Is there any way to dual boot?
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
Nope i wish think the s3 n nexus can do it
It's not technically dual booting, but you could make 2 or more nandroid backups exactly the way you want them and easily flash in recovery on boot up. Just a suggestion.

I'm pretty sure...
I remember when I had my HD2 still working you could have a rom on the NAND and one that ran/bootable from the sd card, but those roms were specifically designed for that. I never tried it because I saw no need for it for myself. Perhaps this is what he was referring to.

Sorry bout that.......every once in awhile I get the error message.."new SIM card need to reboot".
After reboot its fine until it happens again....curious if this happens to others and possible fix.

Have you tried removing the sim card and putting it back in.
If that doesn't work you can try getting a new sim card to see if that does fix the problem.

You should probably ask your question in the post not the title of the thread
Force crossbred and direct injected S4
How do I do that? This app is kinda confusing!

Sorry, I was trying to help. Yea, the question would be nice to hear.
From the looks of it his card is permanently blocked. I would assume this is his issue. But probably better to hear what he or she has to say

I feel your pain brother i'm also in the land of less then 10 posts:highfive:
I downloaded one of the clock work mods rom and mistakenly hit protect sim card. Now i can't flash roms doesn't have aroma installer on them. Any roms that have 150 mb i can't use. It'll say phone lock use puk code.

How could the SIM card be locked if the Sprint GS3 doesn't even have one? Maybe the OP flashed the wrong ROM?

If that's the case you only have to type the PUK(personal unlock key) code.
To get it do the following:-
Call your service provider's customers care from an another phone with the same service provider and then give your sim's 20 digit number(it's printed in the SIM).Now they will give the PUK.Just type it and your phone should get unlocked.
Hit thanks if I helped

What ROM are you running? Are you sure it was for the Sprint variant (d2spr)?
Yes it was for Sprint when I had it. Now I'm running hyperdrive 13.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
Hyperdrive 14 is a universal ROM that doesn't seem to have carrier specific variants. If the problem started on Hyperdrive, that could be why. I don't have any experience with that ROM so I can't really help but with that info, maybe someone else can.
I'm sorry at the time when my phone started saying sim locked was when i was using cynogemod rom. I guess that's how you spell it. My daily driver is hyperdrive 13.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
Sprint phones do have a sim card and it's built into the device. They are not remove able. I have heard of sim cards going bad. Search the sprint S3 section on sim card issues.
