well, i posted in another thread but basically i have the seidio 1600mah battery and there's practically no difference in that compared to the stock 1500 battery. that being the case, i highly doubt the 1750 is going to be much of a difference either.
then again, i am a heavy user and can kill my seidio 1600 in just over 2 hours of solid activity.
I post the same question in another forum but I guess nobody haven't try it yet....
I was wondering about this one, or the mytouch 1650. Can people please enlighten us?
From the research I did before buying the VZW extended battery the actual life of the Seidio batteries appears to be less than the stock battery, regardless of the claims.
That being said I do own a Seidio battery but have not noticed an increase in battery life.
My roomate just got this battery so I can ask her if she is noticing a difference. I personally just bought another stock battery and swap out when they die. I can usually go through the whole day if I switch 4g off when I am not using it.
I did however, buy the Seidio battery charger which works great with the stock batteries.

This is what I just did. Got my spare stock battery in the mail today and I plan on swapping the batteries when the other dies and then using the seidio wall charger to keep them both juiced.

Okay, so it looks like im going to have to get an extended battery for this phone like everyone else. Even after a month I dont think it will be too much better on battery life. I wanted to know what is the cheapest slim battery around (dont want extended door or anything). I saw the sedio on amazon for 39 (1750 mah) and a mugen on ebay for 35 (1800 mah), isnt there anything better?
i was thinking to just maybe get 2 1500's with a charger, theyre on ebay for 10.99 shipped
I believe that the Hero battery also fits the EVO. I've got the 2000 mah battery that was posted I think in the hero forums. I believe it ran me about $13 shipped from china. First thing I do tomorrow is pop it into the evo to try it out.

That's what I'm doing. That way I don't have to get an extended door. And I have a hero which uses the same battery. I just charge one in the phone and then charge one in the charger at night. In the morning i put the extra battery into my wallet.

Can you give us a review of this battery? Does it last longer than the OEM? A link to it? Thanks.
I'm waiting for my EVO on the 2nd shipment and I'd also like to know as much as I can about any extended batteries that may work after reading all the reviews...
I'm interested in a second/extended battery as well...the way I'm going to be using this phone, I'll need it!
Heck, what's the best "fat" extended battery? If I need to be out and about then I don't mind trading size for battery life.
The sedio battery on amazon mentions extended battery life in the topic.
http://www.amazon.com/Seidio-Innoce..._1_5?ie=UTF8&s=wireless&qid=1276013643&sr=8-5
How is this different from the stock battery?>

I wouldn't buy from those manufacturers if I were you. Check out batteryboss.org. Some guy evaluated those battery capacity claims and a lot of them are flat out lies.
I have been a Seidio customer for years and have always being very pleased with their extended battery solutions for all my devices. My experience is that they did extend the battery life of my devices significantly. Without a reputable protocol and some raw data I will trust my previous experience over "some guys" who did "some tests".

Sorry to tell you this, but...
http://batteryboss.org/ These guys are testing a variety of aftermarket batteries for their true capacities, and the one you purchased is included n their test. They only got 1100 mAh out of the actual battery, under the name TP2 Andida, new in their chart.
Good thing you only spent ten bucks, though.
No kidding, the TP2 battery fits? That's the EXACT same battery the hero uses!!
Luckily, I bought two of them, and just got a TP2 as my work phone. That means I suppose, that I have four batteries
btw, those batteries probably aren't 2000mA, but they're nearly as good if not a little better than stock, and for ten bucks each, not too bad.
EDIT - Duh, I see you said you got it from the Hero forums.
Seidio hasn't released their 3500 mAh extended battery for the Evo yet. I'm patiently waiting, as I bought that battery for my hero. I went from charging every day, to every other day.

I like what they did with the rear door. I hope they bring out a hard-case to also work with this battery. To keep it then, they could just cut out the back of the case in the middle where the battery extrudes. The rear cover will provide significant protection anyways.
the seidio batteries are awesome but they are worthless if you dont have the extended case that goes with it.. id just wait for the 3500mah for the evo instead of the one for the eris cause your gonna have the case problem
I wish they would add two more mm to the battery and do 4500mah because at that point the little bit of bulk added doesn't really matter.
/b
i wonder how hot that 3500 will get, i'd rather the 1750 and not change the dynamics of the back case.
apparently only a couple of the batteries on batteryboss come close to their rated mah, i wonder what the evo 1500mah will come in as....
what is the biggest mAh you can buy without changing the back cover? I like my EVO thin.
I believe the highest mah you can get while keeping the evo slim is the 1750 by Seidio. But for 40+ dollars I dont think an extra 250 is worth it
I just wish they would make the battery 1-1.5mm thicker and add whatever they can to that... Then we wouldn't have to change the back.
*Here's where I am horrified to find out I am the only one who's battery cover doesn't really fit on the phone*

Id just wait for the charging case thats comming out.
I wonder if the 2150mah OEM for the TP2 will fit into the evo, and I wonder how much the case will have to be extended. It is the only battery that tests at 100%.
Will the 1350 battery for the Eris work on the evo? I know the capacity is smaller, but will it fit and work?
Is it just me or is something fishy going on...
Example:
DINC Battery 1750 mAh small battery fits stock phone.
http://www.seidioonline.com/product-p/basi17hhrv.htm
TBolt Battery 1600 mAh small battery fits stock phone.
http://www.seidioonline.com/product-p/basi16htmec.htm
Both batteries are the same size and the only difference is contact placement.
I think there is some false advertisement going on because they are calming one is 1600 mAh and the other is 1750 mAh... If the DINC battery is truthfully a 1750 mAh why not just sell it for the TBolt with the different contact placement?

I don't trust mah ratings from aftermarket batteries. They are usually inflated numbers and frankly not worth the $25 increase over a stock battery just to gain an extra 200 mah. For the price of one of sedio's extended batteries you could buy two stock batteries. Just something to think about.
I got one and honestly it might be worse
I have used the Seidio batteries in my last 2 phones and have had great luck with them.
I have one coming for my TB, I will post results when I get it.

You are better off buying the set of 3 with charger on eBay for 12 bucks.
Here is a comparison someone did with quite a few different batteries.

They make great cases but that's about it. The batteries are a rip off.

I bought one and will let you guys know how it goes. A coworker of mine has been searching, and I guess a bunch of people on Droidforums have had great success (30+ hours with moderate-heavy usage). I just got mine fully charged last night, so I will let you know after I run it out.
good im waiting for the same battery anything can be better than the current battery
i just got my new 1600 battery.
quick question should i kill the battery first then charge it, or should i charge it right away.
typically say charge first, over charge, after it's full bump it and let it sit for 2 more hours. So the battery companies say.
ok il definitely do that
ever since i was little i always have killed the battery to 0 then charged it fully
just something someone told me as a kid, but i didn't know if it applied to new better phones
ordered one of the 1600 batteries also from amazon, will let you know how it goes when i get my thunderbolt and this battery from amazon

If it is a li-ion battery discharging it all the way to 0 isn't a good thing.
FYI Dinc batteries are physically larger than mytouch4g/tbolt batteries. Hence the bigger maH ratings.
Just the title is a mouth full haha. I bought a powermat from a buddy without realizing how they work. I found that i can Wireless Charging Inductive Battery Cover from vzw and still use the powermat. But then i would have to trade in my extended battery. I searched fro quite some time and found nothing anyone know where to find a Wireless Charging Inductive extended Battery Cover for the vzw extended battery?? I really can't tell what would be better charging wirelessly or keeping my extended battery haha ahhh decisions decisions...
found a solution also a solution for anyone who wants an extended battery but wants a case or doesn't want the bulky back. Sedio makes a 1750 extended battery that is the same size as the original battery and CHICHITEC makes a 1900 extended battery that is the same size as the oem battery.

I was reading some reviews on the CHICHITEC 1900 apparently they make the same battery for like 9 different phones and it leaves a gap, it works but i dont trust it. If you want to snag one its on amazon pretty cheap to its 39.99 for 2 batteries and a wall dock to charge one battery and a usb to charge the phone. the sedio you can find on htcdepot. I also read about the mugen 1800mah, but i could only find it on ebay within a few minutes of searching. I also heard it wasnt to great.. Ahh decisions decisions haha..
Yeah, I'd like to get a stronger battery but I like my otterbox too much to give it up for an extended battery. So if I can get an extended battery the same size, I'd be all over that.

Whats the real benefit of a power mat? Yeah it charges wirelessly, but doesn't it have to lay on the mat? If you pick up your phone to use it, it stops charging right? Doesn't this make the cable superior because you can still use it while it's charging without messing with the powermat?
pretty sure the battery door for inductive charging is bulkier than a normal
I have one of those HongDa Power 3600mAh extended batteries for the Galaxy Nexus GSM... I'm a noob so I can't post a link to it, but they sell them as "hongdapower799" on ebay.
It's a 3600mAh extended battery for the GNex GSM version made by some company in Hong Kong. Battery Monitor Widget Pro estimates it between 2600-2750mAh, which is a nice, big improvement. I definitely notice an increase in life. It sucks that we can't get the Seidio 3800 battery with GSM, but at least we have something.
Does anyone else have one of these? What kinds of estimated mAh values do you get in Battery Monitor Widget?
Oh yeah... Also, has anyone tested this battery out with the Seidio extended Surface case designed for use with their 3800mAh battery? I ordered one and I'll test it out and post the results here, but if anyone has tried this and failed, I'll just send it back without opening it, lol.
I can't find this Hongda Power battery.
Here is the ebay listing for the battery:

And here is the listing for the Seidio case:
http://www.seidioonline.com/samsung-galaxy-nexus-surface-extended-case-black-p/csr2ssgnlx2-bk.htm
I have confirmed that the Seidio case is indeed a PERFECT fit with the phone containing the Chinese battery. Like PERFECT. And the battery is consistently rated at over 2600mAh. Not only that, the battery was a replacement for another one I got from HongDa which didn't have great capacity. The guy sent me another without charge. This combo is definitely recommended for anyone who wants to get more battery life on a budget!

So, if I understand you correctly, you got a battery with really poor capacity followed by good customer service and a replacement battery that consistantly achieves ~70% of it's rated capacity. And this qualifies for a high recomendation.
I'm not suggesting anything bad (or even out of the ordinary) regarding this seller or this battery, but I think that as consumers we've become far too accepting of battery shenanigans all around.
