Sorry for askinga question.
The topics name is s-off without xtc. Step b says put xtc flex adapter in wildfire s. What sense does that make?

All i can think is check in wireless and network settings then somewhere under mobile network, check for access points and make sure your network is selected in there. Last resort maybe factory reset but might be worth contacting your network maybe the problem is them.

Thanks for that. The son is correct. Turning mobile internet off then back on seems to reliably sort it out. Strange.
Will try a reset, before thinking of sending in to be looked at.
Cheers,
John

I have this problem, also on a t-mobile WFS, however mine is rooted, unlocked hboot but still s-on.
The mobile data simply won't work anymore since the root.
is there anyway to remove simlock whitout the need to root the device?

I know you can remove it with aahk but I rather not use aahk.

No, you either need,
A code from HTC or your Carrier,
or
Root,
or
Possibly an XTC Clip
