[Q] Desire HD RADIO Flash, battery NOT full

I flashed my Desire HD Radio without fully charged battery.
Now i have Bootloop, can anyone help me out??
Did you run out of battery while flashing? Was the flash succesful apart from this? (no error messages etc?)

I doubt that caused it, re-download your chosen radio, check the md5 then reflash and watch carerfully for any error messages

[Q] problem on cyanogen 7 rom on Desire HD help

Hi There, I'll try and keep this short, this is regarding my brothers Desire HD:
he's running MIUI 1.7.8 - no problems. Ril 2.2.0018G, Radio 12.54.60.25U_26.09.04.11_M2
We thought we'd try a new ROM, did the usual, wiped data, dalvik cache etc etc. installed Cyanogen 7.0.3 through CWM
He prefers this new ROM. set everything up, then discovered a strange problem, an active call is dropped when the proximity sensor turns the screen off. I looked this problem up (someone else experienced it and did a "fastboot oem eraseconfig" I tried this and it said successful but didnt cure the problem...
I tried to flash the RIL 2.2.0018G in CWM (It said it flashed successful, but when i booted into the ROM, it still had the old RIL installed with the ROM not the new one i just flashed.
One other thing, the Radio that I had was: 12.54.60.25U_26.09.04.11_M2, something strange, the U changed to P after i installed Cyanogen7 ???
I used Nandroid to restore MIUI and the P changed back to a U, the RIL was obviously changed to the one that came with the MIUI ROM and all is now working again.
Q1, Why couldn't i flash a new RIL under Cyanogen (was i doing it wrong - just a normal flash through CWM?)
Q2, Why did the U change to a P in the radio name when i installed Cyanogen?
Q3, Any ideas to the cause of the dropped calls (if not answered in Q1 or Q2)?
I tried, but it still turned into a longer post. sorry.
thanks for your help.
Kevin
I'm not an expert, but I believe RILs can only be flashed in the recovery console. I know I flashed mine there and it worked. No idea why the letter changed
RILs can be safely flashed in CWM, with minimal harm. But do make sure that md5 provided by the dev is matching with yours. If the RIL is restored after rebooting, maybe the RIL is tied with the stock radio. Plus, RIL does not has any effect in AOSP rom.
The radio prefix can change due to rom/radio own setting and region. Read this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1068874
Reason of dropped call may caused by dialer that flagged as open application and would kill itself if its clashed with screen off command. Try to reflash/change kernel.

to use cmd with the phone in fastboot mode you need the "fastboot.exe" file, also you need to make sure the cmd directory points in the correct path. Could be why you didn't actually flash anything.

G2 boots into recovery after android revolution 7 rom flashed

Hi. I just flashed my old g2 with ARHD 7 and now the phone after I turn it on it boots into the HTC screen and then it goes directly into recovery. I had never had a problem like this when flashing a rom in this phone. I have searched all around but still cant find anything like this.
Off the top of my head, do you have the Desire Z hboot installed?
(Not sure if the problem description is a symptom of not having it, but it is required when running pretty much any Sense ROM)
This can happen if the ROM you flashed did not flash properly. Have you tried to wipe everything, redownload, and reflash the ROM?
I believe that biohazrd51 is correct, not having the desire z HBOOT can cause this problem as well.
Hey! Thanks for the replies! I did found out that I didn't had the desire z hboot....noobiadaaaa onmy side...hehe...I flashed it and I didn't even had to reflash the rom...it worked flawlesly. I was trying to use the phone with AT&T but it would not connect in other band than edge. I guess I'll check to see if the frequencies on the G2 are compatible with the AT&T network. It would make calls and receive. But the internet was slow as hell! Thanks again guys.

[Q] while flashing rom speaker went nearly offline

while i was flashing my htc desire hd to rom android revolution hd my speaker went nearly mute. know its like not working i dont know what went wrong. then i flashed many roms, after that i flashed for stock rom. then degraded it then rooted it again. but the problem still exists. need some help. thank you in advance. some one plz helpppppppp
I don't quite understand what happened. Did you lose speaker sound after a flash? If so try a clean wipe, redownload and reflash. If the problem persists try a different ROM. If it still persists it might be a hardware problem.

[Q] CyanogenMod Wifi issue

So I downloaded the most recent version of Cyanogenmod for the S4 today (7/18) and it won't connect to the wifi at all. Anyone else experiencing similar issues? Suggestions on what I should do?
Maybe a bad download? Check and compare the md5 sums, if they match, it's probably a bad flash. Check if anybody else on the latest has any issues similar to yours. If not, do a full wipe(cache and dalvik, data, and system) and reflash ROM+gapps to see if that resolves the problem. Hope I helped!

I installed 7/18 today and WiFi works fine
Sent from your phone. You should be careful where you leave that thing.
Never mind about this. I did a factory reset and then my Wifi miraculously worked. Thanks for the replies though.
