After doing a search, it seems this might be an isolated case, but maybe someone can help regardless.
When I record video (no matter how long the video is) the audio is always out of sync, a little behind the video. I've tried setting it on a lower resolution, turned on "Power Shutter" (which I don't know the function of, to be honest) and doubt it's the ROM since it's done this since stock, and I'm on CND 1.5.0 now.
Any ideas what could be causing this? Has anyone else had this issue besides me?
You might have some hardware issues. Hard to tell, but it does sound like a software issue too.
The only thing tripping me is that you said you had the problem on stock which makes it seem like a hard issue.

Geez, I hope it's not a hardware issue.
Does anyone have any suggestions for alternative camera apps? I think it might help me figure out if it is indeed a software issue.
Ok i am going to try to describe the problem. In the camera app everithing works but when switching to the front facing cam it freezes and it says camera aplication stoped working. I have tried in several apps, roms, kernels and the problem remains. Is it a hardware problem? And another problem is that the back camera pictures look kind of crappy (blurry) i bought it used a few months ago and it keeps bugging me. Is there a way to fix it?
I think it is a hardware problem

I have the same problem, but on the back camera. I think it's a hardware issue.
My front camera caused the same issue. Getting the app to work required stopping the process so it would default again to the front cam. This was about 6 months ago..
I just tried it again and the front cam works... Kind of. Images are blurred and screwy.
Gonna say it's a hardware issue?
Everytime I try to take a picture on my HTC One M8, it says that the duo camera is covered.
I've cleaned the lenses and also tried to use the phone on safe mode, but the problem still persists.
What can be done?
Could it be a hardware issue?
same here, did you repair IT?
I sent device to repair, they reinstalled software MM and issue not returned.
My HTC same problem Wht can I do plz help me
My Huawei P6 Rear Camera does not focus at all.
When I touch the screen nothing happens, the image just looks blurry.
It happened on the standard stock O.s, I have installed a 4.4.2 o.s and the problem is the same.
Does anyone perhaps have a fix or knows why this happens?
I have seen the similar issue on a friends Sony Xperia Z.
The most constructive thing Iv'e read is that the lense is perhaps scratched but this is not so or so I can see.
Please, if someone knows how or why could they let me know?
Especially if you have a soloution.
Thanks
This is an example of the rear camera... I've tried a different camera app like the Google one. I'm just praying its not hardware. But its weird that I've seen this problem before but no one knows what's wrong.
Bump
I have the same problem :s
I repalced my huaweiP6-U06 ascend screen after it had cracked. Now the problem is with my rear camera it does not show an image it just flashes the light and no picture is seen and does not save. It keeps flashing the camera light. How should I fix it?
Dunno what happen to my phone, but my rear Camera is always forcing close, and when it opens the whole screen flickers. Then when I close it, it backs to normal. I've been searching all over the internet but I found nothing regarding this issue. The front cam is working though.

Any help woulb be really appreciated.

That surely help. But I already have a new phone. Just don't want to get rid of my G3 camera. But if it takes me for another buck for it. I may just burry it. I am here just in case some developer knows how to fix it or someone has encountered the same problem.
Thanks anyway.
Maybe this was caused when I baked my G3 motherboard when its WiFi and Bluetooth connection has stopped working.
