I can get 1day 15hrs on CM7.
What rom are you running? If on AOSP, I highly recommend the Tiamat kernel along with viperboy's scripts.
Try Deck gingerbread rom 1.2o With Savage zen sbc kernal with viper scripts . i get 1 day and 8 hours.

I have found that just switching the ROM doesn't mean you have the best settings for battery life. Right now I run bonsai4, and with many personal settings to help prolong the battery and get somehwere between 22-30 hours of battery like with my daily use habits.

synergy rls 1 is a hybrid sense 2.1 / 3.0 rom.. but the dev team behind it was gnarly as hell and did a great job.. link is in my sig

Synergy is the best for Sense 3.0. I'm looking into CM7, but I want tips on how to get at least a days worth of a battery (kernel, scripts, etc).

deck's rom is aosp 2.3.5 and has amazing battery life probably the best of any rom i have used. that + savaged-zen kernel 2.2.1 sbc gave me a full day and then some on a bad day
but yeah synergy rls1 is the best 3.0 hybrid i have used.
See yeah definitly wany one that's a battery saver ill check out synergy

im new to the whole ROM and theme thing for the evo since I just got this phone and had to deal with it not being rootable until recently. I was looking for suggestions on the ROM I should use that Is the fastest and most battery efficient. Im running Synergy ROM at the moment and it looks real nice but slow at times. depends what u want , for asop i love Decks i would get well over a day , day and half on that. For sense i like MikG i get about 19-26 hrs on that.

CM7 + Tiamat kernel + vipermod = Game winner. I can get 3 days on it. Though I have tested leaving my 3G on 24/7, and I have pulled 1 day 6hrs @ 44% battery life, so its a win-win either way.
Can you bring those Links to this post and I'm having horrible signaled in on latest radio ATM and never see more than 2 bars

Ok so i set my thing to 768/245. but its STILL going up to 982 or w/e. Ive tryed redoing it over and over.. on my last rom i had alot of different preset options and now i only have 3 on this new one.. Userspace, onDemand, and performance.. can someone please help me fix this?? i need more battery power.. i can only go like 5 or 6 or 7 hours while only texting

What kernel are you using?
im a noob to root stuff soooo idk.. i do know what a kernel is now but im not sure what one im running or anything like that.. still hard for me to understand all this
If you haven't flashed a custom kernel then you still have the stock one which doesn't underclock or overclock

Mostly all roms come with the stock kernal so you have to flash a custom kernal so you can underclock/ overclock
