hi all,
been having issues with rosie apk in arhd 7.0.4. ive been theming as you can see in my thread in themes and app section.
i have been able to theme the standard rosie with the new png's, i did have problems in the beginning but it worked eventually,
if i try to flash a rosie like patrick83 4x5 app drawer ultrasmooth rosie, or i theme and modify my own 4x5 app drawer and ultra smooth rosie. the app wont open and just leaves a black screen with only the status bar visible
i push my standard themed one back and it just starts back up again with no problems.
i dont have any problems with any other apk from arhd 7.0.4
im using the latest apkmanager.
has anyone else experienced this?

I am using an HTC Incredible w/CM6.1 and LauncherPro. I'd like to know if there is a way to hide the text under the icons in the app drawer to leave just the icons. I found a few mods for "Rosie" that do this, but I don't know what Rosie is, much less how to make those work for my setup.
Anyone think they could help?
Rosie is the Sense launcher, so it won't help you with LauncherPro.
I'm not a LP guy, but I do know that ADW can do what you're looking for. I don't see why LP wouldn't have the option too...

I have a little question.
So im using a Sense 3.5 Hybrid rom and i hate the sense icons for some apps (Camera, Browser, Messages, People, ect) and some of them you can change using shortcut apps but some dont like the Messages app.
So i was wondering how can I change the icon possibly in the apk file so it stays permanantly not just with a shortcut (sort of what the SNS Gingerbread rom has http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1131217)
You can use a Desktop Visualizer widget and the icon will stick. Since it's a widget, the system can't change it.
If you want to change the icon permanently, you can either use something like Metamorph or Ninjamorph or you can pull the apk and modify it, then push it back. I haven't ever tried theming Sense, so perhaps someone with more knowledge on the subject can help you out.

In this video this guy is running RCMix 3D and the Revolution Sense Theme, only I can't find any version of it that has that style of Rosie Navbar. Unless I am being blind, or that is in fact not Rosie and some other Launcher.

I was wondering if anyone has that issue in JellyBean.
The popup to choose widgets has black text on a black background which makes it difficult to see the list.
I use a custom rom : Android Revolution HD 6.0.0.
blame the custom rom.

oh it is rom related.
the launcher they are using does not have the correct colors for JB.
the stock JB launcher, does not allow you to choose widgets in that way.
So, it is related to Apex Launcher then ?
I get normal white text on a dark grey bg on PA 1.9.1 and the Apex launcher.
I need help for MOD the ICS 4.1/4.0+ Sense Launcher:
- infinite scrolling home screen and application drawer
- make transparent application drawer background of Roise.apk
Any body know how, please help or advice me what to do ?
