Both. Though in that pic I didn't have the aux out cable hooked up.
Where did you pick yours up?

I used a Garmin Nuvi mount with my Defender. Clips right in with only the slightest mod to the Nuvi mount. Instructions/pics are around here somewhere ...

Got it directly from the manufacturer.

One of these, with one of these.
Though your mounting solution might be different, so check out the different mounts. Word of warning, in my Element, that silver trim piece around the radio is painted black plastic, not silver plastic. The suction cup is strong enough to pull the paint right off the plastic when it gets hot outside.
The cool part with these mounts though is they are very adaptable and adjustable. Will probably never need to buy another mount for any future phone.
Check out slipgripcarmounts.com

I use the MyTouch Universal Car Mount.
Really great mount for my Atrix & my Infuse.
I actually stumbled upon a company called slipgrip that makes car/bike/ram docks for different phones and cases. I have the Defender for my Captivate (and another one on the way for when my new Atrix arrives) and I have a vent mount from them for the Captivate in a Defender case. It fits great and is easily the best vent mount I have ever owned. I will be getting another one for my Atrix later this month. Just wanted to put my 2 cents in.

Anyone know if there will be one, as a guy at the bell store said that there is one. However I havnt seen anything on the web.

There isn't one and it is highly unlikely that there will be.
Ballistic makes a nice case for it.

I got it right off, and love having it. Easier to grip the phone, and you have the four ball corners for impacts (I drop my phone a lot )
Good accessory to have
Yeah, I've had this for a few months, it is a good case, what I don't like is its attraction to hair/fuzz/dust/pocket lint.

How much thicker & wider does the Ballistic case make the phone?
It's fairly significant.

i have dropped my phone at least 20' down an elevator shaft just recently
without a problem. the ballistic case is big but is awesome
I've ordered a black Ballistic SG case for my new P930 =)
Good choice.

Apparently they won't have it instock for 7 - 10 days, so I've ordered the HC version instead.
I just ordered mine off Ebay for like 18 bucks brand new.
Sent from my LG-P930 using XDA
Mine was $19.99 + 4$ shipping off eBay, "seller refurbished", just comes in generic packaging I think.
Do the ballistic cases fit the thicker profile when using an extended capacity battery?
No, it wouldn't, because the IRS made for the phone without ABC extended battery, and if the extended battery is double the size like I've heard, than it won't.

Anyway. I bought my ballistic hc case for 15 bucks because my wife has an employee discount and they had a sale yesterday. I didn't even have to wait for shipping.

Anyone know anyway to make headphone cables straight? It really bugs me when the cable gets in the way.
I read that adding heat will help but I'm not 100% convinced that it is good/ safe for the cable
Any thoughts?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app
Hair Dryer Should try
You can lay the cable on a table with a book or paperweight on each end for a day or so.
What ever works. Let us know how it worked out for you.

Straight like how? Buy a headphone with a flat wire..its so tangle-free. :')
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
I can't advise buying headphones based on the cable being flat. Mild heat should be fine, such as a hair dryer, but laying it flat and putting weight on both ends is your best bet.
What headphones?

Bluetooth frequently isn't as high quality as normal headphones, though. Plus, it's one more thing to keep charged.
It true the quality is not their but it depends on how you are using it. myself I work in a warehouses and just play music for background noise. Charging a bluetooth can be a pain but high end ones will work anywhere from 8 to 12 hrs off one charge or some out there have headphones and mic that goes around the neck and you use aa batteries. They work for about 12 hrs. Hope this helps

Ahh, I used to run a high end home theater warehouse. Usually just run the cable under my shirt, tangle free. That's critical in a warehouse.
I did find this gem as a gift for an employee, though, who mounted it on his forklift.

I think he's talking about the black one? It's the same guy that's complaining about these on every thread about spigen. The black one does scratch the phone on the corners.
Does anyone know how I can purchase this case? The website doesn't give me the option to order it

Confirmed. The black one scratched 3 of my corners unfortunately. My Neo Hybrid however is fantastic.
I used to have a feather case for my GNex that wrapped top to bottom so that the sides were clean. The case wouldn't interfere with side swiping nor make the phone feel wider when you grab it. I haven't been able to find such a case yet. Even the thin cases still bulk up the sides. Does anybody know of a case like this for the N5?

Couldn't find the edit button on the XDA app. It wasn't the feather case it was the Ringke Slim.

Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
i dont think there are any. i have the rearth slim one, spigen slim and another super slim one from ebay but i use none of them.
i've just been using my phone without a case. i ordered a matte black skin.
i dont like how the slim cases make the phone feel wider and a lil heavier either. if i drop it and scratch it i'll put one of the cases. thats what i did with my old s4. till then, i'll keep it naked.
That was probably just a one off.
The same thing happened with sunglasses... before realizing that going around the sides was a much better idea!!

Are you guys worried about your note 4 having a gap? after hearing about the first phones over seas having a gap between the screen and the metal frame. don't know what to think of it, I wanna get the note on the 17th, but am afraid to pre order the note just because I don't want to open my brand new phone to a gap..
Nope.
Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I'm not worried at all about it. I've had at least one spot, in every phone I've owned, that had a gap in it somewhere. If this is what it takes to bond metal to glass, I'm all for it. It actually states the gap is there in the manual, so it's a design feature. Check out this video about the gap.
www.youtube.com/embed/r3mNJCNnARo
If the glass was right up against the metal, the slightest drop would cause the screen to spider crack. The plastic had a little absorption abilities but metal will transfer any vibration directly to the glass...so you should be happy it is there...it shows they were thinking.
Had a pair of note 2's in the family for a couple of years they've worked fine all this time. They both had a gap that you could barely fit a sticky note in. Not really a problem.
