I've experienced this before on various phones, not just HTC or Android, but it's only been temporary (a couple of days) then it's corrected itself. I think it has something to do with carrier servers/transmitters.

HTC Touch pro 2 for Verizon problems!

When I try to reply to a message sent to me from one particular person, I get a message from System Administrator saying "The message you sent has been delivered" Whenever I get this message, the person I was replying to does not get a text from me. If I open a new message and add this person as a recipient, then he gets the message. Why is there this error and how do I fix it? Does anyone know? I love the phone but this error showing up and not sending my messages makes me want to get a new phone because the person I cant reply to is my fiance!
In my past experience with verizon, you will receive that message when you attempt to send a text message to a land line. It might be that you have numbers stored in the wrong fields. For example, you accidentally stored the home phone in the mobile field.

Basicaly I am wondering if anybody knows if you can make this Please wait message even quicker. At one time It use to take a solid count to 5 for the message to go away and the message to send. So I restore the phone and that worked nice and Fast! SMS messages within 1 sec wait times now 3 weeks later they are creeping up again is there anything anybody has done to help this......?

As far as I know this is the network sending the message... You don't have to sit on that screen until the message is sent just leave it and go do something else

SMS error code 3

I know my phone is unique with its issues and my replacement should arrive tomorrow. I just wanted to document yet another issue just in case someone else may experience it. this has happened a few times now where I will go to send a message and my phone will lock me out of sending SMS. I go to message details and see an error code 3. I won't be able to send any messages, a reboot will fix the issue but attempting to resend the message which first got the error will result in it blockng all my sms once again until I reboot

[Q] Warning Sign in Messages - What Is It?

Hello
I have the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and have noticed a warning sign appear in my messages.
Does anyone know what it means or how to get rid of it?
Anytime I have had a warning sign it was due to a failed sent message. That is in Handcent messaging though, not to sure about stock.
Means the same thing in stock messenger. A message failed to send.

As has been said it's a failed message, it should disappear on it's own when it auto sends the message when it gets signal again. If it doesn't, you can always go into the thread and just delete the message and try again.
Thanks.
I'll take a look. It may take a while though but I guess I could just wait until the thread gets round to auto deleting it.

This.
And you can resend the message by clicking on the warning icon. It will automatically enter the failed text into the text entry box allowing you to send it again.

HOX SMS Hangs, Doesn't Send Sometimes

Sometimes when I am sending a text message, I'll compose the message and hit Send. Hours later, I will come back and the phone is still trying to send the message. I'm not talking about a failed sending of the message, the phone is still trying to send the message. The circle just spins and spins.
If I delete and re-send the message, or send another message, it usually fixes the problem. Restarting the phone flushes all of these hanging messages out and successfully send them.
My wife has the same phone (different color), with the same software, stock and root, and hers does this as well. We have both tried several text message apps, and they all do this.
Any idea as to what could be causing this or how I might fix this?
Thanks much!
