Please help me! (root related)

i cannot post in the developer section yet so im posting it here.
hello! about two weeks ago i booted my xperia play r800i on 2.3.3 with this method:

today i tried to access a superuser app. my xperia freezed like a screenshot.
when i try to boot it it shows me the SE logo for about 3 minutes then goes to a static-ish picture. i cant access the os. ive tried everything (removing sd or sim). also when it is plugged into the outlet (charging) its stuck on the SE logo
i cant boot it D: D;
is is bricked?! and if not is there anything i can do to fix this?!
please answer!

Try a repair update using SE update service or use flashtool.

i tried the SE Service update AND the flashtooll .................
i should consider that i AM bricked , or is there SOMETHING else i could try?

Have you tried wotanserver.com
Otherwise, my guess is it might be a hardware issue, not a software one (because flashtool/update service/wotan server return your phone to stock. meaning if something was f*ed up, it should be fixed...)

Just use the Sues tool (aka. sony's flashing tool) and have it flash the latest update. If that doesn't work just tell your carrier that it did this after you installed and OTA update and maybe they'll give you a new one.

Last Evening I tried the SE update service . right away it didnt work , so i posted , that my phone is still bricked. Today at school about 12 hours after i used the SE update service and the phone was "dead" it FINALLY booted to the os! Yay! im no longer bricked!

So........ the issue has continiued , after two weeks of perfect performance.
well....i guess the screen is to blame here , because when i touch it in places , that i know a button exists i can feel the vibration!
Ive been playing paintball and running around with the phone in my pocket , so i guess ill have to start saving money for a screen repair
So root wasn't here to blame.

[WAIT HELP] Hard - Bricked Xperia S LT26i

Hi guys.
I opened my bootloader. And tried 3-4 roms. They were working nice. Then i wanted to install another rom. Its DooMLoRd-Jeak rom.
I done all right. And it said its okey. I looked on my phone. Its power off. I pressed to my power button but it vibrates for 1 time. I tried to charging but not matters. There is NOT led. If I press volume up+ power + camera button it vibrates for 3 times.
How can i repair it, can someone help me?

hey could u share us how u save it ?

Is your phone able to go to Flashmode or Fastboot mode?? If so, try flashing the original .ftf and see.. Here's the link..

This link has the firmware link as well as rooting method.. Do read clearly.. If u don't know how to use flashtool, use google.. U can always google for finding out the solutions for these kind of problems..

[Q] Need help with LT28at

Hello guys, need your help.
My wife was updating her LT281t to LT28at_6.1.C.1.111 via Sony Companion, when she came to the 5th step, "Press and hold volume down while connecting USB cable" she did but couldn't get into flashmode, unplugged the cable to try again and nothing happened. Now the phone wont bootup, she is crying cause of her phone.
Is there a way to make it boot up???

You should be able to continue the install from sony companion by following the step. i had to unplug mine twice before i could get it to work. that also assumes the device isnt bricked by this issue. and if it is im not sure how to fix this issue might i suggest looking here:

Yea read that thread linked and you should be able to get it going again. The key is patience though. If you rush the steps you will start all over again. I had to charge mine for almost 36 hours before I got it back running again.

Thank you all for your comments. I had read the thread linked. At the end I could recover the phone. Had to let it charge for about 4 or 5 hours, then I could do a soft reboot and it did boot againg.
For now my wife is quite happy and forgot about upgrading at least till JB comes out.

Hello, Everyone,
I'm so glad that I find this forum here.
Please help me out!!! I tried to root my Note2 last night.(I bought the verizon version two weeks ago) I thought it was almost done and it showed PASS! Then the cell started rebooting but could not stop.
I called Costco, where I bought the phone. But they said we can't help you. Now I can't receive phone called because basically the phone can't be on. It just keeps rebooting itself. Please help...

Wrong forums... you have a Verizon model.
However, check here and read section 1A as this can help you return to stock. Good luck.

I might have to post again over there. so far, i checked a lot of ways but none fits my situation. The problem is that the phone can't be put into download mode [with phone off, hold vol. down + home + power ]. When you do that, it pops up the starting image and keeps rebooting itself. It can not be connected to computer as it is always dead.

[Q] Nokia X Completely Dead ! Help !!!

Well i've been doing a lot of flashing since i bought my nokia x....
I've flashed lewa...Vanilla aosp and cm 10 by dhacker29...
But i was facing the incall mic issue in vanilla aosp....i switched to cm 10....
then i began to face reboot issues.... :/
I Used lewa for the very first time...it is the most stable rom...
Now the silly part...
The superSu couldn't grant permissions....it needed to update binaries and always failed !
My recovery also stopped working (TWRP) And when i pressed the volume up and power button it just gets stuck on nokia logo...
then i used the adb method....same result ! waiting for device and stuck on nokia logo !
MY Laptop prompted to format the disk...which i ACCIDENTALLY did !
Now my phone wont even vibrate after pressing power button,,,
i tried charging it...Removing battery and all....but nothing !
Adb...nokia x flasher does not recognize my phone....
Please Guys i need help regarding this or i won't be getting any phone for 2 years (until i'm in college)
I Believe in XDA And i know u guys can help me!

When i connect my dead nokia x with pc....my pc detects it as Qualcom device :/

Atleast it shows some sort of life !
i think the whole phone is empty bcoz of the formattion....
My PC CAn detect it so something can be done for it,,,

he already formatted the bootloader, so the only solution is go to Nokia Care

thanks for the help I had successfully rooted my device and it was working fine but I've formatted sys/boot and then my device got bricked. I ve installed quallcom driver but its not detecting fastboot [vol- and without battery]
Please help me out? What should I do now to recover it??

if you press volume down and power button, "nokia" word still come up?

same as mine, there is no other method or guide to revive our bricked Nokia X yet except Nokia Service Center.

I dont think bootloader can be restored using only usb connection.
Probably some other devices are available to service center like JTAG..doplhinclip...which can be used to re-write the boot partition

Lol, Im not alone in this.
Did same thing by accident. googled for how-to restore the phone. But it did not seem possible to be done. So I sent it to Nokia Care.
Those guys at the Nokia office laughed for a long time, when I told them a story " how I got a new shiny green brick ".
Told me the repairs would take 2 weeks and cost arond $30

Called to Nokia Care. They fixed the phone by changing the celluar module ( maybe with the whole motherboard ).
That means that bootloader can not be fixed, at least for now.

Well Nokia has just replaced my device with a new one after 3 weeks

I got my device back frm care center..
They replaced the motherboard...as the phone was dead they didn't knew i rooted my phone...n i claimed my warranty

plz i need your help bro. i mistakinly installed "insecure kernel" on my rooted Nokia XL device using NokiaX mgr. sinced then my fone homescreen button not workin and we press power button to wake up. it displays ink whc covers d screen frm seein the menu. how can i remove this insecure kernel so my device can work properly.,

Just flash back the original kernel...
