[Q] Can't update Google Map on My GS to 4.7

Hello,
I have juste installed Froyo through Kies on my GS the problem is that I found that the Google Map that I'm using is the 4.5 version and recently Google just updated it to 4.7.
Why I can't find the Update in the Google Market ?
Is There Anyway that I can't put the 4.7 on my Samsung Galaxy S ?

To who like to install Brut maps on this rom, below is an update zip for it. Just update using CM recovery. Use the MapsBrutUpdate.zip to istall brut version and the others to restore back to original 4.7.
Tested on SEARCH ROM. Not sure for others stock rom.

thanks bro..very useful...just flashed the brut map update. Nice touch including the original maps too......spot on....
EDIT: I checked the About page it says maps 4.7...am I doing something wrong?

can not get the google maps or gmail apps in the market using oxygen rom

I am using
Oxygen v1.0.4 (FroYo STABLE).
And it does not include the google maps app,so I want to download it from the market,however I can not find it either I search google maps or maps or google..
What's wrong?

google maps navigation

while using aosp rom (cm7) with google maps installed i cant use navigation because it says its not available in my country (croatia).
however, while i use google maps with gingerbread sense (insert coin) its fully working.
anyone knows why that happens, and how to enable it in aosp rom?

I'm using oxygen with oxygen hboot.
Just removed some ogg files and tts voice files to gain some free space.
Then go to Android apps section and find maps by ownhere.
Push it to system app dir.
That's it.
Take note that there are two versions, one for system app and one for regular install. System one is better.

Fire phone and Google Play Store

I use to have it on my phone, but then the OS got upgraded to 4.6.6.1 and it stopped working.
All the articles and videos I have seen are either prior to the upgrade or the links with the 4 files no longer work.
Can anyone provide the instructions and links to the 4 files to download in order to get Google play working.

Copied from another thread. I installed it yesterday. Erverything works perfect. If you are searching for videoworking facebook or instagram. Install Facebook Version 119.0.0.23.70 and Instagram Version 7.8.0

In instagram 7.8 videos works? Because with latest versions of instagram, videos don't load, just buffering. But in ggow rom works well, just in fireos i had this error. Instagram 7.8 is with the old blue theme?

Jup. 7.8.0 works in fireOs. Old blue theme. In old apks videos are working. I think amazon ruined it with kitkat update. In ggow's rom every apk version is working.
