Hi everybody
first of all I´ve to say english isn´t my native language, so I´m sorry for my bad english
Yeah today I tried to install the Virtuous Unity ROM on my Desire Z.
I did a full wipe, so actually I think I did.
I did all this with clockworkMod Recovery
1.wipe data/factory reset
2.wipe cache partition
3.advanced > wipe dalvik cache and wipe battery stats
after that I go to mounts and storage > mount / data and mount / system
So and then I go to install zip from sdcard and choose the Virtuous Unity Zip data
And after a reboot my phone freezes by turning on my desire..
So I hope someone can help me
Hello, (sorry for my bad english too, i speak french usualy)
I install it today and it's ok
(if the phone don't reboot, pull off the batery a few second and when you restart, push and stay push the low volume button and once the power button...)
Maybe make a new time but don't mount and storage...
Just the different wipe ... reboot ... and install zip from sdcard and choose the good one... (and after the patch...)
Good luck to you...
I tried it two different times, and the first one without doing mount data and system.
I'm not a specialist but a new user then I have no other solution...
I hope someone can help you ...
Good luck
Did you flash recovery using ADB? If so, do that and try again
Or perhaps you are using a budget SD card, not all cards work for some reason.
@Noboo I don´t know what you mean ^^
Kernel Version 2.6.32.21-gd2764ed
Doftware Number 1.34.405.5
Did you root your device following the wiki found here?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/index.php?title=HTC_Vision
If so, you have ADB on your computer already. If not, just disregard this advice because chances are you'll make some mistakes.
Step by step it would be:
Go to
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/index.php?title=HTC_Vision
Download clockworkmod recovery and the flash_image and put it in the adb folder.
Open a dos prompt (run -> cmd)
Go to the adb folder
adb push flash_image /data/local/tmp/
adb shell chmod 755 /data/local/tmp/*
adb push recovery-clockwork-3.0.2.4-vision.img /data/local/tmp/recovery.img
adb shell
su
(Make sure you have priviliges; #)
# cd /data/local/tmp
# ./flash_image recovery recovery.img
Wait a few seconds
# sync
Power down, battery out, go to recovery.
Wipe cache etc, flash the rom, and hope that a bad recovery was your problem
GL
try that superwipe aswell just a thought
@noboo
after the point ' su ' I can not follow sry . In cmd appears $
Good that you stopped, you need # after typing su.
Please check that all the files you downloaded are in the ADB folder on your computer, and that you type the commands correctly.
Don't change file names and do not unpack the files

Still doesn´t work
at first I unpacked the flash image rar but know cmd shows ' cannot start flash image: no such file or directory
Same Problem here. I tried everything numerous times. fact.reset etc.. . I really need help! Should i maybe get a replacement? Cause even now my home and search button don't work.
I posted on 1 thread that after u reboot your phone it will work but only for a short time.
Look at the first post of Flemmard on Virtuous Unity thread, some DZ freezes because they don't support 1.2 Ghz freq. Flemmard made a patch to flash with CWM to set max frequency to 998 because it is set to 1200 by default:
I can't put the link because it is my first post but look at first post on unity thread, the link is just after:
For people experiencing random phone Freezes, this is due to overclocking, it's solved by lowering max speed.
Just flash this patch over:

It does support 1.2ghz, I think I found the problem, when you overclock it to 1.1ghz is when it freezes, because I had mines set at 1.5ghz (performance governer) and I had no freezes what so ever, but when I set it to 1.1 ghz it froze within 2 minutes after booting the phone. I also have no problems with any other frequencies but 1.1ghz, so if there is a way to remove the option for the 1.1ghz option, we wouldn't have this problem. Anyone else want to test my theory on their Visions?
No one?

boot loops for unity 2.39
i flashed with unity 2.39 on my desire z , after one day of usage there were annoying boot loops, the fone was unuseable, i had to revert back to my stock backup rom through clockwork recovery. But even after i flashed back to my old rom, there is still boot loops, i get reboots instantly after the sense ui loads.
Please can anybody advice me on how to fix this ?

What is it and why am I getting this prompt? I'm rooted with 2.3.4
Obviously I shouldn't accept this update but does anyone know what this is?
Sent from my Xoom using xda premium
Hi. I am new.
I just installed the ROM 2.3.4 last night that was posted in the xda forum(upgraded manually from 2.2 on a Unrevoked rooted Dinc).
I installed the 4.06 ROM and I am reading the official was 4.08...
Do I need another upgrade? Or is this 'the' upgrade that is for root users?
Not trying to steal your post ugxvibe. both of our questions might have similar answers.
if you update will you lose root control? What about all the apps? I'm most concerned about not being able to tether...
Just flash wildstangs 4.08.605.2 ota rom. It is the newest ota update, but already rooted.
how do I do that? Through rom manager?
Is there a way to stop the update reminder from popping up without actually installing it? I'm afraid I might mess up my phone and don't want to risk losing everything g on it.
Guys, to stop the prompt from appearing just press install and it will try to reboot but will just error and u will never see it again trust me .

Yes thru rom manager.
You can dissable the notifications by editing your /system/build.prop file. Look for:
ro.config.htc.nocheckin = 0
and change the 0 to a 1. If you dont see that line add it somewhere in the file.
I went to make the nocheckin = 1 modification, but I already had it, and I'm still getting the update notifications. Not even sure how it got there. All I've done is root with Unrevoked, maybe that does the edit?

It should have worked, you may need to clear the cache partition. Or there is another method go to /etc/security and rename otacerts.zip to otacerts.zip.bak
Like what was said above...
If you have Clockwork or some other custom recovery, if you just allow it to update when prompted, it will not install and will cause no other problems. You must have the stock recovery in order for the update to install.
It CANNOT install if you don't have the stock recovery.
But, I would also go into the /cache directory and find the update file and zap it (It will be obvious). I just use ADB and "rm" it from my PC. You could use root explorer or something. Otherwise you will have a big update file just sitting there and hogging space.

im rooted n using the clockworld mod for roms, I attempted to run the 4.08 update from User wildstang following the instructions but after installing the update n rebooting it just sits at "Dorid incredible" white screen and never boots. I may be doing something wrong here, can someone break it down for me? suggestions?
NOTE: I use CWMR 5X. Some wipe options below are not included in earlier recovery versions. Still wipe what is available the best you can.
1. Put the Rom on the root of your SD Card
2. Compare MD5 Sum
Windows: MD5 Calculator
LINUX: Open Terminal and type: md5sum [path to the rom on your sd card]
Mac: Open a terminal and type: md5 [path to the rom on your sd card]
3. Reboot to Recovery
4. Wipe these:
Main Screen:
wipe data/factory reset - x2
wipe cache partition - x2
Advanced:
Wipe Dalvik Cache - x3
Wipe Battery Stats - optional
Mounts and Storage:
Format-
/boot - x2
/system - x2
/datadata - x2
/data - x2
/cache - x2
5. Install Rom from SD Card by going back and selecting install from SD card.
6. Reboot and enjoy!
followed each step to the letter but still wont boot : /
Ok i changed nothing in the method of installing the rom and for whatever reason it worked!! 4.08 now phone is 10X faster and im loving it. Only issue i see now is i cannot get back into clockworld mod! why is that? i hold down power and vol down for a long time and when release it just starts the boot sequence any suggestions?

OK I've found the file you're talking about and it doesn't have that line in it so I need to add it. I can't easily get access to a computer right now to run the command line on my phone so i have been trying to use the terminal emulator instead. It says I doesn't have a text editor...is there a way to edit via the emulator? Do you wkno which commands to use?
Thanks again
Yep, still having a minor issue with this. I have added the line suggested and I have cleared my cache yet I still get periodic prompts to install the update. I'm not really keen on doing so. Can anyone else suggest a way to stop the (weekly) prompts?
Thanks

I've looked into it. While there are a few options to install roms from the pc, some of the commands are known to hang on completion, which means you can't really script them safely (you could add in some kill and restart commands, but you'd have to put like 2-5 min buffers on them to make sure it was done).
I've found that the quickest way to install roms is to use TWRP in the Defy Forums. It allows you to select multiple zips at a time to flash at once. I haven't used clockwork touch recovery yet.
I'll look into it a little more, cause typing something like "./rom_install.sh /path/to/rom.zip -gbgapps" to install a rom and gb gapps would be easy. If I can find a way to execute edify scripts (the ones used to install roms) from adb then this can be done. I can only make and test linux scripts since I no longer have windows, but Josuearisty can port it to windows shell script. I formatted my old windows drive to use my android compile drive .

Im not using TWRP either Touch Clockworkmod, both of them are not working as they should sometimes.
I supose that a fully working Touch Clockworkmod would restore an old backup made with our actual Clockworkmod recovery, but does not.
In the case of TWRP, works fine for some time but later it seems to get tired and when you make a backup, it says its complete inmediatly but it is still creating backup files.
It would be great to install roms with just hitting Enter coming from froyo. Do you think that just making some changes to the script, is it possible to install a rom the pc?

I'm sure its possible somehow, I've just never looked too deep into doing it. What ways I have found either used commands that would hang and require you to quit after 2 mins of activity and start the 2nd command which hangs the same thing -- not safe enough to script. The other ways were for broke\no sdcard and involved copying the rom to /data and then installing as normal.
What I think needs to be done is set up a script that copies the rom & gapps to the sdcard and executes their edify scripts. We need to figure out what command recovery uses to execute the script\install roms then incorporate it into an install script. You'd still have to reboot to bootmenu and enable adb, but that's all (unless we find a way to reboot and have adb already enabled (not good for all the time use, security concerns - it'd be possible to get around the bootmenu pin if adb was enabled on power up).

Well, look at the rom manager, watch how it does it. I think that looking into adb commands we can make a script works like rom manager.
When you select the rom, rom manager lets you wipe data & cache and also install gapps. The rom manager goes to recovery and inmediatly do all steps it self, you can also backup your actual rom.
Try it, download it from market and try it, I see your roms there too.
Some windows commands are:
Adb reboot recovery = reboot into recovery mode
Adb push FILE = copy files to whatever place into out phones. Example to copy a rom.zip to sdcard
Adb push rom.zip /sdcard/rom.zip
Those are windows commands, dont know if they could work on linux. If my pc wasnt broke I would be making some tests!

Use cm7. Very fast and stable with no random hiccups, rare force-closes. The SBF is the Motorola Bravo "factory ROM". To install it, you can use RSDlite or do it in linux, both of those tuts are found in the bravo general section. You probably won't have to use the SBF unless you brick your phone, which is a possibility, but flashing the sbf will unbrick it 99% of the time.
Current ROM: CM7.2 Euroskank Cherry Picks | Bravo port
I think I have a problem. The sim I put in to this phone is asking to log in with moto blur and nothing I try is working. So I can't switch the debug mode on. I even tried the bypass suggested by someone but fastboot is not preinstalled on this phone. All I get is the bootloader or stock recovery.
I also tied resetting the password but after I go thru it it just says there is no phone on this moto blur account.
Any help would be appreciated.
Edit:
I got it. I factory reset the phone and then was able to use the bypass motoblur ****.

Post a little more info.
What did you do?
Can you access custom, stock, or bootloader recovery?
Does it still charge?
And did you factory reset from Custom recovery or Stock recovery? Custom only wipes all data where Stock actually formats the partitions.
The easy way and a common issue we're having now.
Unless this is one of those CM10 ext4 issues, just flash the sbf and you should be good to go.
If you downgraded from CM10 and you were using ext4 /data and /cache, reinstall CM10, format back to ext3, then flash whatever you want.

The CM10 ext4 issue is when you flash a CM10 custom kernel rom and select format /data & /cache to ext4 in the bootmenu. Only custom kernels can use the ext4 file system, so what happens is you format them as ext4, install CM9, and it doesn't load because it can't mount /data and /cache to write them because they're on an unsupported file system. The only things you can do are reinstalling CM10 and formatting back to ext4 of flash the sbf in extreme cases. Its not dangerous at all, just very annoying if you forget to format back to ext3 .
Hey guys,
I was using Sandvolds ICS for some weeks, but since yesterday my phone won't work anymore. I was starting a bike tour, but GPS on Endomondo didn't really work. So I restarted my phone. When I boot it'll show the white screen with green HTC logo, then it'll show the Evervolv animation and this animation will be displayed until I remove the battery, one time I had it running for half an hour.
I tried to boot the phone without sd card and could boot, but after "optimising" apps it kept on crashing because, as it appears, the system data is partly on the sd card.
Now I don't know what to do, what would you recommend? I'd probably just wipe everything and reinstall a backup, but - I don't have a backup

I got the same situation with you dude!!
I'm now using beta 0.17.1, but after this afternoon everything was wrong.
Then I did a full wipe and installed the latest version of Sandvolds ICS,
It's good and normal before I activate a2sd, but after that
everything went wrong again.
And finally I tried HTC DESIRE-AOKP-milestone6 v2,
It is working normally with INT2EXT, but not very smooth and stable.

maybe you can temporarily try DESIRE-AOKP-milestone6 v2
it's also a good choice! and a good rom also.
Hey,
I have the same problem! I also have Sandvolds ICS rom and it gets stuck on the Evervolv loading screen.
It loads up flawlessly without my SD card but then all my stuff is gone.
Any way to backup my data? (EDIT: Nevermind that question, I used backup from recovery)
BTW, SD card works, I can mount it from recovery mode.
Guys, what you say doesn't make me happy!
Maybe it's worth mentioning that I was NOT using the latest version of ICS, but I had no problems for weeks. I'm already waiting for the new Nexus phones, one of them will save me a lot of time and trouble updating to the newest OS and software
Good luck everyone, and please tell us if you manage making your phone working again
tried updating to latest ics via 4ext - fail! i could watch the evervolv animation for hours

Looking in the Sandvold's thread a lot of people have been claiming that the bootloops is caused by the most recent version of Google Play 3.9.16. Apparently just deleting that will let you boot fine.

The solution is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1944766
For me didn't work, but I want to try again and apply the solution directly on the first boot.

Looking in the Sandvold's thread a lot of people have been claiming that the bootloops is caused by the most recent version of Google Play 3.9.16. Apparently just deleting that will let you boot fine.

Thanks for your hint, but after a few steps, I was stuck. After downloading the SDK (not mentioned in the tutorial) I experienced problems in the following steps, here is where I had problems
- cd Program Files(x86)/Android/android-sdk/platform-tools/ - I had to enter cd AppData\Local\Android/android-sdk/platform-tools/
- adb shell - command didn't work - I entered adb resulting in lots of text on my screen
- cd /data/data/ - the shell didn't accept this

Probably because there is no folder /data/data? Have you followed the instructions in this thread? That should work.

Seems like an adb fault.
If you type: adb get-state and adb get-serialno you have in output the infos of your Desire?

adb shell will return device not found, adb get-serialno and adb-get-state return unknown
Using 4ext, I mounted system and sd-card
I also tried dietwice's tip (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33073702&postcount=8), but at step 3, cd /system/app , it says path not found. I'm no guru, so I don't really know what to do now.
Sorry about the fonts, it's a mess^^

You need to mount "system" and "USB storage". You have to be connected to your computer.

Exactly, you have to mount more or less everything, depends on what kind of a2sd you have.
In my case, I had to mount everything because of "standard app2sd"; my "vending" are in /system, /data and /sdext.
Just to be sure, you have to undestand if the phone is connected to the computer. To check this try to write:
...../platform-tools/adb kill-server (press enter)
...../platform-tools/adb start-server (press enter)
NOW plugin your HTC Desire (in Recovery mode) to the computer and digit:
...../platform-tools/adb devices
Should appear at least your Deside (on the right side of the phone code will appear the word"recovery")
If this appear, you can prooced with "adb shell" or all other commands required for the procedure.
I had the same bootloop problem, it was easy to remove all the Play Store files.
Hope helping you.

I think that Tourist06 can't resolve with mounting /system or something else, because he has a problem with adb (adb don't talks with his device).
Have you followed this guide for installing adb?
@freakymonkey: I followed the guide, seemed to work! If I enter the shell I no more need to enter the whole path, entering "adb" will produce text. Please have a look at the following screenshot, hope you can confirm this.
@matteo.rex, no success, here's a screenshot
A pop-up appeared saying there were unidentified devices.
Thanks for your help, guys! My phone isn't working for the sixth day now

Uhm, this is the problem maybe.
First question: is the phone charging when you plugin it to the pc? (I had a problem with the cable...solved changing it)
Second: could be not an ADB installation problem, but a Driver Installation problem. Check this thread to download it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=654047
If typing "ADB" a list of command appear, this mean that it work.
Windows, after the driver installation, have to recognize you Desire also during Recovery, not only during common use.
I hope it could help you!
Let us know!
p.s. I use ADB over Ubuntu, but the work is the same.
Hey Guys,
Being a new person on this forum, I was not able to post on the original thread, so posting here.
I have been on IceColdJelly421 - 1.6 - JellyBean 4.2.1_r1 for last 2 weeks and have found it to be an excellent ROM. However I noticed something very weird today.
My HTC ONE X's (international tegra) SDCARD is gone! when I connect to mac, I can only see my 2.11 GB internal phone storage, same from Settings -> Storage. I tried formatting the SDCARD (~27 GB) from TWN and mac (as FAT) but still it doesnt show up anywhere.
I also tried formatting the SDCARD from settings -> storage page, but that just keeps loading, nothing happens.
Any idea whats wrong here? I tried searching on the forum, but either didnt do a good job on it / didnt get anything
Please help / provide some input.
Update:
1) When I mount USB storage from TWN, i get a message on MAC that disk is not initialized. I format it as FAT from disk utility it works fine but then on reboot, I dont see in Android
2) Again from TWN when I try to format the SDCARD by using Wipe -> External Storage. The log says couldnt load SDCARD or something.
3) when "adb shell", I see my phone internal storage under /sdcard folder. Also I dont see any "0" folder inside my sdcard folder. As I understood from the IceColdJelly421 thread, 4.2.1 onwards, the SDCARD is mounted under 0 folder. But I dont see any.

Bump ! Any one ?
Have you flashed boot.img between different ROM versions? Because the boot.img in a particular version was bad and it was reverted in the following versions. Can't remember which though.
Try flashing boot from 1.6 for example, or 1.3.1.
I have the following files which I used.
$ md5 boot.img
MD5 (boot.img) = 77b5e63109c54aacca5e783d50cfece4
$ md5 aokp_ICJ421-V1.6.zip
MD5 (aokp_ICJ421-V1.6.zip) = a342a97d8cdbbe3f8f465aa9de809fd5
blackice.omca.co.uk/download/icecoldsandwich/IceColdJelly421 is not opening for me currently, will download again and check.

Just re install the original recovery and do a factory reset in the bootloader page will erase every thing , then the sd will back again , then flash any recovery you wont.

I tried that, but didnt work, the factory reset in TWR failed saying cannot mount /sdcard
When I flashed a different boot.img, TWR was able to mount and format the sdcard. Now I did a re-install of a different ROM (ARHD 18.1) and everything is working fine. Will try with ICJ again shortly. Seems like a lot of folks are reporting issues with 1.7.1.

Just installed ICJ 1.7.2 by flashing the ROM from SDCARD, worked like a charm this time, both SDCARD and internal phone memory coming. Facing the following issues with the ROM currently.
1) The battery is draining faster, will let it settle for 1-2 days and then re-check. Will also adjust the brightness level, that helped a lot with 1.6
2) The rotation of home screen is still not working, I dont use that anyways , so no problemo !
3) Noted some disturbance / noise when doing a call in speaker mode. In earphone mode, it was crystal clear.
Thanks "Lord" and all the other team members for this !!

Also trouble...
Hi, I'm also having some trouble trying to get to the 2.0.. - looking forward to it, Lord
(btw I have searched, but it's too much info to comprehend)
**1**
AFAIK I need to update my hboot (currently 0.95) and I installed the original backup (clean One X from HTC) and was trying the OTA update, but I get an error where recovery can't find the path ( "[E:...]")
Does it need original recovery?
**2**
Also when I'm trying to use the mv * ../ commands I get this:
mv can't rename '.': Device or resource busy
I'm not that experienced with the cmd/terminal stuff, so I can't really debug on my own yet :/
What does this error mean and how to fix it?
Thanks!

#1 Yes, I have also faced this problem, the best is to restore HTC's stock ROM and recovery (this is important, as custom recoveries dont work) and then update. You can find the orignal recovery in the threads. People have posted them
#2 Did you follow the exact steps of booting into fastboot, adb shell and execute the commands from there? You might want to try a different boot.img for this. I used ARHD boot.img to do the changes and then got back to ICJ. I had to change my boot.img, because the ICJ was not showing my SDCARD at all.
Let me know if this helped.

BTW on 2.1 ICJ now and loving it. I am facing some wifi, GPS issues. But that might be just because of my router (for wifi, as I had trouble connecting to my wifi even from mac, restart of router did the trick), for GPS / Signal, I noted low signal from carrier, so will wait for few more days.
Also noted that my soft keys are often skipping. The home button needs to be clicked twice at times. But in general and overall a very good ROM.
Thanks L0rd !!!
-Rock
Facing the following issues with 2.1:
1) The GPS fixing is taking a lot of time. I remember at office, I usually get a fix very quickly, but taking time now.
2) Post playing games (subway surfer), the device gets heated a lot specially around the camera area. This is draining the battery a bit.
3) Still loosing battery a bit faster than it did earlier.
4) The home button / associated vibrations dont register at times and I need to try them again. Also noted in subway surfer that game play is a bit jerky and some of my swipes are not registered. This might be due to any off: ROM, Kernel, Game, a poor screen guard.
Trying to get some data (logs etc) to substantiate the above observations. Might shift to ARHD for sometime to compare the data and provide better inputs.

Installed ARHD, details captured here:

Yeah, I troubled the guys in their main thread after the HTC RUU exe surpriced me by erasing my SDcard, and mattoffshore gave me this link to a simple flashing tool: http://www.mediafire.com/?oik6tjvo28r9d
it worked out nicely, hboot 1.39 on .401. HTC__Y13 (tags for other unfortunate searchers)
ICJ 2.1 :good: until the next release any day now haven't had any big issues except a few camera FC and random hot reboots

Make sure press thanks if it works
Guys please don't repost it as your own work, otherwise I'll report it and you will get banned from XDA.
NOTE: If you have previously used the old EXE to install TWRP then please remove the old folders by using these instructions using cmd before using updated exe to install TWRP;
1.
Code:
adb shell
2.
Code:
su
3.
Code:
mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock11 /system
4.
Code:
rm -R /system/bootmenu
Then use the updated exe to install TWRP.
NOTE: If you don't like TWRP, you can download Guitwo2's Permanent CWM at http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1875373&d=1365682716
Temporary CWM Recovery: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1875299&d=1365680458
2nd-init does NOT work in CWM Recovery
Thanks to @Guitwo2 for CWM Recovery.
Instructions on how to install Permanent CWM Recovery:
1. Make sure stericson-busybox is installed
2. Put XT320_bootmenuV2.zip in the root of your sdcard
3. Reboot into fastboot mode by typing this command in cmd:
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
4. Then type this command in cmd:
Code:
fastboot boot recovery.img
5. Then use volume keys to navigate and power button to select option. Select install zip from sdcard, then select XT320_bootmenuV2.zip and select yes to install the zip file
6. Then reboot device by selecting reboot device now.
CWM 6 has a bug where it asks you to 'disable recovery flash' when you select reboot system now make sure you select NO or you will soft brick your device.
Changelog:
-v2 No need to mount /sdcard in CWM Recovery. Fixed TWRP installation issues.
-v2.0.1 Released an .exe version of script, to simplify installation
-v2.0.1.1 Fixed bootmenu.zip
This can install a custom recovery?

The root process worked for me. Now i can install link2sd and set up a swap partition.
I cant install TWRP and i think the reason is that the bat was having some problem to send that bootmenu.tar file to my sd card. I tried to send that file myself before starting the entire process and it didnt worked.
I took a picture of the error i'm getting . Thank you again, i was really mad about that low internal space xD

Ok, I've made a fixed script here. The error was that the sdcard is a directory so it will refuse to push files into it.
Here's the updated script below. Just put the .bat file in the same place as the other files.
Thanks

Btw, my gsm network wasnt working after the root process. If the same thing happens to someone else, just do a master reset and it will work again.

I tried to do myself the commands using the adb interface and when i use the command to intall the tar, i got the message 'tar: no space left on device" . I hope you can help me with that and i'm sorry about all this questions xD .

Yes but it sometimes gets unstable so you should overclock to 700MHz which is the highest I got without reboots. pll2_l_val=73 gives you 700MHz.
