Back up case and accesories - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Accessories

I always tend to look really hard for a case or skin that I really like, which usually takes me awhile. So, while waiting i usually get something cheap to get me by. I ordered this from Amazon today. Things like this have came in handy in the past when i lost or damaged one of my better accessories. I'll let you know how it goes when I get it, but for $9.95+ $3.95 it's not bad if you are on a very tight budget. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005D0RIA2

Looks good

Trident Cyclops Case for $25

Everyone hurry up and order. I was surfing the net looking for a place that sells Trident Cyclops case at a discounted price when i came upon this website that is selling it for $24.95. That is $10 cheaper than anywhere else I looked at. I dont know how long this will last but if you want to get a good high quality case i suggest you order now. By the looks of it, it could be the otterbox alternative that we are looking for.

Black case arrived today. So far am impressed. Went on easy and seems solid. It fits the vibrant well, and the power and volume buttons are ready to press. Power burton may actually be easier to hit now.
I do not like the feel of the built in screen protector, and it will probably be gone soon.
For some retain I found it impossible to get swype to type actually. Took ten tries. I do not blame the case for that though.

Case is impressive
I got the red one today and so far I really enjoy it. My only problem is when it arrived there was dust and stuff on the side of the screen protector that goes on the screen. So it was hard to get off and kind of frustrating. Other then that went on easy and no complaints right now.
I got mine today too suprisingly fast shipping got it within the week even with the holidays. Yes dust seems to be the only problem but great case at a great price

eBay case shopping spree!

So I decided to get a case for my Galaxy Nexus... About 4 of them! I figured at $2 - $4 each, one of them has to be nice
I'm expecting them to arrive in about two-three weeks.
Are you guys interested in a review of each of them? I know some of you will only use expensive brand name cases, but I can't justify $40 for a piece of plastic, so the review might help those who just want to be frugal.
yes, reviews please!
I picked up this one for $4 - http://www.ebay.com/itm/270877978270?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
I'm happy with it, although the seller seems to have jacked up the price to $19. Not worth that much, but it's worth $4 for sure and it only took a week and a half to get it from HK.
Please do. I spent all my money on the nexus so I can only afford one ultra cheap case for it lol

it wont snap shut on the bottom of the phone. should fit the gsm version though
^^glad you said something I was just minutes away from purchasing that very case

I got this one, I really like it but I only put it on when I go running with my nexus, I normally never use cases otherwise on any of my phones.

I ordered a black one before you posted this!
Seller shipped a few hours after I made the purchase, so I had tracking. It came in 3 days from NY to Ohio.
It may say refurbished, but mine looks brand new. It came in the OEM packaging and all.
Its a great buy for anyone that needs one. IMHO, Id rather pay $9 for a quality case that will last over a no-name brand for $4.
Volume buttons are easy to push with the case on, has a nice "clicky" feel. The power button is a little difficult to press as others have reported, but it's not as bad as some say. I got used to it

Bought one a few days ago. I live in NY so i got it almost a day after. Came in a box and looked like new, even smelled like a new product. Great purchase, and a great case for the phone.
Posted the warranty question about this case on accessories section.

I have a case just like the one in the link, which i HATED to use. It fit my SGS2 like it was supposed to, it just was to much pressure turning my phone on and off. Like i really had to use a lot of force just to turn my phone on.
I ended up returning it.

Instead.of.explaining.it.i.will just say this
Google for the video mod for the case a small knife will fix the hard power press. Takes two.seconds cant tell it was done (visually that is..well worth it)

I just got mine today from the same seller. It says its refurbished, but it seems pretty brand new to me. Of course it is very hard to press the buttons like everyone says but I'm pretty happy with it for $9.

I had the same result. Fitment and look was really good. But it was a pain in the a$$ to use the volume and power buttons.

Here you go hope it works..let me know what combo of pix you want cause I got both phone and both color of case black one, and white one.
I just received my case, but it is not totally new. I saw some noticeable stretches and a dirty make on the case.
Recieved my case today. Not 100% more like 90%. Power button is hard to press. Other than that i like it

Same here, I've had one of the D30 hardback cases for about 3 months and it's cracking near the power and volume buttons.

Casemate barely There Brushed aluminum REVIEW

Yep,
Got this puppy, and god it looks sexy! that brushed aluminum gives a total different look to the phone. This is the color the phone shouldve been in the first place
only downside is the price..at 40bucks..its kinda expensive and its not super protective so ull feel like maybe its too much money for it.
Anyways, here it is!
http://youtu.be/kXkqFgsX5as
That's 30 dollars too much of the Maximum I'd pay for a non-otterbox.
$27 on eBay with free shipping. Not bad, I've been looking at some aluminum back covers for mine since I spend a lot of time in the woods and on rocks.

Got this one yesterday when I picked up my phone at the sprint store.
yeh its very pricy..
but it looks factory..
but I am second guessing myself for buying it. protection seems quite light.
This case has been proven to diminish data/gps signal on some other phones.
Could you do some back-to-back testing on the SIII to see if it has the same problem?
Put the phone on a table with the case on and run a speedtest.net test.
Then remove the case and put the phone back to the *exact same spot* on the table and run the test again.
See if the tests download data faster without the case on.

I agree 100 percent with u
If you guys like this case, I found a similar one on Amazon. Looks pretty much identical. Here's the link. When I got it, it was $10 plus free prime shipping, but now they have it listed with $4.99 shipping. Still looks really good though and it comes with a screen protector. I preordered my Galaxy S3 from Verizon, so I don't know how the fit is yet. But I'll let you know once the phone comes in.

I have this case and it provides a lot more protection than its being given credit for. My wife dropped my phone from about a 3 foot height directly onto concrete. The phone suffered no damage. I have 3 scuff marks on the front of the case and 2 on the back where the phone fell and took the impact (it fell, bounced, flipped, and landed on the opposite side)......again, zero damage to the phone, only to the case.

Hey for what it's worth I bought this case and replaced with a "rock" case. Downsides were that it is too slippery, degraded my signal, and was slightly too bulky to where the power and volume buttons were difficult to press because the lip over the front were too thick.
As for signal degradation I only say this anecdotally. In my basement I get 1-2 bars with the rock case. With the aluminum backed case I would get 0-1 bars and most text messages would fail to send.

While I appreciate the OP's reviews, they really need to invest in some better lighting...
Looks like someone put the body of a 89 Cadillac on a brand new Ferrari.

Yet another official bumper clone

http://amzn.com/B00HRTEKTY
Considering how the official Google bumper quality is questionable and expensive at $35, I've been looking into knock offs. There were a couple on amazon that were around the same price, but they're unavailable for sale now for some reason. Shenit as a blue case that is a bumper clone, and a couple of members have said the power and volume buttons are more responsive than the official Google bumper.
I'm thinking I might buy this case and try it for myself as a test of quality. $17 isn't cheap, but it's better than $35.
I just bought one so I will post back with my findings. I went with the black. I agree, it was a little steep in price and I have about 6 cases already so I need it like I need a hole in the head, but come on... It says NEXUS on the back!
Yeah I have two on order as well. Who knows how long it will take but I'll try to remember to put some pics of the blue and gray ones
