I've tried to clear the data and still get the failed instal error
There its plenty of space on both my sim and internal
What simple stupid thing did I over look

Like thar makes sence w000t

Does the market load and after you click update or whatever you get an error? Do you have background data turned off?

Tmobile at least in the us requires a data connection. If you have background data turned off you should get a warning message when trying to open the market.
But if that's not the case what you said should work..and if not...reflash lol
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA Premium App

Yea as I said yesterday clearing data didn't work
And I hate to say I did reflash and that didn't work
I can go to market and dowload/update but when installing fails "unsucessful not enough storrage"
Tve got 1.03 gigs internal and a couple gigs on the sim avaible... if background is off I can't do anything in market...
Thanks

(Help) Sense restarts all the time !

Something that is really ticking me off after I updated my phone to 4.24, is that most of the time when i go into any app , and go back to the home page, the white and green HTC logo pops up and sense loads all over again ! Anyone else having this bug?

My phone just started doing that, it seemed to happen right after installing Google Plus. Do you have Google Plus installed?
I suggest backing up ur SD card and formating it and doing a fresh install of Rom. That's what worked for me.

He's on the stock unrooted (and unrootable) rom. Backing up everything isn't really possible. His only option along those lines would be a hard reset with some data loss (of course most of the big things can be backed up or synced). If I were in that situation, I'd want to try other things first.
LiL xSOULJAx, it sounds like you're running low on memory. When you go into another app, it's killing the launcher, so it has to restart when you press the home button. If you're talking about this happening when you go into a game or something that probably does take a lot of memory itself, there's not much you can do. But if it happens with every app, even relatively simple ones, you should check under Applications -> Manage -> Running and see if there's anything running in the background that takes a lot of memory. If you see something hungry you can live without, try uninstalling it.
Thanks alot for the info ! Yes i do have google plus but im about to uninstall alot of apps and see if it helps , thanks again

Here is a lot of info, that will show that a factory reset helps some, but the awaited update will be the only resolution, That is if they don't screw it up also:

Well now my issue is all over since they I rooted yesterday ! Its amazing how fun rooting is lol, the whole process is mindblowing !
Are you running a task killer? If you end up killing the calendar app that's running in the background, it will reboot sense like 50 percent of the time.

Android Market not showing all downloaded apps in "my apps" section??

I've had this issue with the Android Market 3.1.5 (and lower) - stock 2.3.4, no root.
Usually if I get a notification that I have an app update and click on it, it takes me to the my apps section however there are only the paid apps i've bought sitting there. Not the other 90 apps that I've downloaded free.
I go and clear data and that works sometimes. And other times it doesn't. I've submitted the problem to Google but I was wondering if others see this behavior and if there are any work arounds???? It's real frustrating.
I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the Market. Rebooted phone, pulled battery. Even done a factory reset. This happens on my E4GT and my Evo4G.

If you restored a backup chances are market links were restored and you will have to wait for an update or unstall and reinstall the app

I have the same issue, I prefer the older market version (wich does show all my apps, and shows the updates better also), but it wont allow me to keep it from updating for some reason, even if I freeze market updater.
it always upgrades to 3.15 after a few times going into market
this has been happening to me since I got the phone. I rooted and then went back to stock kernel, which kept me rooted. I restored my titanium backup apps with data and I believe that may have something to do with it.
as soon as I see that I have updates I know I will have to go to applications and clear data and reopen and it will then show me all of my apps again.
I talked with Google's Market help today. They know about this and are trying to figure it out.

Kill the bird

Streight to bussiness.
I went to My Apps in the market so i can update them. At the bottom I noticed I have one not installed app which is twitter. When i rooted my phone i deleted twitter and facebook. I searched my phone to see if maybe i missed an apk or file of twitter and thats why it is shown as not installed. But my phone is clean. What can i do to get rid of the blue devil bird?

I think you have two options:
Embrace it for what it is =p
or
do a reboot and see if it's still there
(with the second one probably the option you're best going to want)
Or delete market data, reboot, and check if its still there

I tried rebooting. I even deleted my sd card, super wiped my phone and reinstalled the rom. Then i deleted any trace of the app from my phone again. And yet it is still there. Damn you hipster bastards

Same problem here man, maybe frying the god damn bird will help. It is annoying to get notifications for the Twitter application and especially when you don't even have the app installed.

A dev should make an app the will Terminate apps like that and call it Mongoose.
Also, an app that blocks ads in apps for rooted phones. You are welcome for the idea

Insufficient memory to install apps???

Im trying to download this app. I have the .apk file. When I try downloading it, the message comes up saying 'could not be installed. 'Free up some space and try again'. Why does this come up when I clearly have 100mb free on internal and 4 gigs on external?
Try app cache cleaner

Never mind, just a quick Google search and found my answer. A bizarre answer. If you have lucky patcher installed then select the option ' fix insufficient memory '. This helped me.
Why do you even have Lucky Patcher?

Worked 4 m3!!!
Ok just wanted to spread a little of the bacon bits of awesomeness that is titanium backup.
I have been going through page by page just like you gents with the other jazz see?!
Well here are the bits that worked for me.
Spec:
Motorola droid3
At&t
Jail-B
Custom ROM : Maverick 4.5
I went and "Goggled a special build of TB.
next I found the opposite of "the lock" to download.
Once fixed, up and running got to Restore/install tab on the top.
find google play and the "Google services"
Wipe the data for both and then delete them.
Find a new ask to download and replace the old ones.
Once finished say yes to the prompts and go reload your Apps!
Hope it helps, if it dose; good!
If it doesn't your grounded go to your room!
you have more programing to do!

Error: "Insifficent storage available"

Anybody has encountered this message when updating apps from the store?

Most stock builds have a point it wont let you go past for apps. So if you have something like only 10% free on internal, it may not let you install any more. How much storage do you have left?
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda app-developers app

When I got that message, long story short, it was because I got a paid app for free and tried to use a license key app. Bottom line, pay for the app the honest way.
