i am looking for a -Transparent App Drawer.zip so that i can zip it over my Cool AceS rom, i have search all the forums and i couldn't find it
i was also looking for Rosie 3d which allows the home screen to rotate in 3d, is it possible to get this as a add-on (zip) over my ROM

Hiya guys & girls! Did a quick search but could not find any answers.
I've recently upgraded to Villision 1.0 & while its amazing I can't stand ADWLauncher, I miss the 3D app draw (Sad I know!) Is there a way to replace the laucher with the Stock 2.2 & if so how can I do this?

ADW EX is the latest, upgrade. Not that I use it myself. I think there are options in the Preferences to select 3d or 4d app drawer,... give it a bash.
Otherwise you just need to use an alt launcher. Launcher2 is the default android Launcher, google it. LauncherPro is another alternative, though it has a standard 2d app drawer by default (select 3d in LauncherPro settings).
Or just search launcher in the market and download the one by Eugene. Its the stock gingerbread launcher with 3d app drawer

I find just using an alternate launcher gives me problems like when sending shortcuts to the 'desktop' so to speak it sends then to the defult launcher & not the one I'm using.
I'm after a way to fully replace the defult launcher (un-install it) & replace it with another. I was thinking of using titianum to un-install ADW & then just leave me with the one installed & see if that does it.
Unless there is a better way?

Depends on the launcher. I'm not sure how other launchers handle it but in ADW (EX) you just can longpress a shortcut icon to assign a new icon to it
I would also recommend ADW Launcher - has lots of free themes in the App Market, too & great settings customisation

Same process as ADW for launcher pro, long press change icon> custom icon (presuming you have some custom icons) .....
Ummm I want to change the icons of my home menu not the icons from my launcher. I can't figure it out tbh... just doesn't work the way you say it. Am I doing something wrong?

Ths DHD screen is so big that we are frustrated of the "just" 4x4 icons on the desktop. But I found the excellent app widgetsoid that gives you the possibility to put 4,5 or even 6 icon where you can only put 4 This is my favorite app.

I have a little question.
So im using a Sense 3.5 Hybrid rom and i hate the sense icons for some apps (Camera, Browser, Messages, People, ect) and some of them you can change using shortcut apps but some dont like the Messages app.
So i was wondering how can I change the icon possibly in the apk file so it stays permanantly not just with a shortcut (sort of what the SNS Gingerbread rom has http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1131217)
You can use a Desktop Visualizer widget and the icon will stick. Since it's a widget, the system can't change it.
If you want to change the icon permanently, you can either use something like Metamorph or Ninjamorph or you can pull the apk and modify it, then push it back. I haven't ever tried theming Sense, so perhaps someone with more knowledge on the subject can help you out.

hi all,
been having issues with rosie apk in arhd 7.0.4. ive been theming as you can see in my thread in themes and app section.
i have been able to theme the standard rosie with the new png's, i did have problems in the beginning but it worked eventually,
if i try to flash a rosie like patrick83 4x5 app drawer ultrasmooth rosie, or i theme and modify my own 4x5 app drawer and ultra smooth rosie. the app wont open and just leaves a black screen with only the status bar visible
i push my standard themed one back and it just starts back up again with no problems.
i dont have any problems with any other apk from arhd 7.0.4
im using the latest apkmanager.
has anyone else experienced this?
