Sorry bout that.......every once in awhile I get the error message.."new SIM card need to reboot".
After reboot its fine until it happens again....curious if this happens to others and possible fix.

Have you tried removing the sim card and putting it back in.
If that doesn't work you can try getting a new sim card to see if that does fix the problem.

We need more info. What roms/mods are you using? Have you tried transferring the data from the sd card to a pc, reformatting the sd card, then transferring it all back and putting it in the phone?
I haven't but I guess I will

You may need to back up your memory card than reformat it than restore it again from your backup. I found than reformatting will fix most memory card issues.

Unfortunately it takes a little time, this may be the answer to your problem
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA Premium App
Be patient. Sometimes it gets stuck for a while, but it eventually goes. I've had situations where I've had to wait 10 minutes. Now, that's only happened like twice but it does happen. Just give it time.
Also, did you just flash a ROM? Like, flash, reboot, and this happens? Because whenever you flash a ROM, the media scan takes forever.
If nothing really works, just try reflashing the ROM.
I formatted my sd and got rid of 5 of my 8 gb ._. Now I'm waiting for everything to get back on.

Nothing's ever happened to my Epic...and I've used up more than 13 GB.

There is a bad read on there somewhere. Why do you only have an 8MB card? It came with a 16MB? You definitely need to back it up on a computer with a card reader, then go into CWM and reformat the card.

Hey man I had the same issue as you. I even lost root for some reason. I fixed it by using his super wipe script. Then flashing the rom then radio and literally not touching it for like five minutes after it boots up. Once I got signal I then rebooted and was good from there.

Try unmounting your SD card, retry the update, then remount the SD and see if that works for you.

If you have install issues, unmount your sdcard first, then install/update your apps. Afterwards, re-mount your sdcard.

I just checked my phone for storage and realised that 21gb was photos and videos but my phone is the 16gb model. I also have have about 150 photos in my phone but no videos... Is this just a glitch? Or is it something more serious?
Thanks.

Have u tried restarting your phone? If u did, are u using stock ROM? If yes, then it should be a software problem. If no, flash another ROM and see If the problem persists.
