I had one question.I got a DHD and sound from speaker is so poor.I read in this topic for some fix but can found anything.I thing that the mobile is on original android in software inf. is
Android version-2.3.3
HTC Sense version 2.1.
How can I make the sound better. Please help.
If you mean the internal speaker of the device, there is no fix.
The quality is very poor, but it is a HTC problem. If you want a better speaker, you have to buy the device from another company.
Yes I mean on internal speaker

hi
Of the best in sound and ring n1 or Desire?
thanks
Not 100 % sure of what you mean, but in means of audio quality the desire should be a bit better due to the Dolby Mobile support.
Dolby mobile is just software, when the final Desire ROM will be ported to the N1 it will be the same.
Now for the speaker I dunno
Hi I am looking at purchasing one of the two which do you think is a better buy?

Desire HD is (slightly) more powerful, Desire Z has a keyboard... there you go!
All preference at this point, if you don't need the hardware keyboard, get the desire hd.

Up to priorities. I can't live without the hardware keyboard, I don't find writing on touch screen very comfortable, so I took the Desire Z ) but I don't like the poor sound / low ringer on the Dezire Z. Hardly can hear when ringing outside and constantly looking for an application to fix this.
Hope other HTC don't have this problem.

You can fix the sound quality on Desire Z with different apps and even boost the volume. The European Desire Z's had an audio level restriction placed on them. Depends what ROM you are running to know which application would work for you...
This search brought quite a few results...
As for HD vs Desire Z, there isn't much difference except the obvious.
DHD has more RAM, it can run the new sense 3.0 ROM's a lot better than the DZ.
As people have said what it really comes down to is do you need the hardware keyboard or not?
Neither. Both are pretty old at this point, getting close to a year for both. That's pretty long in the tooth in smartphone terms, and its hard to justify buying either new at this point, with better options available. Depending on your market, I'd get a Sensation, if its available in your market. If you really need the hardware keyboard, and can get a good deal, get the Z. Otherwise I would wait and see what else is coming that may have a keyboard.

I'm using Virtuous Doubleshot v1.1.0 RC1 Sense 3.0 Espresso rom and Unity v 4 kernel. I installed volume plus a month ago which was pointed to work with android 2.3.3 but I don't see any difference. Thanks for the answer.
offwiththeface, sorry for discussing this in your topic.
Hello there,
I would just like to know if the new upgrade, which allegedly also improved beats audio makes the audio performance indeed "an authentic audio experience" or at least better, or its the same crappie crap we had before.
Thank you,
Bye

Really hard to tell if there is an improvement when the source is mp3...
I have the very best digitally made FLAC quality music and Sennheiser HD555, Beats Audio before had some settings like "solo" or some EQ (and of course standard setting), now its just Beats ON or OFF - sound didn't change when its ON it is still awesome loud and clear, maybe a volume dropped a little...

LOL! idk if it was sarcastic or not, but either way that comment made me happy
did anyone knew there is a bug in android? It can not play some kind of music like this one : hulkshare.com/6v8q8htyft4r
I tried it on my Galaxy S2, Xperia & HOX and I was never able to listen to this song's 'voice' part which starts at 0:45
Try to listen this song first on your PC/laptop and then listen it on your android device and let me what you are able to conclude ;D
I had dome cuts while playing music over bluetooth with Spotify on 2.15. I don't have the problem anymore with 2.17.
Hi there! I am a total noob with rooting a ROMs but I finally did it today and updated to Android Revolution, the latest version. Problem is, it reversed the speakers on my Desire HD and now the sound quality is TERRIBLE! Normally, the sound would come out of the back speaker which is good quality, but now it comes out of the actual phone speaker and it's really bad quality! Is there any way to fix this? If there is another version of Android Revolution made for Desire HD then I guess I could re-update, but please help ASAP! The sound quality is KILLING ME!
Is it a Telus Desire HD or a normal One?

Hello.I have in this thread a post about my problem with poor in call volume. Is not to bad but not enough for me,and I think there is no any kernel with tweak for increase the in call volume,we can find a lot of apps for boost volume for speaker but no for ear speaker, only what I found and paid a dollar was option for steps when changing the in call volume.
I have also in home HTC Desire C and Samsung Wave and both with my sim giffgaff netowork in UK have a perfect, very loud in call sound. In HTC One V is a lot silencer, also my wife(she always say Iam deaf)confirm that.
I have a question for users with HTC One V did somebody have the same issue and did somebody test with other phone.
Because I thinking about replace the ear speaker,is cheap on ebay, but mayby this is a normal "bug"on htc one v and this will not give me any better solution.
HTC One V is perfect phone for me,only that in call volume need to be increased for me at all.
Regards.
Hello,
I have the same problem with my HTC One V - low volume speaker and I`m planning to replace new speaker - It will something improve? I tried to brush holes yet...
I think its not hardware problem, i have poor volume too, try to change network connection from gsm to wcdma only, it worked for me, but battery drains faster.
