I think sprint can do that if you call customer sercice. Never checked if there is a setting in the os its self. Or you can just press *67 before dialing a number each time.

If you want it permanently blocked you can do it from your account on sprint.com. you just go to "changes to my services." Or something similar on the right side of the screen.

Will it still have the option to force roam in the menus?
I remember cm6 on the hero had the option and was wondering if it'd be sthe same

It should, updated software doesn't typically remove features, unless there was a big problem.

Isn't sprint free after 7? Or does that not count for international?

Ok I recently replaced my Evo through Asurion and when I got my phone I noticed it wasn't new, it was refurbished. In order for me to root it using revolutionary, I need the S/N to generate a beta key. My phone doesn't have the S/N on the back like the first one did. But there is one on the battery with 14 digits alone with the P/N. I was wondering if that is the correct amount of digits and if that's what I should enter to generate the beta key
Please help because I really need some root/sense 3.0 love these days

If revolutionary reads your device it will tell you your S/N

I just activated the calller ID display and voicemail on my phone, but I can't listen to my messages... when I long-press 1 on the phone it just calls my number and says I'm busy and ask me to leave a message , like it would do for anyone calling me. Do you know ehre this problem comes from?
Thanks!

If you just activated new features it may be related to your account. Call your carrier and see if its on their end. Thatd be my first step.

I went to the store abd they told me it was software related, and of course they blamed CM10..

Have you tried entering 123 on the dial pad and pressing call

If you're on cm10, have you tried going back to stock to test it?

Is there one? Does it work well?

Voicemail? Or is there an app called vmail?
I've been using Google voice. I switched over from the Sprint VVM when I made the move to CM10. I don't know if VVM works on 10.1 builds. GV works well and I don't get the extra text 9016 notification anymore like earlier CM versions.

Yeah I was wondering if there was a voicemail app that worked. I just called it vmail for short. I'm tired of those 9016 notifications and having the app is just so convenient.

Yeah, I've been pretty happy with Google voice. It seems to function as well as Sprint's network allows.

I'm checking it out. Are u forced to use its other features or can you just set it up so u only use voicemail?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using xda app-developers app
Just voicemail. I can't remember exactly what to select, but just pay attention when you set it up. You can change settings easily from your Google account on a computer if needed. Do a quick search on how to setup GV without it taking over, that should give you the info you need.
