[Q] 2 Questions about Firmware

hi all
I have to questions about the firmware
first is : Is there any possibility to add a language to a Firmware ? (at least for reading)
second is : as you know the new bada firmwares does not allow to run spoofed apps now the questions, Is there any possibility to run spoofed applications in new bada firmware or can we make a spoofable firmware from non spoofable one?
With Specially Thanks to all

If you ever had used the forum search, you would have found both answers to your questions.
... and your second question sucks, anyway.

if you know any answer post it
if dont know so dont talk , anyway
Well for your first question I dont know the answer but for your second i know.
There may be a way u can make it spoofable by hackin some files but the better way is to download firmware that was released before November or any firmware that is pre hacked by some hackers to run spoof applications. well i personally dont suggest you to spoof games or any other application because i also dont do the same. The developers need some support.

thanks i think both answers is negative but nothing is impossible
in our region there is just one firmware of bada 1.2 and its release after november so if we want to use bada 1.2 there is no way to use spoofed apps ( there is no older version of bada 1.2)
for yor advice tnx i know they need support but samsung apps dont let us to buy apps because the seller part dont start in our region so we have no way except spoof
Actually I never knew that you cant buy apps. so listen xxJID, xxJJA, xxJK1 firmwares were launched before November and are also bada 1.2

Multi-tasking on Bada native apps??..[more]

Hi Everyone,
XXIKA1. Does this firmware support Multitasking on Bada??
I've seen some videos on Youtube that show Multitasking with this firmware..
HERE'S THE VIDEO
Also does this allow for spoofing..(I've spoofed Asphalt free with which was not available anymore..) I have XXJK1 currently. And does this work in conjunction with Android. Than-Q.
XXJK1 and Android. Yes, you can use it, because I'm using that firmware too.

I think you misunderstood me. I am already on XXJK1. I want to know If I can use XXIKA1 with android and will it allow for spoofing? and does it actually have Multi-taking for Bada Native apps. thanks.
Sorry. I saw "I" as "J". Look main tutorial thread's first post. If your firmware isn't there, post there your question. Maybe someone make a bootloader for your firmware.
Thanks for the suggestions but I havce other queries too..
The bootloader and firmware (considered as the rest of the files with apps_compressed.bin as the most important) are completely different things that should not be confused.
The FOTA is prepared for certain bootloaders while they may run with different apps_compressed.bin as long as there is right header in the apps. Additionally, you may try modifying apps when it doesn't have the right header.

Thanks for the reply! But I am a little confused...as to what to do.
I just installed the 'bl_univ_boot_poc2.fota' before installing Android with XXJK1.
how to modify apps? Also do you knw whether this firmware (XIKA1) has bada multi-tasking? Or shall I just stick with XXJK1 (too good except multitasking.)
And apps-compreesed.bin is the preloaded apps right?
let me answer you questions
1.all bada firmwares from bada 1.0 support multitasking but for native apps only so XIKA1 is not that special
2.XIKA1 doesn't support sp**fing
3. booting Android needs three things
prepared fota (mijoma made it already) , apps_compressed.bin that support fota (if it doesn't support it there is a small exe mijoma made also to patch the file) , proper bootloader that is compatible with the fota (you can see all proper ones at mijoma's thread)
Important N.B : we don't flash modded bootloaders it bricks the phone

You can flash custom Roms that solve this problem. There is also some settings you can play with in the GPS menu.
With advanced GPS it works much better
On many bada 2.0 firmwares the GPS is broken and just doesn't work, the reason it seems to work when you turn AGPS on sometimes is because it simply uses network location instead(with some exceptions), but I've been unable to even get it that far most of the time, you'll probably have to try the custom firmwares as has been suggested, because stock firmwares tend to keep removing settings modifications when rebooting.
Other option is bada 1.2

Though Navigation is very slow in the WAVE (bada 1.2 and bada 2.0), it works. You need only patience at the first instance.
The custom firmwares make no difference and so not recommended as a solution, except you are willing to use Network services (which cost money) to navigate.
SOLUTION: The best solution is to verify that you are using the correct firmware for your region (for correct network settings).
Most importantly, cross-check your setting to make sure that Navigation appears under Application Profiles (without which you may never get a GPS fix).
Check like this: Menu => Setting => Network => Application Profiles => Navigation (+ your network name).
If Navigation is missing from the setting, or exists without any network name, please verfiy your Network setting. And obviously you will be able to navigate.
Best of luck.

You can try Elite Rom v2.0.
Urdu is supported in this version.
I have flashed my set with Elite ROM (released 16-04-2012) but GPS is still not working without gprs.
Any other trick to catch sattelite signals. Can anyone explain settings with *#7092463*#
flash mean not by kies?

Adding Keboard for Bada 1.2

Can we add keyboard language on bada 1.2?
I know how to do that with bada 2, but not with 1.2.
?????
I don't have much experience with Bada 1.2, but check the RSRC1 file (and the language setting file in CSC, of course). You'll find everything you need in there. For RTL languages though, I don't know.

Wave Remaker opens and writes those (Bada 1.2 RC1 and CSC), too, but I'm not sure wether these (edited RC1 and CSC) are ok to flash. I have never tried (flashing) myself, and I suggest you ask forum member xsycox for more info on that. He's the one with the most experience in doing Bada 1.2 CFWs. I also had a look over his CFW files in the past, and it doesn't look like his RC1 is edited, but the CSC seems to be.
EDIT:
If you want a starting point, here it is:
I have done some Bada 1.2 modifications myself in the past, but never tested it due to an unfortunate experiment (that shouldn't have gone wrong at all) in the recent past and most probably never will. I'm scared of Bada 1.2 now. See here, read and understand the whole post. DON'T JUST FLASH THIS HOPING IT WILL BE OK. Download link is here. There are some modifications for more input languages in the CSC files in there and the RC1 contains tons of files for tons of languages (also in the standard RC1, btw). This is how I think (=not know) how it is done. I have no experience in editing Bada 1.2, of course.
Compare using WinMerge with xsycox' Bada 1.2 based CFW and you'll get an idea.
In any case let us know what you found out!
