I guess what I'm asking is which roms include these APN settings, so widely discussed in a number of other threads.

you can always add those settings easily if they are not present in the ROM you flashed. It takes all of five minutes or less to add those.

Hello,
my DHD is driving me crazy with MMS messages.
This is the first phone ever that I cant set it right for receive or send MMS.
First off all let me assure you that i have 100% right network parameters and fully working sim card with every thing activated. Before i switched to DHD i have been using HTC HD2 with android on it and WinMo OS. There was no MMS issues, i even try allmost every Android build....no problem at all!!!!!
Ok, my operators data settings are:
MMS

I dont know what is wrong here. Aha, momentarly i am on STOCK Build version 1.72.405.3 CL296490release-keys and stock radio. The same was before i upgrade it on 1.32....
The last thing that makes me go real mad...my friend also has DHD. His is rooted and running on LeeDroid_HD_V1.4.1. We have the same setting and if i insert my sim on his DHD, MMS works as it should
Is there any genius who can help me with this problem. One last thing, i can not root phone and flash any other build...phone is for testing purposes and must be original
Tnx,
NOTE: I posted this in the General Section as well, but I realized that may have been the incorrect place to post my question, hence I am posting it here. Mods, feel free to delete that post in the General Section.
First off, I have a Desire Z (Bell Version) that I have rooted with stable version of CM 7.03.
I have been problems sending MMSes for a while now. I've looked up the various settings listed all over the Internet, but nothing has worked. I've tinkered and I rebooted the phone everytime I changed the APN settings.
Here's what's on my phone currently (this is after doing much tinkering from the various settings I've found on the Internet):
Name: AT&T
APN: wap.cingular
Proxy: Not Set
Port: 80
Username: [email protected]
Password: CINGULAR1
Server: Not Set
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS Proxy: 69.209.11.32
MMS Port: 8080
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
Authentication Type: PAP or CHAP
APN Type: default,supl,mms
Now after deleting this APN and resetting to default, this is what I have:
Name: ATT
APN: wap.cingular
Proxy: Not Set
Port: Not Set
Username: [email protected]
Password: Not Set
Server: Not Set
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS Proxy: wireless.cingular.com
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
Authentication Type: Not Set
APN Type: default,supl,mms
After going to the default settings, I still can't send MMSes and it's driving me nuts.
Also, I noticed there's version 7.1 out. However, as far as I know, MMS supposedly works fine on the version I have and I do remember being able to send MMS in the past occasionally, so I don't know what's going on...
Anybody have any ideas?
Flash the latest nightly after a wipe. You could also try a third party texting app.

Any help is appreciated!

I use a modified version of the WAP APN. I deleted the user name and password because they seemed to slow things down. I added the APN Types from the PTA on just for kicks. I think it helps a little but not a lot, the difference in performance could be explained by normal fluctuations in bandwidth but it didn't hurt.
