So im a noob at this stuff so i guess i kinda f***** myself here. I was using Virtuous Unity, then the 1.24.0 update came out. I did a full wipe and installed via clockwork recovery, I got boot loops. I try going to bootloader to get into recovery but i cant get to it because it keeps scanning for a radio i was about to flash. How can i connect my phone to my cpu to delete the radio? This has been frustrating me for hours. Any help would be greatly apreciated!
Same Problem here!
Do you still have the PC10IMG.zip on your sd card? If so, just take out the card, pop it into a computer with a card reader, delete the file, then boot into the bootloader. You should be able to get into CWM recovery by holding the camera + power buttons together though.

I had the same problem, regarding booting. Seams that my zip file vas corrupt.
Downloaded it again. copyed it to my sd card (clockwork sd mount), deleted the corrupt one (I should have known - it was way 2 small). did recower from sd bootet - and its working like a dream
So I just found another sd card and did the whole process from scratch. Guess the download from the virtuous site was corrupted :/ redownloaded it and its working great! Htc watch and reader are working now, i love it
boot loops on unity 2.39
im having the same annoying boot loops even at unity 2.39, is there a solution to this problem yet ?

i want to flash my defy with blueginger but i cant work out how to seeing as i cant access my sd card?
luckily the phone is still rooted but i cant put clockwork or anything else on as it wants to install it on my sd card, is there a way around this?
please help!!!!

Help..
I'm in the same situation as earlier described..
I've been trying to get Adlxmod F4D on to my defy, but in the process I screwed up a few things..
I'm back on track though and I've currently flashed my defy with the 3.4.3-11 .. BUT now my problem is first of all, that after I've rooted the phone using superoneclick (and also before doing this) my phone says that I've got NO SD card.. When I do the recovery reboot to wipe and restore then my touch screen doesn't work (it boots, though).. It's the same if i tryk to boot using power + vol down - here I get no response when I push in the down right corner..
This problem is not only with my 16gb sd card (which was in the phone during wipe + flash + root), but also when I try the 2gb that came with the phone.
Does anyone have a solution to my problem??
Here is my situation:
I was running Cyanogen 7 Nightly 161 (GB 2.3.5)
I downloaded and installed PyroMecha_Micro-2.3.5 which repartitioned by sd card.
I failed to double check my work and I wound up wiping my sd card.
I am not a fan of the Pyro so I thought I could reinstall Froyo 2.2 stock by adding PC10IMG to my sd card and rebooting.
Now, I am in a bootloop of sorts.
When I installed the zip from the sd card in clockwork recovery, the end message was 'operation aborted'.
I hit the camera button, volume down and power button at the same time and I get the HBOOT screen with the other usual options (fastboot and so on) but I am only able to access the HBOOT. The other options flash up for a moment and are inaccessible. In addition, the HBOOT screen prompts for an update. Vol up for yes, vol up for down.
When I attempt to reboot I am stuck with the HTC screen that will not load.
The phone is s-off as well.
My question is, how can I fix this? And yes, I have looked all over the net and this site and I have not seen a remedy.
Thank you for your help.

Hold vol down + power while the phone is off. Boot into clockwork and restore the nandroid I hope you made, or reflash the rom. You have to remove the pc10img from your sdcard to stop bootloader from detecting it

Resolved!
When I was in the bootloader loop I was unable to access clockwork.
I took the sd card out, attached it to an adapter and opened it on my pc.
Unfortunately I was unable to removed PC10img from the sd card. I bought a new one (only 4GB-lame).
I was able to load cyanogen and gapps with no problem by reflashing the rom onto the new sd card.
Thanks

Hello All,
So I was telling my co-worker how much better my HTC desire was after I rooted and loaded a custom ROM on. I setup mine with App2SD using the Noob proof Desire Guide with the AceSMod007 2.3.3 rom
He asked me if the device can still boot if you take out the Micro SD card, So i tried it an the phone would not boot and seemed to loop. I put the Micro SD card back in and upon booting up again alot of my app's are not working. And i get low storage messages.
I'm guessing booting it up without the partition there has stuffed up the mounting...? How do i resolve it, do I use CWM-AlphaRev Recovery to fix it up and remount the card? (just guessing)
thanks very much
I ended up just reloading the ROM, thanks anyway

So are you or are you not able to boot in to recovery? Kinda confused. You said that you tried but no luck but then you rebooted and did a clear storage. So were you able to boot in to recovery the second time? If you can, do a full wipe and try flashing a different rom. You can download one to your PC, boot in to recovery, enable the usb drive, push the file to your phone and flash.
Ummm sorry for the confusion .... I'm talking about I held the volume down and power button to get to the screen I believe it's "bootloader" and tried to select recovery so maybe I can do a backup to wen it previously worked but no luck cause the phone wasnt reading the sd card with the backup on it! So I went back to the "bootloader" and did a "clear storage" it worked but the phone took forever to come on.... I did that about 2 times when the phone wouldnt boot pass the htc screen but now it no lingers works doing that! And to answer you guys question no I'm not able to boot in recovery just to bootloader with the options
Fast boot
Recovery
Clear storage
Reboot
USB hboot
If you guys are still confused let me know I will explain further more the phone will not access recovery at All!
As asked... what recovery did you load? Amon_RA or CWM? Also, what HW version do you have?
O I'm very sorry.... CMW
Hw info:
Android version 2.3.4
Baseband version 2.15.00.0808
Kernel version: [email protected] #1 Sat apr 30 04:36:42 edt 2011
Build number: MIUIAndroid 7.29
And to answer your previous question I don't know how to install a new recovery thru hboot .... I hope this helps you
If you can get to your sd card via a card reader to load a new recovery, then follow the steps here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=705026. Otherwise, try this first to see if you can at least get sd access again: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=695243
Ok will try how do I get a card reader?
If you are on a laptop, most recent ones will have a slot for it and may even have the dock/reader to place it in. You can also get an external one that connects via USB at Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Radio Shack. Basically anywhere that sells SD cards. Usually around the camera section. You can also check tigerdirect.com or newegg.com if you can wait to receive it via mail. They usually have bargains that you can take advantage of. If this is your primary phone, then go to a store to get one so you can get your phone working.
Or if you can't get your hands on a card reader, you could stick your card in a different phone (old phone, friends phone, neighbors phone, phone at sprint store, whatever). Then download amonRa recovery from xda (download the PC36IMG version of it). Move it to the root of SD card (i.e. NOT in any folder) using some sort of file explorer on the borrowed phone.
Then put card back into your Evo, boot into bootloader (using power and volume down method you used earlier).
Bootloader should scan your card, find the PC36IMG, and ask if you want to do the update.
Hope this helps.

Ok thank you I'm going to do it in the morning will this still work for me even thou my phone won't read my sd card??
Your hboot/bootloader should still read your SD card fine. Unique problem, but should read fine. You remember which hboot version you have?
sent from AOKP heaven
No but I'll find out of you tell me how to
Well, not really necessary to know, unless you're trying to use some fastboot commands. But, you said you CAN still get into bootloader by holding volume and pressing power, right? Once in bootloader, it will say your hboot info in upper left corner.
In any case, follow the above info about getting recovery as a PC36IMG onto your SD somehow, and boot into bootloader. Good luck. Report back.

Hun?? I'm confused you put nrvm
Hy all,
First, excuse my english, I'm french.
This morning I was on call and suddently, it stopped and my phone freezes. I had to remove the battery.
But know, I'm unable to boot again.
Since I decided to remove the bootlogo, I don't know if it's right after the HTC screen or while booting (I knew it was a bad idea...)
Finally, after some tries, I've been able to access hboot and recovery. But recovery took 46 secs to boot and said "Unable to mount SD card" or something like that. I tried on my computer and the SD card can be accessed.
So, I would like to know if someone had the same issue or if someone can help.
Thx!
Infos :
DHD running CodefireX SR19 and latest radio. No other sign since the release of SR19 some weeks ago.
sounds like you need to reformat SD card on computer. But first copy 4ext folder to computer then format SD. After format SD place 4ext folder back on SD then remount SD to phone see if that helps. You may have to full wipe and reflash rom when you enter recover do to apps moved to SD will no longer be there but may show in rom and when you try to open they will force close.
