Hello,
I Have an Unrooted Desire that won't get past the HTC screen. I have been searching the sire for ages and can'tfind anything that will let me recover the phone.
I have tried wiping everything from the bootload screen to no avail. (HBOOT-0.93.0001)
Is there an Update.zip that it will use without complaining about signage that will re-flash the phone?
PLEASE PLEASE HELP.

Hello.
First of all this should be moved to Q&A Forum.
Second. How did you get it here? Did you try to flash a RUU? Explain in more detail please.
You could try the following and see if it works. This should get you to stock ROM.
You should make a gold card (search the forum, you'll sure find it how to, and you don't need your phone to make one), then get the latest RUU and extract the PB99IMG from it (here HOW TO -2nd Post), then put it on the root of your SD Card and then boot into the bootloader (Volume Down + Power) and it will start automatically. You'll get back to stock with no ROOT or S-OFF.
If you need to mound SD Card try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=531310 , maybe it can help you.
To create a goldcard see this: http://www.nazriawang.com/2010/04/ho...th-ubuntu.html

I really hope someone can help me. I can not use my HTC Desire anymore.
I am using Cyanogenmod for a long time and really like it. The version I am on no is the 7.1 RC 1 mod.
This morning my phone said my sd card was damaged. It was, I had to format it in windows and the SD is empty now.
The problem I now have is a boot loop when I turn my phone on. With or without the sd card installed.
I think I have to wipe my phone but how can I do this, or how can I restore a complete new Cyanogenmod install?
Thanks very much for any support!
John
Start by posting it in the Q&A section next time.
Well how did you install cyanogen for the first time?
You install it in the same way this time as well.
Wipe in recovery & flash the .zip

yes my friend
I can do?
JTAG or Gold card will help you!!!
Or you could just, you know, read the HSPL/RSPL thread. The one that's stickied at the top of the forum. The one with big red text telling you not to do what you did. The one with a link to the thread that's already discussing what to do if you ignore the big red text.
Alternatively, go ahead and create a new thread, spamming the forum and wasting the time of everybody, yourself included.

You need to create a gold card with the correct rom for your device and put it into usb host mode.
you should have READ IT CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU INSTALL th RSPL/HSPL.

put the ROM on your SD card if you didn't do it before ..
Did you flash new boot.img of the ROM you're about to flash ??
after these , install zip from SD card
So now he has managed to install recovery. You now need to flash the boot.img from the rom you wish to use via fastboot as well as the rom.zip file via recovery. As mentioned above, follow all steps in the guide.
PS! You can expect some flaming as you should post these types of questions in the Q&A section
Thanks and I apologize for posting in the wrong section. Is there anyway I can move or delete it.
I actually realized my mistake and posted in the Q&A already. But cant seem to figure how to delete this three
I apologize again

No worries, you can't move it. I have reported it to a mod to move to the correct section.

Hi, forgive me if this is not the correct place for this but I am at a dead end with my struggles. I have an HTC One M9 that I managed to delete the OS & Recovery. I finally managed to get TWRP 3.0 back on it and when I try to install the OS (ViperOneM9_6.0.0) & Gapps it goes into a bootloader loop. All goes well throughout install process but I just cant get it to work. Can anyone PLEASE point me in the right direction, I've been w/o a phone for going on 3 months now.
P.S. If it helps at all it says developers edition and my carrier is MetroPCS (Tmobile)

Thank You. It doesn't have an OS Right now, could you be more specific about what you would need (format of the info possibly, or an example. I am fairly tech savy but have very little android internal experience)

Your OS version will come up regardless of whether you have a ROM installed. Check out the readme thread for how to use fastboot to pull the information.

First step of what? Are following a guide, like this one: https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/help/tutorial-how-to-stock-stock-twrp-t3086860
Anyway, it's not bricked (at least, probably not). It just won't boot. Did something happen to the phone that caused this condition?

You want the stock TWRP backup 6.12.111.4 from the above linked collection. It's the number on your getvar output "version main" as well as the OS number on the bootloader screen of the phone.
Hey Man , yeah it's not bricked it just got ****ed up during an update .
yes i followed the tutorial in the link u have attached and the ROM u suggested didn't work for me :/
On the bootloader screen, is the OS number in red font, or anything in parenthesis?
You might try to flash the firmware. But to do this, you will need to relock the bootloader, flash the firmware, then unlock the bootloader again, flash TWRP, and the stock TWRP backup 6.12.111.4
File for 6.12.111.4 firmware is on the following post (it's Post #5 of the same thread as before), with instructions on how to flash are at the end of the post.
No i don't think so ,
no there's no red number or parentheses as u can check here https://ibb.co/ivpY6R

Didn't work, meaning what? Stuck with no boot on HTC logo screen, or something else?
