I'm getting this weird popup message every time i launch the android stock browser, plus a few random times when i load a page. I'm running latest Oxygen-TEST, see sig for further info. The browser works well, but it's a bit annoying.
Does anybody know why i'm getting this and what it means? I started having this issue after i installed Opera, hard to tell wether this is related to that or not: i uninstalled it but no luck, the popup still appears.
Edit: I attached another screenshot. It seems like the developer console is showing many similar errors, even when the popup doesn't come up. I really have no clue...
Edit2: A full wipe followed by a clean installation didn't help, i'm still getting this popup message.
Adblocking is causing it at a guess.

Actually it seems like this fixed itself after a while...after a wipe that didn't help at all i just restored my (bugged) nandroid and the problem disappeared, weird...

I've installed NullKB, and it appears in the list of available SIPs.
However whenever selecting it, the default keyboard is always shown.
No way to get NullKB.
ROM details at signature. Any ideas?
Always to many erratic problems with SIPs on WM...
i have exactly the same problem. would be grateful for any suggestions.

It seems to be a common problem.
Mine can't be selected too!
NullKB not selectable here
I miss nullkb working. The popup keyboard is annoying me to death. I have the latest nullkb version and I can see the option when I hit the flag, but the keyboard comes up when I select nullkb. Rats! Any hope here folks?
I also have that problem after I opened up a few apps, but null keyboard does work fresh from a soft reset without opening apps first. It would be nice if we can run null keyboard off from start after the soft reset.
Hero's!
I've recently upgraded to WM6 (Australian ROM) and what I found is that sometimes (yes, sometimes... sigh....) when I close the Phone tab after I have made/received a call, the top of my screen still shows "Phone" next to the windows start logo, and my start menu is closed and freezed. So I can see the today screen, the only part of the phone tab that remains and cannot be closed is the bar at the top. Ihave to perform a soft reset to "fix" it.
I have some 3rd party stuff installed on my device:
Spb Pocket Plus and Spb GPRS Monitor.
Anyone has/had the same issue and has a solution?
Thnx in advance.
Cheers. Arend
What I noticed is that it doens't just concern my phone tab. It happened to my settings - and programs tab to.
And I do not need to make a softreboot. Just turning the device off and on using the powerbutton is enough.
Still, issue remains, any takers on this subject?
Sounds like a screen refresh problem. i would try uninstalling the additional software one at a time to see if the problem stops when you have removed something.

Thanks.
Deinstalled the 3rd party software. Issue remains. Still, it's not a real big deal. I mean, I will get by. I will just have to hit the powerbutton once in a while.
Still, maybe I will give device a hard reset and use it without any modifications. See if that works.
Any other suggestions.
Go for the hard reset, if that fails to fix the problem I would reflash the ROM. If that doesn't fix it, it might be the AUS ROM that is causing the issue with your network.

I agree with all above expect the part of "it might be the AUS ROM that is causing the issue with your network".
What i think might be possible is that the ROM conflicts with my P3600, since it isn't a Dopod.
But as you suggested, I'm going to give it a hard reset.
Hi, im running AndroidNow 6.1 and since i installed ot for the first time(version 3.2) my launcher crushes every once n awhile.
It happens with stock, google, nova or any other launcher - i prefer stock.
What happens really is, when i press home/back to exit an app to the homescreen, there pops the recent apps screen(with no open apps visible)and when i press home again to exit this screen , i see blank home page and then the icons refresh and everything reload. Latet when i open the app drawer i experience a little lag that the icons are reloaded also.
What seems to be the problem? Im rooted and ive got clean master but i dont think its related.
Please help me, thanks.
Am i the only one who experience this?
Happened to me few times. You are using 3rd party launcher?
Ps. You dont need clean master
i use the stock one,but it happned with all . why shouldn't i use it?
Tell me why you should?
This devices does not need that. It does more harm then use.
I love the feature that it prevents apps from starting on boot up.
Do you know how to solve my problem with the launcher crash?
I have the exact same problem.
This happened with the stock ROM and any launcher I tried.
Then I flashed a custom ROM (based on stock though), progressively reinstalled applications and after some time, the problem came again. Then, I progressively froze some applications with Titanium Backup, and now it happens much less than before (2-3 times a day against everytime I press "home").
My conclusion is that, even though that's a launcher crash we see, the fault probably comes from a background application. I'm still searching which one. Did you find something interesting since you opened the topic?
Have you installed hotmail app from play store?

What I did recently was to :
- Disable the application "LIA Informant"
- Disable the application "LIA MrGDBLogger"
- Disable the application "LIA S4URecommender"
- Clear the cache (click on Settings > Storage > Data in cache)
The problem happened several times in a day before, but only occured a few times in weeks since I did this trick. The workaround was probably clearing the cache. But since the problem gradually came back after the last time I reinitialized the phone, I'm still afraid it comes back sooner or later.
I did clear cache a few times now - it always comes back.
Would be great if someone could find a fix for that, because it's very annoying.
The bad thing is that there is no send error report option. At least there would be a starting point with an error info etc.
Have you tried disabling the applications mentionned above?
I (almost) chose them randomly, but it really made a difference for me and the problem doesn't seem to come back.
Done that just now.
Will post back with the results in some time.
Do you maybe know what those apps do ? (I like to know what I'm turning off in case of any other problems)
GDB (in the Unix world) is a debugger. I have no reason to think that this GDB is the same though, I just guessed the problem should come from a system application and this one may be one.
Turning off those apps made no difference.
Was thinking that it may be one of the widgets on the home screen.
Later today, or maybe tomorrow I'll make a list of what I'm using and post it here - maybe this way we'll get whats causing this.
The only widgets I have now are Zooper Widget and Shuttle+.
But honestly, since the problem makes any launcher crash (and I think any application left in foreground when the screen turns off), I believe the root of the problem a system app/optimization, and likely one from LG since not many people seem to complain.
I hope 5.1.1 will come soon to the G3.
Any news on any update ? (not necessarily to 5.1.1)
Udated to 20p yesterday - clean update (just to be sure I've wiped 3 times - 1 before and 2 after the update).
Had a couple of hours of peace, and then it started again.

I updated to CM 12.1 two weeks ago and never encountered this problem since then.
This happens quite a lot to me while browsing the Web on phone. While scrolling down it looks like Chrome has locked up but eventually it starts scrolling again.
Anyone else had this issue and addressed it?

I've noticed on some sites that are meant to load the next part of a webpage before you get to it, this happens and may be what is happening here. Things like ad-blockers and data-saving features in other browsers can help, but by the nature of these sites, it is inevitable no matter what device you are using.
I wanted to chime in and say that I have noticed my chrome locks up too. Came across this article: http://drippler.com/drip/how-make-chrome-faster-android
I am trying some of the tips now. Thought I would share it.
Try to uninstall it and try taking odd the battery and reinstall it once the phone comes back on. I do that to a lot of apps that lag and seems to be working.
I had this issue as well, but it only seemed to last for a couple of days last week. I am on Beta if that matters. I cleared the cache, because thats the smart thing to do whenever anything seems wonky. It also is the smart thing to do anytime. Not sure if it helped or not, but I haven't had the issue since.
I used to get an issue with blank screens when loading pages after the cache started hitting 500mb or so. Clearing the cache fixed that, but that also hasn't happened in a long time. Maybe these things are related. I just wrote it off as the pain of using beta.
I am getting this error message essentially making the phone useless. I got notification I had an update on Friday. It auto updated, I installed it, it rebooted, and this message continuously pops up and I cant use anything. Factory reset did nothing, and the only semi work around is I was able to get Nova Launcher on there. It semi works but the message comes up every time I lock and unlock the phone.
Nobody seems to know the answer to what the hell this is or what happened but I need someone who is smarter than I to help me fix it please. Any advice is very much appreciated. Phone is unrooted.
Thanks in advance.
Go to setting, General, Apps, All Apps, and fine "Home". Clear cache and reboot.

tried that, it didn't seem to work. Is there something I'm missing? Do certain apps cause this?
Having the same issue right after updating to 6.0; clearing cache didn't work for me either. I suppose I'll try a different launcher in the meanwhile.
"Unfortunately, Home has stopped
I am now rooted using the video instructions from ROOT JUNKY, but I am getting this error message "Unfortunately, Home has stopped" I went to the Apps setting and resets app preference and also clear the home cache but to no effect. i am able to get the simple home setting but not the other advance home setting. please help if you can. Thanks inadvance
LG G4 H815
Problem solved for Lg G4. Go to Settings, General, Apps swipe left to "All" then scroll down to "HOME" not easy home. Open it and clear cache and also "clear data" you will get a warning message when you try to clear data, but that's ok. I was afraid to do this but it works for me, It will only clear and Home screen preference or shortcut you had. You can setup your preferred shortcuts after again. restart and select "Home" as your default. Let me know if this helps
Think not.. Still home crashes
Nope, that's not a fix. All it did was wreck my app placements and settings.. Nothing else. Immediately after clearing the cache and data it crashed exactly the same way.
Home has stopped is becoming increasingly annoying, and also increasing in frequency. I'm going to try Uninstalling the app update that started it all: Voice Mate 4.70.10.
I'll see if this works. If so I'll post here. If not, consider this an open thread and hopefully someone in the G4 community with some skills and knowledge will find a solution.
Anyone found a solution to this problem?

If you have an LG G4 you may have seen this message and waited for the home screen to re-start again, only to happen again and again, I’ve searched all the forums to no avail, so I installed another home screen to got rid of the problem, now have a permanent fix, you have to disable Smart Bulletins:
Go to apps, hit menu, select home screen settings, turn off Smart Bulletins.
