Hi folks,
I've just gotten my phone onto Amethyst-rc8. So far so good, no major issues.
But, somehow I cannot get Google Maps, Latitude...
1. Via market.app I cannot find the app.
2. Via market.android.com - message: This item is not available on your carrier.
Before I was using oxygen-rc7, I haven't faced this problem. Any clue?
For now managed to get around with marketenabler...
Hi,
Recently my Lumia 900 is not finding it's location when I use apps like Bing Search or Yelp. When using the built in Bing search it finds my search request but when I click on the directions icon it is unable to find my location and gives me a No Location Information error.
The only app that consistently gets my location is Nokia Drive. I'm getting frustrated that many of the apps that use location are not working. I've enabled location sharing for the phone and all the apps to no avail.
Anyone else seeing this? Any suggestions?
TIA!

Mine is doing the same thing. It used to work fine. Over the last several weeks it has been getting worse. I've uninstalled most of the apps that have access to location to see if they were causing some interference with something but nothing is working. Local Scout fails to load anything half the time now, too. Nothing has changed with my phone. Never dropped, never abused, and used to work like a charm.

To be honest I can't tell if Local Scout works well or not. It never has what I want (like an option to search) so I just use better apps like Yapf or Yelp. I do know that it took a while for my location to be correctly determined when I was in NYC this past weekend. Today on a drive from southern Vermont to northern New Hampshire, my Nokia Drive lost GPS a few times. It took 5 or so minutes before it was back on track.
Do you guys also have issues with losing/having an incorrect GPS location while using Maps or Nokia Drive?
I want to be able to download and run application that are provided in both countries. I have tried Market Enabler, but without any success. Can someone suggest a solution to have access to both countries applications provided in google play store?
pm sent
Get a SIM card from both countries, use Wi-Fi. Done.
(Granted getting said cards may prove difficult at times, but this solution will continue to work; I don't think Google would want to block Play from people who happen to be traveling abroad.)

did you figure out how to do it?
Hello XDA community,
I'm looking forward to try and actually emulate my travel card. It's called a Rav Kav, and the location of it is Israel. From what I've seen you are required to edit the NFC configuration file to somehow maybe emulate a physical card. I tried an app that requires root. It unfortunately shows me a message "NFC configuration file is invalid". So I tried another app. This app might've worked, but I'm not sure because when I tried the scanner app it didn't white register. I'm still experimenting with the app it seemed to work in, but suspiciously it doesn't require root.
I thought of a couple things and I thought maybe entirely flashing a new rom would work? I honestly don't know. And also I'm not planning on using Samsung Pay or Google Pay anytime soon as these two don't support any israelian banks, so what's the point.
Any solutions?
Bump. Wow really old post, but any answers?
