Anyone know where I can find this sensation 4G wallpaper?
FYI - This belongs in Q&A, not Development.
Look at Zedge.net, I've seen it there.
It is a nice wallpaper though.
Can't find it on Zedge though lol.
Here: Zedge. Selected Music wallpapers, typed in Equalizer in the Search bar. It looks like the first one, named Equalizer, just rotated. You could easily use GIMP to get it to look like how you'd want it to.
go here and ask in their forum. Someone would probably send it to you or post it for you: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1113

Where is a good place to download icons for the Android? Looking to change up my phone a little bit. Unfortunately, all the ones I'm finding are like, apple iphone style. Who the hell wants iphone style icons on there Android!
So wrong section to post this bro. This is for ROMs, Kernals and such.
This is the wrong area to post this. still here is a good site > icons.mysitemyway.com
or you can download icon packs from the market

Wrong section though as stated above.
Hi there!
Is there a flashable mod that can change the notification pulldown from trans(lucent/parent) to opaque (without sacrificing the other elements of the theme)?
I LOVE the themes that I've found here, but I find transparency/translucence to be disorienting.
Thanks!
yes and no. to my knowledge there is no app or mod to simply change the properties of the png image to opaque, but you could check out the metamorph threads on here and in other xda forums and make yourself a metamorph to do just that!
basically you would choose an image for your new background or pull one from another theme or whatever and build the metamorph according to the guide, run it and voila. good luck!
Thanks. I installed metamorph and... let's just say that I'm smart enough to know that I'm too stupid to do it right
Are there any themes that come with the opaque pulldown?
Thanks again!

Click here, it shows you how to do it yourself. It is a very detailed walkthrough and should not be too difficult even for people without and development experience.
I don't really think there would be a way to create a universal flashable zip that makes the drop down opaque/transparent since the image file that the dropdown consists of is what has to be changed. It is possible to create a zip that would replace your dropdown with a new image file, but then again you still run the risk of changing some of your current theme since you would have to replace more than just that single image file.

Yes it can be done by changing one image and if the theme is done right in the 1st place, the other images will not be affected. The problem is most themer's, including myself do the transparent image since 99.9% people want that. Wanting a custom look is what drove the person making the theme in the first place. We make what we want in a theme and share our work.. The best thing for you do is read the instruction and ask the right person for help on the area you need help. It's the only way to get what YOU want.
Edit: Change my mine, going to help you out. Which of my two themes posted do you want. I will edit the correct png and post just that apk in zip for you to download.
Metamorph will do just that. Gonna take you some research. Sterickson developed it and its under utilized on the samsung Epic so far.
Froyo window had an opaque one but its buried deep on here. 1 thing to note only the stock launcher well show opaque, the after market ones like zeam lp, etc don't display in full screen so it will still show up black unless your using a live wallpaper

that is very generous of you! i truly appreciate the offer.
however, i'm most certainly in the minority in wanting opaqueness (if that is indeed a word). and i know i'm gonna want to learn how to do it eventually, so i'm going to try to do it myself. we'll see what happens
on a related note: as i'm learning and have questions, should i post those questions here or in the general or q/a? seems a little too specific for q/a, but i know there's nothing more loathsome than a question posted in the wrong section
thanks again!

Feel free to pm any specific questions want to learn how theme in general check my signature, the threads are buried deep. Now the status bar (notification bar, pulldown, whatever your calling it) being opaque (transparent, whatever lol) just change the status bar background in twframework to a clear or semi clear image. You used to have a live wallpaper with anything but the stock launcher to get this to work but last night my Zeam updated, and now running the new Zeam, the status bar is clear with just a regular wallpaper. Don't count on LP being added to this list any time I believe it has been asked plenty of times and so far it looks like it's not happening. I could be wrong I haven't been to the LP forum in a bit.

Same goes for me as stated by dreamsforgotten. New updated Glass Froyo coming today or tomorrow. Send me a pm if that theme is ok with you.
Hi!, i'm looking for a wallpaper for my phone, but, i don't know nothing about it, only one thing, it is in a MIUI locker theme, so minimalistic, only one clock at top and one "unlock" bar at the bottom, look so close than this (attached image) but it's in color. I hope you can help me.
PS: Sorry if you can't understand something, i'm spanish
There is the image:

And this is the thread it's taken from, here on XDA. You can ask the one who posted it to give you the original:

Yes! This is!,thanks!, i'll ask there!
google reverse image search found this: http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c383/jdmdc2gsr/hCEIp-1.png from here: http://justreveal.blogspot.com/2011/08/craziness.html

I have noticed that in the TWWallpaperchooser.apk that there are quite a few more wallpapers in there than the default 4 that we see in Wallpaper Gallery.
I was wondering if there was to enable the rest of them, and on a related question, is there a way to add your own into that apk too?
any response??
hey have you figured this one out yet.. i have been waiting anxiously for this answer.
Attached are zipped .pngs of the wallpapers. Credit goes to some XDA member - I can't find the original post. Extract and set them as you would any regular image file (gallery > set as)
Bonus cat wallpaper is from LPH leak. I don't think it's in the GB roms.
thanks for the response lonathe and the hookup. I think we're looking for the "How To" on tweaking the TwWallpaperchooser.apk to show ALL of the embedded wallpapers via Android's "Wallpaper Gallery" rather than just the ones they WANT you to see. For me I have both a SGS2 Skyrocket and T-Mo SGS2 (white) and they have different wallpapers embedded inside the apk. I am looking to extract ALL the Skyrocket's wallpapers from the TwWallpaperchooser.apk into the T-Mo SGS2's apk and then have them ALL visible via the "Wallpaper Gallery". Can anyone explain to me how to accomplish this?

Yeah, it's a achievable. I have done it in my new ROM. If you want, I can help you to open all up.
Just send me your system/app/TwWallpaperChooser.apk.
I can just link everything up for you.
Edit: I have tried open up GB rom and ICS rom TwWallpaperChooser.apk, they both have the same wallpapers plus hidden one. Btw, the cat is included too. They got more than 10 cool hidden wallpapers.
If you want my help, just pm me. I will be quite busy modifying my new ROM. I might miss your post here.

I love the weather widget on the stock TouchWiz UI, but I can't seem to use it on other launchers (apex, nova) and I was wondering if theres a way to maybe pull it from files and use it or something like that. Or even if theres a very similar app. Thanks
Search the forum and you'll find about ten other threads asking for the same thing.
Download UCCW -Ultimate Custom Clock Widget, and then go to the thread in Android Themes in XDA. There's an exact match there.

Do you have a link for where the exact match is? Or an idea more or less when it was posted? It's a huge thread to go through
