I rooted my phone with unrevoked 3 and install Cyanogenmod 7. Here's some of the problems I'm having:
1) Phone shows there is no SD card when one is inserted.
2) Can go into USB mode to get to the SD card.
3) Can flash anything off the SD card from recovery.
I need to install Google apps so I need my SD among other things!
PLEASE HELP!!

I am currently rooted running fresh 3.3.0.1 and just out of nowhere my phone rebooted and then my sd card will not mount. I have tried booting into recovery and it can not find the sd card. No matter how many times I reboot my phone or try and mount the card it just keeps telling me that the sd card is safe to remove. Any help? Thanks for any response I can get.
Please help someone. This is not allowing me access to any of my apps that I have placed on the sd card. Therefore I can hardly do anything on the fresh rom cause everything is stored there
I have a Sprint Evo 4g that is rooted and running cyanogenmod 7.
I had a 4gb sd card installed and was preforming a backup so i could install a new 16gb sd card. But in now the phone will not recognize any sd card installed, or mount inserted card and is also now showing up as a plugged in usb device.
And the phone will only boot to the os if it is plugged up to the computer. if its not plugged up it boot loops the evo logo.
Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks in advance.
On my DInc, my SD card refuses to be read even though there is a card in the slot. If I boot to recovery, I can go under Mounts/Storage and Mount USB Storage to copy my ROMs etc to it from Windows Explorer.
But as soon as I boot into the Dinc, the SD card says "Preparing SD card" followed immediately by "SD Card Removed". What's the deal with this?
I've used a great number of ROMs and it simply hasn't worked in a while. I'm currently running Clutch 1.0.
Any ideas how to get my SD card working from the phone again? To reiterate, I can access the SD card if I reboot to recovery and access it under Mounts/Storage. Just not when the phone is booted up for use.
I think your best bet would be to reformat the sd card through a pc to FAT32. Make sure to copy all the sd card contents to a computer before formatting it. See if this helps.
Quick help: I decided to flash this rom after rooting the One X. But i forgot to put the rom file into the internal SD, i flashed the boot.img and it's in a boot loop. How do i get it out? Thanks!
I suppose you do have the latest cwm. If not, download it and flash it.
After that, go to recovery and there should be a option to mount sd.
Select it and your pc should Recognize the sd card.
After that, put rom on sd and flash as usual.
I mounted the SD card but when i attempted to connect the phone to the PC, it does not show anything. The phone shows unmount/ SD Card

Do you have the recovery from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1594819 ?
If yes, connect your phone to pc first before you select mount usb storage
Done thanks!
Is there a way to go to recovery and do a backup / restore via USB rather than from the SD card? My Dinc2 recently experienced death lag and a while before that the SD card slot just decided it was going to stop detecting any SD card I put into it.
Currently using Revolutionary Recovery and IncrediblyParanoid final version.
