeout during screenoff
Default Smartass will test battery drain and performance across next 24 hours
screen delay was fixed on mine, its so fast that if u keep pressing it , the screen blinks only for a bit
thanks mate

- Sense Customization settings closes without launching the customization app
INSTALL PROCEDURE
MAGLDR partition sizes - Use Last 24mb NAND - 5/330/10
Install the rom as normal with CWM
Reboot and wait for the rom to finish first boot and complete the HTC wizard, wait a couple of minutes at the launcherpro desktop, you may config wifi and some settings but DO NOT add any accounts to accounts and sync.
Reboot
Flash the Data2SD in CWM
Reboot
Install Superuser from the market
I had to strip "everything" I could to get this rom to boot with enough NAND data space to function before rebooting again to install data2sd. I had 22mb data space left on my first boot.
Enjoy

C. Figure out why removing the A2SD+ from the sense 3.5 runny roms released here completely breaks them.

And remember to enable use last 24 nand in magldr under services.

So your thinking this could be fixed in a .32 kernel if someone could figure out why the .35 kernel fixes it by finding the missing part ?
I am simply hoping soon Dorimanx might dev a .35 kernel with his performance modifications, I think he just needs time.
Just an update on this rom, the latest zram script by Dorimanx is clashing with this roms oom settings, I am going to work on tweaking it. I will post an updated zram script for this ROM once I am satisfied with the settings.

yes, that is what i want to say, I think that should has possible be fix. but if someday DM decide to coding .35 ... well, I thought we put it away temporary and try our best for cooking rom first, and if possible then we could try to fix and coding kernel together. because kernel builder not to many but have lot of chefs, so i thought maybe we should join to kernel part to find out the bugs.

Can you get me the last_kmsg file??
It is present in /proc folder. You can access it using any file manager.
A quick fix you can try. Flash the 3.0.50 kernel attached with this post and then reboot. and then reflash the attached advanced sense kernel.
It might help. But remeber to extract the last_kmsg file before doing all this.
And if reboot occurs, try to get me a logcat too.

3.0.6x kernels compiled sources @ thachtunganh, have a problem with installing the "system" as R/W.
The only thing so far, the solution that I could find, then flash the kernel 3.0.50 or 3.0.55 and later kernel v3.0.6x.
Then the "system" can be installed under R/W.
@Torxx also mentioned this in a thread about ViperDHD.
@ajhavery - you know which switch in the config is responsible for the "FastCharge"?

Here are the line you need to add:

I was thinking of starting a new thread with your compiled kernels.
And if you give me your github address then I could commit a few things too.
what's your opinion on that?
Using this kernel with viperZ no problems so far. Will try for some days to see about battery life and see if there might be some problems occure.
Thanks

Sure.
Receive PM.
greetings
q.
good test now....
When you run the application "Fast Charge" and it turned on, after a few seconds, plug in the USB cable and the screen appears in the "Power Source" - USB.
And I think there should be "AC" - am I right?
Otherwise the trick will not work with USB FastCharge.

Could this one solve my problem with my BT heaset (Jabra EasyGo) which is OK in GB roms, but not with ICS+ ?
In ICS roms (3.x kernels) only audio streaming and buttons wokrs, but no sound in calls...
And after being used to ICS I am quite p***ed off by having to downgrade to GB just because I am driving often and I need the headset

Kindly wait till then.
Andromeda Kernel
Supported: SM-N910F & SM-N910V
Do not try to flash this on ANY other variant than the N910F (Snapdragon, European)! It might work, but it can fail and end in a bootloop! Testers for SM-N910G wanted!

Frequently asked Questions (FAQ)
Or Questions and answers, since this thread is new.
Q: Can this be flashed on the Exynos Note 4?
A: No, by no means. The Exynos model is completely incompatible, sorry.
Q: And what about other Snapdragon versions?
A: I can't advise to do that, it's untested and might not work. If you know how to handle bootloops and can remove my kernel if it doesn't boot, then you can always try it and tell me how it went. More variants would be awesome.
Q: Yikes, this kernel is too close to stock! What about more features?
A: More features will be included, please check the changelog preview. You can also request features and track the progress. I will make a section on this thread to display the feature request and write if I look at them, make them or - and that might happen - reject them.
- To be updated..
Known Issues / Fixes
Bootloop if you have Viper4Android installed and flashed Andromeda over it
Fix: Uninstall Viper, install Andromeda and then reinstall.
If this issue persists in my future builds, then I'll add an automated script to remove Viper4Android upon installation of the kernel.

Still on kk? Samsung is slower than I thought lol... Thanks for letting me know, edited the thread. Probably better to try it when G receives official 5.0
Seems like a great Kernel, good luck buddy
Going to test on my n910t after work. Ktoonsez is the only booting kernel so far for TW5.0 but we have a data issue
Welcome thanks for the work: Bueno:

Hi, yes of course you can! We are actually working on deeper and more exclusive support for SimpleRom too. Stay tuned for version 2.1, it will be awesome
My kernel is much closer to the stock base, so you might get some more performance squeezed out - especially if you select Intelliactive as your governor - but at the cost of battery. I'm still not so big on features, the last couple of days my compiler decided to give me a hard time :crying:
Only 910F for now though!
this kernel is the best one for note 4 it is soo fast
nadia kernel not good lag soo much

I'm not part of their Team, but Pafcholini is teaching me Don't worry, this kernel is not a clone of Nadia. My newest and upcoming build is as fluent as the last one and the batterylife is holding up a ton better too. No compromises on either side, thats my motto!

Haha, I know what you mean I love the compliment, but I know as well as you do, that Nadia doesn't lag, unless the Synapse settings are set wrong. Too bad that my attempts at Synapse aren't going so great atm..

Yes, it is. I don't know what changes Sammy made to the BOC3 kernel yet, so mine might be a bit slower than the BOC3 stock one. But it works with the version just fine
Andromeda Stable 1.0 released!
Good evening everyone,
it took me a while, but I present you the first Stable build of Andromeda!
Changelog
- FauxSound 3.6 fully integrated
- IntelliPlug 4.0
- Enhancements and battery optimizations (mainly centered around powersuspend and adaptations to the default interactive governor)
- Renamed the Kernel in the settings, the last one was a disaster
- 57% Support with KControl currently (Playstore App)

About the Overclocking and Synapse...
I originally intended to include both in this build, but it will still need much more time and work and I didn't want to keep you away from the great upgrades I made in this version, so those two goodies will come later. I can highly recommend trying TricksterMod and KControl, both from the PlayStore.
And a very special announcement...
Perhaps the biggest change is that I recently joined "Team Simple - Simply Awesome" cool and will contribute an adapted version of the Andromeda kernel to SimpleRom, starting with the very close release of it's 2.1 Build. We planned something special - FauxSound is only the cherry on the Audiophile package inbuilt, so be very excited for whats coming up and be sure to try SimpleRom, especially the upcoming 2.1 version!
Oh, btw. I will also open a thread for the SimpleKernel once the Rom is released, to provide an optimized yet very close to stock experience! And there are also plans for an Exynos Build (the N910C), but I need some help with the Exy, so if anyone could lend me a hand, it would be highly appreciated! Now I understand why most devs settle for the Snapdragon..
