Sorry for the delay... I like to have a life after work.
Wifi Tether works just fine for me with my iTouch, but I can't even get that thing to connect bluetooth to my headset. It refuses to even see any of my other phones.

bluetooth won't connect to pc. ever.

I have tried probably a million things. I finally got my pc and my evo to pair, but they refuse to connect. Basically I wanna use bluetooth tether. So far the only thing I have been able to do with bluetooth is push a file to the phone. Seems like bluetooth isn't a very good feature on android. Anyone got any ideas?
Having the same problem. My mac can send files to the phone but when I try to get files from the phone to the mac it wont connect, just pair, and an error pops up that says"this device doesnt have the necessary services"
PROTIP: The bluetooth stacks in your computer suck, and probably the one in your phone sucks because you're using stock.
Just sayin' it how it is.

Seriously, though... Which wireless tether program are you using?

[Q] Reverse tethering in WP7?

I had a Touch Pro2 and dumped it for an EVO. I was so pissed when I found out Android doesn't support reverse tethering. I need my PC to give internet to my phone through the USB connection. No I cannot simply get WiFi. It is forbidden where I work (offshore). Does anyone know if reverse tethering works on WP7 like it did on WM6.5?
I've read that it does support it, but don't know how to test it.

Yup it works through Zune - just plug your WP7 phone in to your computer and open Zune, and reverse tethering occurs automatically ^__^
This is great news. I will definitely be buying a couple of HTC 7 Pros when they come to America.
Anyone want to buy an EVO and a Samsung Galaxy Epic on Sprint?

yes , it will work , you can easy test it by putting your phone in flight mode and then connect it the the pc , you will see that your internet explorer still works on the phone .
ps: and to make you real happy , I just tested it and it works perfect (don't need to do anything, just connect and sync with zune)

4.2.2

Since I have updated to 4.2.+ i am not able to connect my xbox to my tether program. ( i pay for the tethering from verizon, just saying for those who wish to flame about tether) I use the built in tethering on the Gnex and All other devices , connect, PS3, Wii U, N7 etc.... except the 360.
Has anyone had this problem and been able to solve it?
Thank you

that actually sounds like your xbox compatibility issue instead of the android issue, afterall your other devices connects no problem.
I have the same problem!! I am running a stock rooted 4.1 rom , and it tethers great.. if I update to any ROM 4.2.X I can not tether my Xbox!! Everything else works great.. I can not figure it out. Its not the Xbox its something to do with 4.2.X.

[Q] Pairing Apple tv2 & SGS3 via bluetooth

Now finally Apple tv2 has support for bluetooth keyboard. this means a Jailbroken Apple tv2 with XBMC has support for bluetooth keyboards
so I was thinking if there is a bluetooth keyboard emulator that I can install on my SGS3 and pair with my APTV2/XMBC via bluetooth?
Is this even possible?
it would be nice to have a Galaxy S3 that gives orders to an IOS Device...
Anyone have any info?
Forgive me for not remembering the name of the app, but i remember researching something similar a month or 2 ago. There was publisher that had a host app, which would be installed on the primary device (paid), and then a client/device app that would be installed on the add-on device (free). I was curious because I wanted to use my s3 as a keyboard/touch pad for my tablet via Bluetooth. Whether the publisher also released this on ios and Whether they'd actually communicate is another story. Again, I wish I could remember the name of the app. It's or there, though, so you might be headed in the right direction. Good luck
It should be made possible. Why buy more hardware when software can resolve this. I am still searching. Hopefully tonight after work magic will happen

did you mean a Nexus Q? I would like that. but I am trying to find a way to save money. besides, there is nothing better out there than XBMC running on a jailbroken APTV2.

Bluetooth tether to ipod touch

Just wondering if anyone has any info on this. Should the stock bluetooth tether be working with a rom like Lifeless? I can get them to connect and even claims it is sharing data, but ipod will not load web pages.
