Is possible without installing modded firmwares? I mean, doing it by hand, avoiding flashing again? Stune or TkFileExplorer can do this?
Thanks - sorry for asking but i've searched a lot finding nothing
Yes you can but (with stune) you have to install the region code after and that made a reset of your phone.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to activate socialhub premium without modifying first the firmware.
Especially, you need to modify the samsung socialhub web address (or simply replace the "clientstrings-en_US.lan" file) that is in ShpApp.app of the firmware.
This file cannot be edited by STune. It does not even show up in STune. The one that shows up in STune is the one from the FactoryFs file.
When you edit this file with STune, it is automatically overwritten by the original file from ShpApp.app. And you are back to square one.
So it is very necessary to edit the ShpApp.app and flash the firmware before socialhub will be active. You can edit the csc and other files with STune.

Thanks for explanation.
I need first to flash S8500XXJID and then S8500XIKA1 (target firmware). If i've understood correctly, i have to:
1) Download trix (any working link? ) and work with S8500XXJID
2) Edit CSC_S8500_Open_Europe_Common_OXA_XXJID.csc and edit Customer.xml
3) Open ShpApp.app and edit clientstrings-en_US.lan with the new address (will it change in future? )
4) Flash S8500XXJID (full)
5) Flash S8500XIKA1 (light)
Should i edit csc and app also for S8500XIKA1? Can I only modify S8500XIKA1?

Answers:
1. Download Trix from here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=51WOVLLD
2. Edit only the CSC for S8500XIKA1.
(No need to edit the csc of S8500XXJID as it will be overwritten by the csc of S8500XIKA1).
3. It's easier to replace the clientstrings-en_US.lan with the one from http://www.multiupload.com/VYQX8PFOG9 (It is correct and needs no edit).
NB:
i. Replace the clientstrings-en_US.lan file in BOTH ShpApp.app and FactoryFs (S8500XXJID (full))
ii. Replace the clientstrings-en_US.lan file in ONLY PFS_S8500..pfs (S8500XIKA1 (light))
4. First flash S8500XXJID (full)
5. Lastly flash S8500XIKA1 (light)
Suggestion:

Oh really thanks man the only problem is there is no clientstrings-en_US.lan in ShpApp.app and FactoryFs_S8500_Open_Europe_Common.ffs from JID:...
The clientstrings-en_US.lan file is in App\Osp\Applications\2482tqy39g\Data
And it's possible to active socialhub premium with stune but it's easier to make it directly from a firmware.
that's so annoying I link TriX at NokiX site, then everyone link some copies of what they downloaded earlier - at the end people complain the program is buggy, the script is not working, the procedure entry point couldn't be located
download from NokiX site so you always have the current build with updated scripts if something has changed. Short how to is prepared too...
Hi kubica Have you got the link please?
Is there some new scripts for trixBada?
You will find all stuff at http://nokix.sourceforge.net/trix/
there is no currently new scripts - everything still work, even with new bada 2.0, so there is no need for do that
I'm getting the error "social hub has expired. Contact...", so what's wrong?

I can find the PDA for the DXJF4 on the internet, but just simply can't find the modem and CSC files.

So I can actually use the same PDA file as the modem and csc file as well?

read the flashing tutorial (PDF) published in samsung-firmwares carefully, Point #2, it stated that if PDA is the only file you have, you can flash it with that 1 single file, no further extraction is needed.
"Open in ODIN the flash files and the .PIT file (use PDA if you’ve got only one file inside the firmware)."

If I got your question correctly, then no. Don't extract the tar archive. Put the DXJF4 PDA file (AP_S1_PDA_DXJF4_CL363024.tar) on PDA, leave the phone and CSC section blank (don't put AP_S1_PDA_DXJF4_CL363024.tar on the phone and CSC section).
Also, I succeed in flashing DXJF4 using 513 pit. 512 didn't work at all.

Your script works great extracting the .img file. But it's not able to create zip file. Let me edit your script with the missing file/info.
Download this file and put in folder tools;
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/sevenzip/7za920.zip
change this line;
"%LOC%\tools\7z.exe" a "%LOC%\update.zip" "%LOC%\out\*"
to;
"%LOC%\tools\7za.exe" a "%LOC%\update.zip" "%LOC%\out\*"
and it should work. it will create a zip file.

Hi everyone
you know that a big problem of upgrading using multiloader is that all of applications and our data will be deleted due to a firmware upgrade
*This method is found by mylove90 so all credits goes to him
special thanks to mylove90, adfree, and everyone who have helped this developement
Upgrading using this method is by using "PFS" file like kies upgrades
1. first you should prepare two firmwares, one is the firmware which is installed on your phone and the second is the firmware you want to upgrade to
2. Then you need to extract files of the new and the old firmware so download Trix, Select input file (You can make PFS file from a mix between FFS , ShpApp , CSC (Not Rcrs compressed part)) but just FFS is enough
then go to "scripts" tab and select "fs_shell.trx" and add it then run the script and ...
3.then download Winmerge (google it!) its an open source application which compares two files or folders with one click
then compare the new firmware folder and old firmware folder
then in view tab choose the files we want for upgrading
4. the files which are needed are "Different files" and "Unique files" from new firmware, so copy them to a new folder
also the "unique files" from old firmware must be deleted so "copy path names" and change path names to the correct pattern ex:"/appex/sys/blabla"
5. we can delete these files during PFS upgrade by adding the file paths to "/debug/PfsDeleteList.txt" file which we'll include it in our PFS
5. every thing is done
now just download wave_remarker and in FW view select "open dump" and select the files which we put into a new folder!
make a new folder named "debug" and put a txt file named "PfsDeleteList.txt" which contains the path of files which should be deleted during pfs upgrade
then save file as PFS
6. open multiloader and first check "boot change" and flash the new firmware's boot files
then again flash other firmware files (which does not contain FFS, CSC, shpapp (just the files which you extracted)) and includes pfs file
*note that no checkboxes in this level should be checked in multiloader
Thanks I will test this method
I have some questions from who have made this method
when i try dumping just FFS and making pfs of that in flashing it says error: shpapp write
when i try dumping FFS and Shpapp it says error: csc wite
when i try dumping FFS and shpapp and csc it says error: pfs write
edit
for deleting extra files i try putting all file paths into pfsdeletelist.txt
should i use _CSC_FsDeletelist.ini for some of them?
Sorry
I got no clue what you did wrong
Never tested the update from bada 1.2 to 2.0
Best Regards
when i tried bada 2 to bada 2 upgrade
everything was ok but at the end it says CMD_USB_LOCK fail
i could successfully turn my phone on but after some seconds a blue screen appears and it says:

Then you didn't edit the file handling .so signatures to add in it new signatures

Tutorial: Using TriX to Modify Firmwares. A Beginner's Guide
1. Create a folder in your pc where you will save the dumped files from TriX. Example, create a folder in Local Disk C, called Test.
2. Keep the Firmware you need to modify at desktop for easy access.
3. Launch TriX
4. Check the box for Input File ==> click on the search icon ==> click desktop from the Explorer window and select the firmware file (e.g. ShpApp.app), then click Open (to load the file).
5. Check the box for Output File (where the modified file will be saved) ==> click on the search icon ==> click Local Disk C from the Explorer window and double-click the folder Test. Then enter the File name for your modified file, e.g. ShpApp.app, then click Save (to save the file).
6. After you have selected the input file, and specified the output file name and location, which are under the General tab of TriX, now click on the Scripts tab of TriX.
7. Under the Scripts tab, click on the search icon (at bottom left of TriX) ==> expand the displayed bada folder ==> select fs_shell.trx ==> Open ==> Add
8. After adding the script file, click Start (on top menu) ==> enter 2 (for Your choice) to dump files, then press ENTER.
9. Write C:/Test (for Enter Destination Directory) i.e. if you have created a folder Test as in nº 1 above, then press ENTER. TriX will now dump the files to the directory C:/Test. Wait till the dumping process completes.
10. Now go to the directory C:/Test, and edit any folder/file you want.
Caution: Do not Close TriX yet. Make sure TriX is still open.
11. After editing the dumped files as you like (in C:/Test), go back to TriX and enter option 3 (Your choice) to upload the files. After uploading, enter option 0 to quit. Now close TriX.
12. Your new modified file will be saved at C:/Test.
That’s all. I hope this basic tutorial will help those just beginning to learn how to use TriX.

Tutorial 2: How to reduce files from firmware to improve speed
In this tuotrial, you are guided to the files you can safely remove from your custom firmware to increase memory and speed. These files/folders are in the CSC, SHP and FFS. So use TriX or WaveRemaker to dump the files first.
1. CSC FILES
a. Appex => SysDefault => Java => Games => (delete all the games here).
b. CSC => Customer => (delete all except your preferred CSC)
c. CSC => SW_Configuration.xml => (delete all except your CSC. Also edit <NbCustomer>1</NbCustomer).
d. SystemFS => Settings => PreConfiguration (delete all CSC except yours).
Don't delete neither "PreConfiguration.ini" file nor "Default" folder.
2. ShpApp FILES
Osp => Applications => delete the following folders:
a. 1xd3tvpnc5 (Music Hub)
b. 5zdx8bkb6w (Yahoo)
c. 8c59h50loa (GTalk)
d. 577yx64nrt (Caster)
e. 760n3w3202 (MSN)
f. kfdoqs63to (ChatON)
NB: You can as well delete all the language xml files (except your own language) inside "Res" folder of these application:
i. 0rq06e23py (SevenIM)
ii. 8d7uw8z551 (Kona)
iii. rcz4775900 (Bori)
AppEx => Sys (delete this whole folder "Sys"completely).
The Sys folder contains the subfolders listed below which are not used (and already exist in the ShpApp/Osp/Application).
i. BDAgent ===============> [36cbr89p8t in the ShpApp/Osp/Application (BDAgent)]
ii. SamsungAccount=========> [rcz4775900 in the ShpApp/Osp/Application (Bori)]
iii.SamsungApps============> [8d7uw8z551 in the ShpApp/Osp/Application (kona)]
iv. Z7Engine===============> [2482tqy39g in the ShpApp/Osp/Application (z7clientengine)]
3. FFS FILES
a. AppEx => Sys => Widget => (delete these folders: AccuWeather, GoogleMobileService, Memo).
b. Media => Sounds => (delete the "Over the horizon.mp3" file)
c. SystemFS => Media => (from the folders listed below, delete the specified files):
i. Images => delete all except "Wallpaper 01.jpg" and "Wallpaper 02.jpg"
ii. Others => delete the pdf file.
iii. Sounds => Alert tones => delete all except "Cloud.wav", "Good morning.wav", "Haze.wav", "On Time"
iv. Sounds => Ringtones => delete all except "Samsung tune.mp3"
NOTE: Removal of these items will not affect your phone in any negative way.
Rather it will immensely improve the speed and stability of the phone.
Example, you can conveniently now play the Asphalt6 HD game without problems.
Total Memory of Phone will be approximately as follows:
Free Memory Space:
Application Memory: 838 out of 883 MB
System Memory: 570 out of 575 MB

Flashable patched TWRP S10 (G973F)
Flashable patched TWRP S10+ (G975F)
Installation procedure for upgrade from BeyondROM v5.4 / v5.5
- Take a full TWRP backup
- Dirty flash or clean flash is ok
Installation procedure for upgrade from BeyondROM less than v5.4
- If you are on stock ROM, follow the attached guide
This ROM version needs minimum ASIG BL and ASIG TWRP/recovery or it won't boot !!!
1. Boot in TWRP and take a full backup before flashing BeyondRom 5.8 ROM zip
2. Copy the ROM zip to your phone (Ext SD preferably)
3. Download Ian’s Multidisabler v1.6 or higher and copy it to your phone
4. Download Ian’s TWRP 3.3.1-11, copy it to your phone and patch it with Magisk Manager or use the patched TWRP from gdrive folder
5. Download the stock FW for your device (S10 or S10+) – Frija is a good tool to use
6. Extract the AP from stock FW, copy it to a temp folder on your internal SD
7. Patch in Magisk Manager the AP
8. Copy the patched AP to your PC and replace the recovery.img inside the AP with the patched TWRP from point 4. Rename the patched TWRP to recovery.img before replacing it into the patched AP
9. Open Odin 3.13.1 or 3.13.3 and fill all slots with: patched AP, BL, CP and HOME_CSC. Uncheck the automatic restart and start flashing.
10. Once flashing completed, long press VOL DOWN + POWER until screen becomes black. IMEDIATELY the screen gets black, press VOL UP + BIXBY + POWER BUTTON to enter to TWRP recovery.
11. Once in TWRP, flash the Multidisabler v1.6 and right after flash BeyondROM v5.8 No need to reboot in between.
12. After flashing the ROM zip, save the aroma log, go back to TWRP root menu and select Reboot --> Recovery
13. Wait for the boot up (5-7 minutes) and setup your ROM to your liking
14. Enjoy the release of BeyondROM
Advises
1. Clean install if you have issues with dirty flash; don't start flashing BR5 without a twrp backup of your existing rom
2. If you have flashing issues: check rom zip MD5 hash
3. If you consider that the moded services are the culprit for your SnapChat ban, use stock services.jar provided in the download folder
4. If you like my work, consider buying me a coffee (PayPal link)

They're the same thing. It's just the way your phone is reporting the connection.

You have to choose it in the aroma. You may well have missed the option and a dirty flash will fix it.

Nathan

Wow July update. !!!
:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
Installed. So far working fine. Thanks OP.
how can I install TWRP for Galaxy S10+
and kernel?
tried this at least half a dozen times and get stuck at the same spot. I can root and get Magisk and be fine. Then I patch the appropriate TWRP file for my kernel (S10+ twrp-beyond2lte-3.3.1-3.1_ianmacd.img) and then I open the .tar file. I exchange out the recovery.img with the newly patched one. Then I repackage as a tar using B1 free archiver (this may be the issue, but it seems fine). It creates a new AP file. I insert that into Odin (the same version that worked previously) along with the corresponding BL, CP, and CSC files (I have tried both CSC and Home CSC). I boot into download, hook up my phone, hit flash and VOILA...NOTHING!!!! It says, "file analysis" and crashes every time. After a while I got sick of trying so I made an attempt to flash the recovery.img file straight through TWRP app by itself. All that did was cause an infinite boot loop. Can anyone please help me? Here are my rom file names.
AP_G975FXXU1ASE7_CL16003457_QB24029035_REV01_user_low_ship_meta_OS9.tar.md5
BL_G975FXXU1ASE7_CL16003457_QB24029035_REV01_user_low_ship.tar.md5
CP_G975FXXU1ASE5_CP12748354_CL16003457_QB23792291_REV01_user_low_ship.tar.md5
CSC_OMC_OXM_G975FOXM1ASE5_CL16003457_QB23792291_REV01_user_low_ship.tar.md5
HOME_CSC_OMC_OXM_G975FOXM1ASE5_CL16003457_QB23792291_REV01_user_low_ship.tar
MM Pre-patched AP + TWRP name is "magisk_patched + TWRP.tar."
The TWRP file I downloaded was: twrp-beyond2lte-3.3.1-3.1_ianmacd.img which I of course renamed to recovery.img.
THEN AFTER I GET THIS WORKING, DO I JUST FLASH STRAIGHT THE ZIP FOR THE CUSTOM ROM INSIDE TWRP AND THAT'S IT?
TIA
I just noticed that every time I create the tar file it eliminates the .MD5 extension. Can I just edit the file name to include the .MD5 or do I have to do something special to actually modify the file? Thank you.

I think your archive editor isn't up to scratch, install 7zip from here Download
Try using this recovery, its a working pre magisk patched image G973F_magisk_patched3.3.1-3.1.img
Rename it to recovery.img and replace the one inside your magisk patched version of AP_G975FXXU1ASE7_CL16003457_QB24029035_REV01_user_ low_ship_meta_OS9.tar.md5 using 7zip. Then flash with odin.
Hope this helps

Just delete md5 extension, you don't need that. Odin will flash *.tar file without any problems
Thank you for the reply. There are three things that I'm not sure about. All the versions of 7zip that I have used can't create or edit tar files. The second is my device is 975F not 973. Finally, what are the exact steps to replace the recovery file in 7ZIP? That seems to be where it's having the hangup.
@oggi21 I only added that extension as a last resort. It won't flash the regular tar file once I add the patched AP with TWRP recovery using the B1 archiver. Any help would be appreciated.
Any chance of US CSC's like TMB could be implemented?

The best way is to take any tar file (AP or whatever) and open it in 7zip. Then put yours files in it and delete all others that was inside
