Hi all,
Just came back from vacation and when plugging in my TP2 to my laptop it just rebooted and doesn't want to come on again. When I keep it plugged in, its starts to boot up (up to the stage where in read it says the ROMs versions etc) and then just reboots again.
What could be the problem? Had a OEM ROM and bootloader on. Anyway to reset the device or do some problem solving?
Thanks

hmmmmmm...
very strange to hear.
Have you tried a hard reset yet? (Pick-up Key + Hang-up Key + power on then follow onsecreen instructions)
Hey guys.A while back I wanted to install adfree so I rooted my e975.Sometime in August I updated the android to 4.4.2 and I think the phone got unrooted. But SuperSU was still installed and I wanted it removed. So I tried a factory reset (settings->backup&reset->factory reset data) but SuperSU was still there afterwards.
Then I thought I should flash the kdz.So I tried to get my phone into download mode (volume buttons pressed and then connect to pc) but the screen shows nothing.I also tried going into recovery (volume down+power button) but that doesn't appear to work either.
Does anyone have any idea what's wrong with my phone?Everything else is working fine so maybe I'm doing something wrong.
Sorry if something doesn't make sense, English isn't my first language.
No one has any ideas?
I think this may be a hardware problem so I should find a way to hide the fact that the phone got rooted in case I need to sent it back.Is there any way to remove SuperSU without flashing the kdz?

Thanks for helping me brijen95.I just tried what you said and volume down+power key doesn't seem to work. The screen just stays black so I can't do a hard reset.Vol+ and connect to pc doesn't work either. The phone just starts charging after a few seconds.I also just reinstalled the drivers but it didn't change anything.
I had a hard time getting into download mode recently as well. What ended up working for me was holding the volume keys for about 10 seconds, then while still holding the buttons, plugging the usb cable into the phone.
No that didn't work either .
Is there any way to remove SuperSU?Keep in mind that my phone is not rooted anymore.
Edit: Well I just found out that the phone is entering download mode but not showing anything on the screen.I managed to flash the kdz with no issues.
Hello everyone,
My phone is stuck on bootloop after flashing a ROM and my volume up key is broken (so I can't enter download or recovery mode). Is there any way I can flash the stock ROM on my phone?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
i think there is a dongle you can buy and insert it into ur charger port and it automatically kicks you into download...try and look it up. good luck
The USB jig may put your phone into download mode when everything else fails.

Ok my phone stuck in bootloop and volume buttons dont work.
therefore
- i cant reboot into fastboot or recovery
- i cant connect my phone to usb - it blips in and out as my phone keeps rebooting
- when i plug it while its turned off it gets weird. the screen goes back and forth between the charging battery icon and TWRP recovery screen. same thing happens when i plug it to the wall to charge. but even that wont me access to recovery.
All and all im screwed as far as i can tell. ill try to fix the button, but in the meantime, if you can make any suggestions im all for it, Help pls.

I wanted to root my Note10+.
It is a Note10+ SM-N975F. It is not locked to any carrier.
I enabled dev options, unlocked OEM, booted into download mode, and unlocked the bootloader. This was apparently successful.
I then tried to use Odin to flash stock rom. Odin fails at "system.img". I tried to flash with Chimera Tool. Chimera also fails at "system.img". I tried different stock roms (older versions etc.), the error perists. I tried on a different computer, the error persists.
So I decided to flash a patched TWRP, then I was gonna flash ROM throught TWRP.
I flashed TWRP and that leads me to now. My phone is effectively dead:
If I plug it in or turn it on, it boots to the "Samsung Galaxy Note10+" screen, it will tell me to press power to confirm that I understand that the phone's security has been bypassed/non-official software is installed. Then it will hang forever on the "Samsung Galaxy Note10+" screen.
There doesn't seem to be anyway to turn it off other than letting the battery drain, but even with the battery drained, if I plug it in, it will just boot to the "Samsung Galaxy Note10+" screen.
If I hold power + volume down, it will reset back into the "Samsung Galaxy Note10+" screen.
Whether it's on or off, power + volume up appears to do nothing
Any ideas? If I can get into download/recovery mode it should be fixable... But I can't even get there at this point!
Try different Odin.
Holding the power button for more than 10 seconds should always shut down.
Im happy to help if you are struggling?
Had the same bootloop symptoms, fixed!
i had the same bootloop when trying to update to beta android 10, let your phone drain completely, hold volume up and down at the same time, connect a usb cable and it should turn on to a download mode screen, flash latest rom (BL+AP+CSC+CP) and you re all set
Yep - solved in line with the above:
I let it it drain, then held vol up and down and plugged into computer - got into download mode recognised by Odin!
