why wasnt it included? this gallery is way cooler than stock android or htc sense gallery
probably not the right place to ask, but I noticed that in 3d gallery you cannot share a photo through MMS, while in the regular Desire gallery you can. In 3d gallery, the share menu does not have as an option share through messaging. Is this true or is there something wrong with mine?
thanks!

Well I'm running CM6 on my Desire with 3D gallery and I can share via MMS from the gallery no problem
and also to OP: I don't know why they didn't include it but I don't see it as too much of a problem as it is easily installed

its because if htc includes it , its highly likely that it will work better , less buggy, and more responsive, can u post the file youre using?
its because the 3D Gallery is a nexus one app, not a htc app lol here is the apk you can install it normally, also this is the version called Gallery 3D not just gallery so it dosent clash with the native htc gallery app
Use the Options>About Messenger>Report A Problem menu to report this to yahoo if you want it to be fixed.
Sorry, not what you expected but the only way
The more we are that report the issue the sooner it will get fixed, probably not by the time it's officially launched but it's worth the try.
Mention that you can't switch to the front facing camera but that the one on the back works.
Don't forget to specify device and OS version.
Maybe it's worth linking the original post in the Evo 4G section, which also includes download links.
Fyi, it's a version of Y! Messenger supporting Android to PC videocall
yup, got it myself from there. Hope we manage to bring this to yahoo's attention because once the app is released they really are slow to update...
yahoo messenger - front facing camera doesn't work
I just discovered the same problem on my Galaxy S 4G. I am able to make video chat calls from my PC to my phone, but the phone only uses the back facing camera. Also, the sound quality is horrible! Lots of static. In its current state, the software is useless. I hope-hope-hope that Skype will enable video chat calling on Android the way they have on the iPhone - Yahoo Messenger for Android is just a beta program that needs a lot of fixing.
Back to trying Tango for now to make mobile to mobile cross-platform calls. So far, there is no software that works across all platforms for video calling. Skype! Can you hear me...?
videochat working on 2.3.4 version
Videochat is working in Google Talk.. update your android version into 2.3.4 and finally your front facing will be used.. tested and 100% working on my Mytouch 4G

A video supporting version of skype is available here:
http://www.villainrom.co.uk/SGS2/skype045.php
Does anyone know if this works on the DZ so we can see the video on the other end even if they cannot see us due to lack of front facing camera?
There is a thread about that here:
[Q] Skype with video call
Ive searched around didnt find much info on the Nitro HD.
I just picked this up for my wife, she loves it.
Whats the best video chat app (preferably free & mainly 3G)?
We tried Fring, doesnt look like front cam is supported.
Tango doesn't seem to work either.
Skype didnt work.
We got ooVoo to work, but quality seems a bit lower than Fring.
Hows the Qik app? It seems its wi-fi only is that correct?
Thanks for the help guys.
Skype works fine, if you don't mind hold the phone sideways.
GTalk (already installed as Talk) also works, which I found sound quality better then skype, but video worse. However you'll need root and SQLite Editor to manually set flag "gtalk_vc_wifi_only" to false in "Google Services Framework" -> gservices.db -> main
and do that after every update.
Or maybe this app will do

Tango works great

skype green on receiving end
Hi all,
The front facing camera of my nitro hd is not working properly in skype. I got my HD nitro recently and updated it to the ICS leak. So I don't know if the problem existed on gingerbread or not. My talking partners can see me but only through very annoying green vertical lines (see attched jpg). However, I can see myself without the green lines on the lg nitro screen. I can also clearly see my talking partners, so no problems here.
Is there a workaround for this? any advice would be much appreciated, thank you.

P.s. It seems like other devices have had similar problems.
can't include links becaus I'm a new user, sorry, just google
