Brain Cube - another nice game - Windows Phone 7 General

Found another pleasant game called Brain Cube. It's from Ximad, the same ones behind Droplets and Bubble Birds from WinMo. Brain Cube is also on Android.

Looks pretty fun
looks great. love how lifting the phone changes the camera view.
I love tower defense games, this is definitely gonna be one of the first games I buy

Fable Coin Golf, suprisingly fun and addictive

I just have to say wow, I mean this game is awesome. In all of the windows phone 7 lineup I'd say this game is only second to ilomilo. The premise is pretty simple, you take your puck, and in as few shots as possible make it past any array of goblins, skeletons, trees, whatever they might throw at you while collecting coins along the way. Sounds simple and boring but once you get to the later levels in the game it really becomes challenging to get that gold coin. Before I tried this I thought I'd be holding out for Super Monkey Ball next week before I picked up another Xbox live title. I was proven wrong, if you're not a big app purchaser I'm sure it will go down in price eventually but if you don't mind throwing out a couple of bucks for a game then this is awesome.
Playability- 10/10, the controls are amazing the geometry behind it is flawless and the game itself has a fun overtone with the narrators.
Replay value- 6/10, I could definitely play through this and come back for a round two after mastering it. I'm not putting it down until I've finished it 100 percent though.
Xbox live integration- 4/10, I love that I can transfer my gold over but if you're past the early levels of Fable 3 the amounts of money you'll make through this game really aren't that considerable... maybe throw in some special gear if we get certain achievements or something but the money... just seems like a cheap afterthought.
Overall- 9/10, the game is awesome but they always leave you expecting more when they promise integration with the associated xbox 360 game. Regardless though this game is definitely worth the purchase and I'd recommend it to anyone.
I downloaded the demo and I have to say, it was quite fun and I don't care for Fable at all. The game itself is just very well done, looks great, and is just plain fun.
I'll take a look at it in a bit

Ace of Dynamites - Outstanding

I found another super fun and simple game. Perfect for smartphone platforms. It reminds me a tiny bit of Tomb Raider. It is very enjoyable. To me, in the early stages, it is excellently easy, which is what I prefer to pass time by. I hate hard and complex games on a smartphone. This is not hard nor complex.
By the way, in case you are wondering, to detonate the dynamite, tap the explosion icon at the top left of the screen.

Dynamic Perspective Games?

So what are the best games that make use of dynamic perspective? Amazon must have released some titles?
Good question. Didn't find so far. There is no real use of the dynamic perspective imo...
LL&P
There is Saber's Edge, To-Fu Fury, Lost Within (nice price tag, ouch), Clay Doodle, and Monkey Buddy (see and judge for yourself ^^).
But my favorite one is Battery Drain Simulator 2014, in which you set up a 3D lock screen scene and crank the brightness up to the max and stare at it until you need to connect the charger.
Clay Doodle and Monkey Buddy were stock games on my phone, they suck imo.
I don't know the 3 others but i'll give them a try
Edit: To-Fu Fury looks pretty funny, price 1,99€ is ok but Lost Within 6,99€??? Holy **** x_O
Another game that use the Fire Phone Dynamic Perspective is Til Morning's Light, priced at $6.99.
Hahaha... Clay doodle was just weird and monkey buddy was freaky... both of those were deleted as soon as I opened the app and found out what they were about... I don't want to be tapping a monkey until I get achievements!
looks like most of the games are just sorta dynamic perspective added on and not really good... Guess that's one of the reasons why the phone didn't do too well. Sorta reminds me of how the 1st gen kinect didn't really work so well either.

Don't forget the Fire Phone was the first phone which supported dynamic perspective and I think it was really cool at a time. Sadly it isn't really useful...
Fallout: Shelter uses dynamic perspective to look around each vault room. cheers

Actually I'm sure fallout just uses the gyro sensor not dynamic perspective. That's the problem: dynamic perspective essentially mimics the gyro but tilting the phone to effect the gyro is easier and more sensible than wobbling and tilting your head!
Most of the Amazon studio games like til morning light etc use dynamic perspectIve, as does rocket robo, Lili, fractal x.
Bridge Constructor is also "dynamic Perspective" enabled, Looks great.

Just checked out bridge constructor medieval. Dynamic perspective support is there but as usual I find tilting the phone works better than moving my head which renders the whole thing pointless. Might as well just use the gyro.

TOP 5 games NOTE 10 +

What are your top 5 games that you play on your Note 10+?
Plague Inc
Super Hexagon
Thumper
PinOut (best pinball game on android! imo)
RAID: Shadow Legends
I've been playing:
Call of Duty Mobile
AdventureQuest 3D
Bladebound
Arena of Valor
Rangers of Oblivion
and then of course the PPSSPP emulator with God of War, Metal Gear Solid, Kingdom Hearts, etc (def need an external controller though: https://amzn.to/2kkhmvH)
My all top favorite game is
Archero
Best grinding and challenging game
The elder scrolls legend
Drastic
Mario kart
epsxe
Final fantasy ix
Super Mecha Champions
Zgirls 2
Cyber Hunter
Perfect World
Astral Chronicles
I play my Xbox games on my Note 10+ via the Streaming service, no need for paying double or ad ridden games.
COD
PUBG
mobile games are just that. I'm not sure why publishers are pushing DQ, COD, DeadSpace, FF games on us. If I want those, I'd rather play on the consoles. And did someone say Raid? LOL, how much are they paid for shilling that crap?
When you have to attach an xbox controller, then what's the point? might as well play it on the xbox. Oh, so you're waiting in line at the DMV with an xbox controller attached to the phone? Y tho? are you honing your MLG skills for the next tourney?
my suggestions for the top 5:
1. Any of the Sonic games.
Great for the nostalgia nerds. Easy to understand: go from left to right, collect rings and avoid traps, pitfalls, spikes. Yes, this is basically a console port, which I just *****ed about but the simple graphics and easy controls and simple gameplay makes this an exception to the rule.
2. Skyforce Reloaded or Air Attack 2
Honestly, any smups (shoot'm ups) are great. Simple controls, easy pick up and put away when waiting in line
3. Golf Peaks or Ok Golf or Mini Golf 3D
everyone hates golf, but these games are pretty neat in their own right.
4. Alto's Odyssey or Alto's Adventure or Ski Safari 2 (Ski Safari 2 AT)
great games especially when paired with a headphone. The calming music and simple controls will put you in a relaxed mood, especially when the line doesn't move.
5. Paper Monster or Leo's Fortune or Oddmar
For those who like the platform style of gaming, these games are great. Even today, Leo's Fortune's graphics hold up well.
honorable mention:
Pocket Build or Pocket City or Minecraft or Stardew Valley
good graphics and enjoyable games for those who like to build and miss those SimCity type games. Stardew Valley is fun, it's one of those games where you will pick it up randomly and start playing just about anywhere. Minecraft, no introduction needed.
I tried the FPS games but they are laughable. Controls are convoluted and they don't even support game pads. Besides, even having the biggest phone screen in the industry, it pales to a console hooked up to an 85" screen. I'm not that desperate where I need my COD fix while on in public. I can wait until I get home, relax on the couch and play enjoy the KD on the consoles. you can't really hold your phone and quickly run, aim and toss a grenade at the same time. precision counts when you're going against someone. That's why they took a way the controller support, those with controllers always annihilate those fumbling with onscreen controls.
