Hello XDA!
I was just wondering, is it possible to take the .apk's off a HD Sense ROM and put them in a normal Sense ROM? I'm having trouble getting a decent Desire HD Sense ROM to work right, and I was thinking if I was able to take certain .apk's off the HD ROMs and merging them with the normal Desire ROM I'm about to install.
Is that possible?
Short answer: No. Totally different environment...
I only know that you can get the flipping clock widget to work on 2.0 and up...

Linkage?
ANY Widgets (espeshially the People Widget) that can be ported from the HD Sense UI to the normal Desire UI will be like a godsend

Hi,
I have an HTC Desire with rcmix s 1.6.1 and my weather widget shows the country instead the city I live in (Romania instead Sighetu Marmatiei)
Any ideas of how could this be fixed?

Excuse me?? It´s not possible to rotate homescreen on stock desire hd rom´s..
CM 7 is the only one that has it working yet.. Ohh and BeatMod FlyerSense of course..
I know for sure that Virtuous Unity 1.27.0 can't rotate home screen. But you can install GO Launcher, which can rotate home screen, appdrawer 4x5, 5x5, home screen 5x5 sized... I tried it but I didn't liked homescreen rotation, everything was deformed and too much overlaped. But it's only me.

Its in relation to the launcher that you use, in Sense, well obviously Sense UI but if you install LauncherPro which is free from the Market, it will allow the rotation of the homescreen. One of the smoothest launchers avaliable.
does anyone know how to activate rotating rosie for virtuous unity 1.27
Not going to happen until HTC make it for us.

there is no rotating rosie as there havent been any htc phones with sense 3.0 that have rotating rosie.
Unity does not have a rotating rosie. If you want sense 3.0 and a rotating rosie, you would need to use the doubleshot rom

THE ONLY ROM WITH ROTATING ROSIE WAS THE DESIRE Z 2.2 ROM. NO OTHER ROSIE ROM HAS HAD IT BEFORE!

Except for Virtuous Doubleshot, and RMK's Doubleshot port.
And also the now abandoned HTC Flyer port.

Where i can find to install HTC sense 3.0 weather with same animations and sounds? I have HTC desire hd and i had this weather app with older android system sense 3.0, now i have ICS 4.0.4 and i don't have this weather, because is the best?
