I have CM7.1 RC. I am getting a weird issue.
When I start Wifi, it is not connecting , but if I disable cell data then wireless starts working.
Again If I turn on my data, it shuts off my wireless.
Let me know how to resolve this issues

Interesting, have you tried reflashing CM7?
I would recommend using the newer nightlies as they are very stable.
Maybe try a non stock kernel too.

Thanks for quick response.
I am using this rom for last two months, there was no issue till today.
Is there any other solution than reflashing, because then I need to reinstall all apps and everything.

You would not lose your /data if you flashed an update.
You could try flashing a different kernel if you wanted though.
Tiamat, Savaged-Zen, or Godmode.

Thanks, I will try that.

MIUI problem

I have a problem with MIUI rom. Some days ago, my phone suddenly had FC, now, my phone run really slow and laggy... If I turn off the screen, my phone won't wake up, only four button in the bottom light up.
I wiped everything in CMW (system, data, and cache, also sd-card) but it doesn't work.
The fresh install had the same issues
I have this problem only with MIUI rom
any help
You probably need to provide more info on the issue. What version of MIUI are you running? Have you tried a fresh download of the ROM?

http://forums.miui.us/showthread.php?3740-Display-won-t-wake-from-sleep
Hey guys, I flashed 1.819 yesterday and everything was going great. The ROM ran smoothly and I was having no issues at all. When I woke up the next morning my display would not turn back on. Every time I tried to turn on the display the soft lights would light up but the display remained unresponsive. The phone still seemed functional as I could hear e-mail and sms notifications coming through.
When I rebooted my phone it was abnormally slow.. mounting the sd card and syncing seemed like it was taking forever and the launcher was very jittery.. if I let my display time out it would not come back on and I'd be forced to pull the battery and try again.
I performed a full wipe through clockwork recovery (everything, including wiping system, data, and cache in 'mounts and usb') and reinstalled 1.819. The fresh install had the same issues.. if I let my display time out I wouldn't be able to turn it back on. I thought I was having some wonky hardware issue but after flashing my previous sense rom and everything is working perfectly.. so I'm pretty much scratching my head here. My phone was kickass for one day and became allergic to MIUI overnight!

Have you tried using a different kernal such as Tiamat or JD's Kernal?
May want to try that. I had good luck with Miui and Tiamat (ran it for a week)

Does this happen immediately after you flash? Or are you installing applications to get back to your preferred setup and then seeing the performance problems?
If it's the latter, I'd run the rom alone and see if it runs normally. Then install your applications individually until you encounter issues.

immediately after the flash. I don't install any other apps
since we are talking about MIUI issues. I am running the latest version of MIUI with the JDKernal.
The camera has color distortion lines when I take a picture. The picture comes out fine but when taking it the image shows the distortion. It did not do that before so I can only assume its something with the camera in the ROM.
Anyone else see this?

tenchu, your signature says you are not English or American. Are you running the MIUI.us ROM on your incredible 2 in English - and not another language?
.....just a thought.

[Q] Help with MIUI

Ok so i keep getting force closes when i receive a call and try to answer it. Iv wiped everything restored it back to last ROM then reflashed it and this didnt fix it? Anyone plz help!
1.12.9 was the last stable one, re-flash that. You should only have to wipe cache/dalvik, that's all I did when I restored.
In case you need it...
http://roms.miui.us/supersonic/MIUI.us_supersonic_1.12.9_Eng_Deo_ZipA_Signed_naerok.zip
Thats why I had to switch from MIUI It was working fine at first but all the sudden FC's all the time and if I flash the latest I still get those issues :/ I think it has to do with the new UI they are adding, and you need to make sure you are using radios that are compatible with MIUI itself. and you might have even got a bad download link so try another time wipe and flash and see what happends let us know!
There were CDMA issues after 1.12.9, they're resolved but I doubt we'll see updates until MIUI ICS.

The best one I had was Cm7 very stable and fast rom.
Guys, this issue with MIUI builds 1.12.23 and 1.12.30 are VERY well known and have been talked about over and over. There are links to older and newer builds in the MIUI thread in the Dev section AND on MIUI.us.....
Jeez. a little searching won't kill you, ya know....
Cm7 didn't work well at all for me. Apps would force close left, and right. Swagged out rom worked pretty well for me. MIUI is working well but force closes on incoming calls. Trying to decide what to try next.

Holy mother of God, even in this thread it's mentioned that the newest MIUI build on the d/l page is broken and you have to use 1.12.9 or 2.1.3, both of which are posted over and over in the MIUI thread in the dev section AND on MIUI.us

[Q] no signal and data when installing latest pacman rom

Please help noob here and I'm having problems with the latest ROM from pacman 4.4 build. Every time I install I do not get any data or signal. Also when I try to sign into Google even with WiFi on I get message saying unreliable connection or I'm not signed up for data if issue persist to contact customer service any help will b appreciated.
What build are you trying to install, have you tried re-downloading the ROM also if you're trying to flash a different kernel with the ROM you have to let it boot once before doing so.
