You need to be more specific. Like I said, flash nightly 40, the most recent is generally better, for starters.
Idle what's the difference between them nightly # but ima do what u say, and an specific kernel to run with it?

Alright, personally, I use the 3.3.7 kernel; though you'd be fine with the built in kernel.
The difference between the nightly numbers is that the newer ones have more tweaks, and performances enhancers, ect over the old one. The nightly builds upon the old one, to make it better, and generally fix bugs.
So I can't use Netatchy's kernels with it? I'm just trying to get my camera working again

NO, do not do that.
netarchy = sense kernel
CM7 = AOSP rom
You should never mix the kernel and rom type. aosp rom needs an aosp kernel, and a sense rom needs a sense kernel.
Iight well ok ima try and find out a kernel or something that gets my camera working

The equipped kernel or Tiamat will be fine. I'm on nightly 40, on 3.3.7 as I stated, no issues.

40 worked fine for me personally. 41 gave me problems...xD Just high battery drainage. But yes, download between 39-41.
fyi, the nightly builds should be more for people who know more about programming, they are test builds where they are expected not to work correctly. the CM RC are mostly worked out with few glitches, and CM STABLE shouldnt have any problems, if you are new to development i would suggest to stay to RC or Stable....
I need a good kernel recommendation for the latest nightly? Even if it's the stock. What do y'all use?

OK, thank you its for my gf, she loves her rooted phone but the stable version is all buggy so I'm putting her on a nightly with a custom kernel to see how her phone takes it. I myself have a shift with the nightly and its running perfect. We have Tiamat but i don't use it. But ive read some good things on it. Ty

You guys have hard kernels that will OC to 1.28 for long time now. If no dev is putting those in anymore, it's probably because they aren't stable for much of anyone. Besides, the process size of the Scorpion on that devise would require ridiculous voltages to remain stable at that **** speed.

I don't. They definitely didn't do that with FroYo or Gingerbread, so why start now?

OMGB is as close to stock as they can make it. As soon as google releases the source and korg is back up roms will begin being compiled.

Yeah, and that Android didn't have the worst dictionaries of any OS in the 21st century. I've got some pretty beat up hands and typing on glass is a pain in my ass.

I would check out the anthrax kernal on http://www.forums.infectedrom.com/ with hacked beats audio, or else http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1496488 which is a build off of lithid's kernal.

I would advise that you just use the one that comes with the kernel. The developer existz has tweaked his custom kernel so it's optimized with his ROM.
Is there a reason you want to change it? I can't imagine any other kernel being much of an upgrade.
I can't leave well enough alone. Just boot looped trying to flash a mw3 boot animation. I need to quit before I break this thing.

Haha yeah...it's an addiction. If you don't have a reason for wanting to change, you might want to try modding things other than the kernel. You won't get better aospX performance with someone else's kernel.
