Hey, today im im running complete stock. Only a 3rd-party home app.
The issue i noticed with the new .62 FW i got wifi drop issue. When i connect and go to browser, the wifi dropps out instantly when i go to a page, no matter strenght. My wifi policy setting are right.
The second one started after upgrading the poweramp to 2.0.5. When i launch the app sometimes it crashes once and every single running app on my phone restarts again and again. Only restart is the escape.
Aby ideas / solutions ??

My arc s problem when connect to wifi is not stable, always switch wifi-3g. Tethering often still on but can't browsing in netbook but internet still work when browsing in phone. Is there a way to restart driver without reboot phone?
And I have new problem, when screen off application will restart like when browsing it will refresh the web, so I need to keep the screen on until finish doing my task

I'll go back to the very beginning. I bought my Sony Xperia Acro S 1.5 half years ago. After a month it started to get slower and slower. Apps didn't crash, it usually get stuck in one action and snap out of it after a minute, it was pretty annoying. I decided to flash a custom ROM few months ago because i thought it would fix it. I was wrong. It just got worse. I flashed an Android Lollipop 5.0 by some ''dirtypaul'' . Now my apps crash all the time ( YouTube, Twitch, Google Chrome, Games, everything). Phones keyboard often doesn't even pop up. I can use youtube and twitch for about 5-10 minutes before it crashes. It kinda fixes for 30min when i restart my phone. It is really annoying and i don't know what to do. I live in a third world country so maybe i just got a faulty phone? Any tips or solutions on how to fix this will be appreciated.

I also have the same device as yours last March I installed his ROM 5.0 and I didn't found any bug and it's working incredibly great but I didn't like it that much so I came back to the original stock acro S ROM but after a month I also get stuck and the phone always get lag so I came back to BPaul Lollipop ROM and found out it has already released a new updated version 5.1.1 lag free and working incredibly good.. ?
After about 1,5 weeks of usage, the camera cannot be started anymore since a few hours.
Rebooted a few times already. There is a popup stating that the "camera could not be started, either reboot or restart the camera".
It worked a few hours ago and since then nothing happened with the phone.
I cleared the cache of the "camera" app and made a fresh start. Other camera apps also do not work.
What happened? :/
EDIT: I did a factory reset and the camera is working again...
Just out of curiosity what build were you on when this happened. I only noticed the problem after I updated to the latest update version ending in .225.
The only way I was able to fix it was by powering off the phone and then powering it back on because clearing the cache/restarting it didn't work. It worked fine for a while after the first power off but then it started giving me the same error after a few hours. So now I powered off a second time and it's been about 12 hours since and so far no issues....
Next time, take a bug report from developer settings, and post it in their official forum.
Had the same problem twice in the first week of the phone, looks like hang after U use the super slowmo and dont close the app. at least was both times after using the slowmo and just locking the phone
Just started getting this error in the last few days. Most of the time a reboot fixes the issue. Sometimes it takes several reboots. BTW, I did the most recent software update a couple weeks ago.
Had the same issue, it also causes a battery drain.
The app BetterBatteryStats showed a 100% kernel wakelocks of the process "Sony,camera_modules".
My battery drained from 100 to 40% in 4 hours with just 10 minute screentime.
I've expierenced camera cannot be started error now 8 times, rebooting temporary solves the problem...
Hopefully a OTA update will solve this problem.

Camera works but black screen, and after 3 or 4 times crashed.
The only fix is wait an update by sony??
Me too. Same problem. I had to Factory reset. It pissed me off....
Now sometimes it appears but i reboot and then goes back .
I confirm i have the same problem with the latest firmware but i have it one time with an old one to. For me it's happens when i close the camera app while i have the phone on horizontal. Some time to recover i just open the camera with the phone horizontally but sometimes i need to clear data and restart the phone to make it work again XD

I have my phone Edge X30 on CN Rom latest 12 Android , and activated google play services
And the phone is great and everything is great , just one single bug that is killing me.
Every few minutes the WIFI gets reset for some reason , like the WIFI disconnect from my network for 5 seconds then it comes back and I believe it happens in Mobile Data as well but am not sure , Sometimes when am on Youtube or some streaming app (cause you can notice it quickly) with Mobile Data the video pauses for a few seconds then comes back so I think its the same issue ,
And am 100 % sure its not my network its the device , other devices doesn't do that . and sometimes when this thing happen i try to quit what am doing but the phone hangs and gives me
System UI has stopped working (Wait or Quit) ,
Anyone have this issue and know any solution to it ?
