We already get pretty good battery life, up to 2 days with moderate usage... You're not going to get much more out of it...
I wont make t 1 day with my batgery....
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
I assume you mean battery...
How do you know? What do you do with the device that will use all its power so quickly? Mine is averaging 2 days on a single charge with moderate use; there's no reason why anyone else can't manage that.
Besides, all those so called "battery saver" apps are just placebo's anyway; much like memory saver apps are.
Idk man. I tweet alot. and my 3g sucks battery... 2g isnt an option either....
I know battery savers are fake. I got no such thing like that running.
I think it is because everytime i check what apps are running, some apps are open which i didnt open myself at all...

It doesn't sound like you have any idea what the op is asking about.
Better battery stats is one of the best programs for tracking down what programs are triggering wake locks and bleeding your battery.
Using it i found a few programs which had hidden refresh settings set annoyingly high.

Best task killer for note 2

I have used advance task killer and tas killer and unimpressed by both, I want one to save battery and kill apps, anyone have a good experience with something differnt. See screen shot for rom and kernel Info

you're better off finding out which app is killing your battery and removing it. the only device i had task killer on was my old archos 101 since it only has 256MB of RAM.

Buzz words that mean nothing,
try a basic ROM with nothing installed for a day, if that works add stuff in till something breaks.

Yeah, you've got something wrong that a task killer won't fix. That's more than abnormal. Either you're running something/everything with bad sync settings... Or some ****e app is runaway.
Run "better battery stats" for a few days.

Wow.. maybe a bad battery? Or Rom?
Running Macksrom.. light usage I'll get 2 days plus out of my phone. Heavy screen and media still get's me 24 hours or more with no charge. This phone I've had no fear of using all that I please when unplugged. The only "task killer" i use is ES Task Manager to control my white list.
Also, that is running overclocked
Like someone said, find the app that's killing your battery and work on that first. I recommend gsam battery. If that doesn't help you then get juice defender. The pro option gives you even more options. There is no need for a task killer on android. The os is made to be as efficient as possible.
Sent from my Amazing Galaxy Note 2!
Battery calibration does nothing. Battery stats are wiped automatically everytime you charge to 100%. Task killers are worse for battery than not using one. Android manages apps just fine on its own, killing them with a task killer just forces the OS to unnecessarily wake up everytime it needs to restart a service. Your best bet is to use better battery stats to find what rogue app is killing your battery and/or using autostarts app to stop things you don't use from starting to begin with.

Try gsam battery monitor from the play store to narrow it down.
Depending on usage, 6 hours could be normal. I get that with extremely heavy usage.

Don't waste time installing junk task killer, it will drain your battery. Just use the stock one. Hold home button and hit the trash icon.
The best task killer is no task killer
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda app-developers app
more than likely, as stated earlier, it is probably your battery. i had this problem with my stock battery as well. and yes it tested and charged fine but it clearly was not. after purchasing 2 anker batteries and charging them everything is back to normal and getting 2 days out of one battery with light use.

I was gonna saybthis but you beat me to it. Ics and jb have pretty good memory managment to begin with and the note 2 having 2 gb of ram helps a lot
Best way to charge your phone is a 500mah or 700mah charger. Takes forever to charge but the battery loves it better and gets a much stronger charge. The slower you charge the longer it lasts. Whenever I go to sleep I plug it into my pc

Battery life improvement tip

So I always had an issue with battery life and people probably already know this but underclocking really helps. I under clocked from 1500 down to 1200 and have seen significant improvement. This may not be the best test as I was home all day so I was connected to wifi the whole time but I still think this is pretty good. Running aokp awesome audio 4.2

I never did that but i use Rom Toolbox/app manager and freeze Maps (i hardly use it and i noticed it uses alot more battery).
But the best way to conserve the battery is to just turn off the phone and don't use it at all. :

[Q] Battery Saving apps stop working

Hey everyone! Over the last weeks I have been trying out several battery-saving applications on my Huawei P6:
- Juice Defender (Ultime)
- GreenPower
- Deep Sleep Battery Saver
- ...
I configure all of these battery saving apps to enable data/wifi for 1 minute, then disable it again for 5 minutes.
All the applications work when they are just started but after a while (~20minutes) these application stops enabling data/wifi...
Because of that I no longer receive any emails, ... because the connection is not enabled automatically...
I am running version B111 and all background apps are allowed to run. I am not running a task killer which could be killing these applications.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Anyone else using any battery saving apps that they can recommend?
Feedback is appreciated!

u dont need apps for battery .. p6 has built in battery drain detector .. all those apps in store are fakes ..
I have the same issue with juice defender...
It always goes disabled after a while...
I haven't found any solution.

Whether the battery saving apps are Bloatware/Crapware is a personal opinion. I'm free to use whatever I like and I wanted to use if because there is much more functionality included in these dedicated battery saving apps compared to the built-in power save option on the Huawei P6.
I don't get why it's not compatible? Even after disabling the built-in power save feature on my P6 It still did not work.

[Q] Extended battery mode

Hello,
I use to have GreenPower as app for power management, with good results. The bad, the RAM waste.
I would know how many time the stock power management "Extended battery" (or similar, in Spanish is called "Modo en espera ampliada") waits until cuts the data. I'm not sure how could I know this.
Thank you so much!!!

Thanks!!
I'm happy with GreenPower Premium. The point is I was asking myself how could I free RAM. During my search I realized GPP uses between 10-60 mb RAM...
That's the reason why I thought to use the stock Extended Battery Mode.
Regards!!
