When I choose phone options to "Power off" the phone there always appear I text message "your phone will shut down" OK/cancel. can someone remove this last message. It's stupid and irrelevent (in my opinion)
I hope some can help how to remove this.
Kind regards

Hi
After a call my TP2 shows the "phone call screen" whether I've entered it or not. Is there somehow I can get directly to the home screen after a call ?
I know the "phone call screen" will dissappear after a few seconds, but still ? Is there any registry tweak or cab or something ?
I personally make it a habit to press the end call key and then back key. I find it gets me out of the dialer faster than spamming the end call key.
So I have an LG Panther (the LG prototype WP7 device), but I've forgotten the lockscreen password (no, it's not a stolen phone before anyone asks) so I'm trying to figure out how to hard reset it. The trick of pressing the up and down volume buttons during startup as stated in the WP7 tips and tricks thread brings me to a debug screen, as seen below.
The text at the top says "User Profile, Usbserial, No-Download, Kitl-Enable" (the third option alternates between Download and No-Download every other time I boot into debug mode.) Once I get to this screen, it doesn't respond to any button presses and the only way to turn it off is to pull the battery.
Any ideas of what this screen is, and how to get a hard reset done? Is there a way to do it through the computer? I'm kind of guessing no, since there's no real WP7 sync mechanism other than Zune, but it doesn't hurt to ask I guess.
you can do a hardreset through your live id
logon to your hotmail and there must be an option to wipe the phone or to call your phone .

Tap on it and it should appear a menu asking to continue using the phone or power off, tap on power off and your device should restart. after that the notification will be gone.
Thanks however touching the notification doesn't do anything. Thinking back on it, I probably saw this menu the very first time and did not choose Power Off. Hopefully there is a setting somewhere that can be adjusted?
every time i got that, i just rebooted my device and its gone.
I want to modify the android HTC One X in such a way that the user turning off the phone by pressing the "power off" thought he was actually turned off the phone, but the phone really does go into a "hidden mode" (to turn off the screen, the phone has not taken SMS and incoming calls, is to operate the GPS and data transfer). Does anyone know how to do this or knows who can do such a modification?
I just got this phone and the active button was one of the main reasons I got it. However it's not working as I thought, so I'm not sure if there is something wrong with my phone.
The active button works fine when the screen is on, or when it is off (after pressing the power button) but it hasn't been off for too long.
However if I wait for about 5 minutes, and then I press the Active button, it doesn't turn on the screen or ask me for a password/fingerprint/pattern.
If I keep pressing it on and off, for a while, eventually the screen will come up.
Is anybody having this issue or there's something wrong with my phone?
Thanks.
Could anybody please try the following?
1. Be sure that when you click the Active button it brings up an app.
2. Go to "Lock screen and security" and click on "Screen lock type". Select a finger print and a secondary locking mode (Pattern, PIN or password)
3. Go to "Secure lock settings" and click on "Secured lock time". Select the first option "Instantly with the power key or..."
4. Press the Home button and then the Power key to turn it off.
5. Wait between 10-15 minutes.
6. Press the Active button. If nothing happens, then you have the same problem than me and I will be relieved there's nothing wrong with my phone.
Thanks a lot for trying.
Double-posting is really frowned upon here at XDA, and I provided a potential answer (or maybe not) in the "Ask me anything" thread since I didn't see this one prior to making the post in that thread.

I'm sorry. It's just this whole forum seems kind of dead, except that thread where people seem to help. Since I didn't get any answers in 2 days, I thought about posting it there.
