Help! Any way to repair my arc?
My Arc went dead after incorrect TaMisc restore via Omnius.
Can't switch on.
PC can't detect phone.
Can't charge.
No vibrate, no led, completely dead when try to switch on.
Anyone?
Guys? Anyway I can revive my dead Arc?
Reflash it

If the PC does not see it he cant flash it, have you had any joy getting the phone up and running?

I was using my phone, downloading some wallpapers n all. and suddenly my phone hangs and get restarted. After that when it got restarted it is not responding. My phone get started, shows that i have some messages and missed calls but it doesnot respond, neither buttons are working and after few seconds display goes black.
Just reflash using the flashtool using the same rom, but don't wipe data and see if that helps.

With flashing i'll loose my warranty, is there any other way..? My phone is brand new, neither rooted
Use SEUS or PC Companion then if you're worried about warranty, but the flashtool is the preferred method.

How to reinstall the firmware using PC Companion? When i go to software update to reinstall the firmware, it shows me to drop down the notification bar and select USB connect. But i cant do that as my phone is not working. Help pls

If you can't get in flashmode (which requires the phone to be off) then it's a trip to the service center, or contact Alejandrissimo or Jinx13 for remote help.
hi..i was trying to flash ics 4.0.4 on my friend phone which is orange branded..it can't flash vendor.sin neither system.sin...and phone is bricked and i can't go back to 2.3.4 any solution?
You need to use pc companion with phone in flash mode and reflash the phone again.

Hi.
So, i tried to update my sony ericsson xperia arc using PC COMPANION from the sony website. then it said that update failed, so i unplugged my phone (OFF) and when i tried to turn it on. it just vibrate and the sony ericsson logo doesn't appear. i hold the on button for a while and it just vibrates, please tell me what to do. THANKS!
Is ur bootloader opened?
If so tray flash the update trough the flashtool

Use flashtool to flash any firmware You want to your phone or use seus if you didnt unlocked your bootloader never use pc companion I bricked mine twice using pc companion

I have a xperia play r800a here....it doesn't turn on......
I can conect it on my computer on flash mode.....
I tryed to flash some roms using flashtools, but it didn't work.....
The screen is black....it vibrates, but only this.....
I tryed a rom, and it appears the sony logo, but it keeps looping.....
Someone help me please!!!!

Do you have cwm or anything? Will it connect in flashtool?

When powered off, connect to charger. Does it show kernel logo? Or even charging icon? If it show charging icons, power up without disconnecting charger.

No, nothing apears....
When i try to turn it on, it only vibrates....
I can concet it on flash mode....or download mode....when i press "return" and connect it on computer....
Hard to say what is wrong...
Maybe damaged bootloader, but can be simply bad slider flex cable
