I had a WM phone previously and found an app that allowed me to toggle the phone speaker on/off when using a BT headset. Is this possible in Android (2.3).
Apologies in advance if this has been answered, but I cannot find a solution

I am usings Dutty´s 2.3 and my BT Headset Jabra Bt3030. Principal it works fine but if I push next or previous title or stop/play the display allways switch on and never goes into standby. It´s realy bad when I am carry my HD in the pocket. Is there any possibility or solution to fix this problem?
I am using the Original Rom from HTC before and this problem only happens with the start/stop button and not with next and previous!

Anyway, what music player are you using? Default Windows Media Player? or PocketMusic?

I am using the TF3D music player.
I have the same headset but on a stock Orange UK ROM (using TF3D player)... When I change track the screen lights up briefly but I have S2U2 which seems to a) keep it locked and b) kills the screen pretty quick.... Not sure if that would help?
I do not like s2us. i use the standard phonelock but it do not solve the main problem! Seems to be that there is no solution available.
i have the problem that since a few days my buttons are completely wrong associated in mortplayer. if i tap "next" on my headset, windows media player launches and the screen turns on. when i use the tf3d player it works ok, but the player sucks. any ideas on that?

Sorry for pushing thes thread, but i have still the same problems with my BT headset. In the meantime i am using WM6.5 Dutty´s R4. Is there a solution for this kind of problem?
Hi guy's, i have a problem i havn't found a solution yet....
i've paired my bluetooth headset and all outgoing calls work fine. But when i get an incoming call its audio is routed to the phone instead to my bt headset, so every time i get a call i manually need to tell it to use the bluetooth... it's very annoying and unsafe as i use my bt headset mainally while driving...
I've looked every where, and tried all sort of apps that turn your bt off when a call is done and turn it on and pair back when i receive a call... but it takes time until the phone pair back with the headset... no good....
Please help if you have any solution, or you too have the same issue...
I have a rooted phone, using pays 1.6 bravesoul (based on mcr 3.1).

I had the same problem when using 2.1 ROMs. It is fixed on Froyo (DeFroST 1. 2 at least)

Thanks for the replay, The thing is that a very simple software can fix this, but I cannot any thing that works... and Froyo is not stable enough for me...
I have exactly the same issue but with 3 different bluetooth devices. The phone will make a call OK and use the bluetooth device for audio, but when receiving, the audio is routed to the phone. Weird.
On my Touch Diamond 2 it uses BT headset if i use the headset answer button to answer the call and if i use button on the phone it uses audio on the phone. Maybe its same with android?
No, it doesn't matter what device's button you use or even after a reboot.

I've been using DHD for one year.
I'm totally satisfied with it's performance.
I've tried ARHD, VU, VA roms and finally still using ER3BUS Final version.
In my previous mobile phone experience before DHD, I double tap on my bluetooth headset to redial the last number.
However I can not redial via bluetooth headset since I bought this phone.
Neither with the stock rom, nor with the custom roms I can not use redial function.
Is there any solution for this problem?
P.S. I have SonyEricsson MW600, Sennheiser bt620s, samsung wep400 bluetooth headsets I tried with all of them, unfortunately without success.

Hi guys,
I just bought a platronics m25 bluetooth headset.
i'm paring it with my gs3 running 2.1.2
problem is i cant seem to figure out how to turn off the microphone on my phone, when talking on the headset.
when engaged to a call, my phones mic and my headsets mic both work, thus creating an echo , hearing myself talk = very annoying.
is there any kind of setting im missing? maybe an app that can solve the issue?

I have the exact same problem with my s3 and my plantronics m25.. Running also 4.1.2, let me know if you find any solution.
